The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 343: Reaching the Beach

"Yes." Kyle looked at the sea of giant mutated animals in front of them and then at the distance away.

There should be someone who was watching them even if he couldn’t see or know about it properly.

That professor was quite vengeful.

But this kind of giant mutated animals horde was nothing for them. The ranks of these giant mutated animals were simply too low.

"Ok."

They soon boarded the helicopter and fly away.

<Are they watching us?> Kate asked. To be honest, it was easier for her to make a move rather than Lotte, but Kyle didn’t ask her. Thus, she had been quiet and simply laid as a small cat without any intention to move.

<We’re close to the beach. There are a lot of people who want to know how strong the Black Group is now.> Kyle was still calm. <Don’t worry, everything will be well. We’ll finish the mission and then go back safely>

"Meow~." <I know.>

Lotte looked at the two of them in front of her, felt somewhat envious of their ’telepathy’ that they could use through the blood contract. Unfortunately, normal human couldn’t form a blood contract with other humans.

Someone had tried and nearly died in the process due to blood loss.

The rest of the journey was smooth.

They reached the beach and the two pilots were arranged to stay in the nearby hotel while the rest of them were going to the beach after taking the helicopter back into Kyle and Kate’s space.

The island was located quite a distance away from the mainland. Looking at the vast sea, Jake felt somewhat bitter. "We should have asked Dylan to come. He’s clearly the best in this environment."

Because Dylan decided to stay back in order to protect City E, their element lacked water. But in the end, they really needed someone to stay behind.

And Dylan’s control was one of the strongest among them.

He choosing to stay behind might also be because his family has long been worried if he were to leave and took more dangerous missions. They didn’t want their only son to take more risks.

"He’s busy with the research and business."

"You mean, he’s busy with the research and wooing his business partner." Lotte rolled her eyes.

Jake laughed and shrugged.

Dylan was still as cold as ever and in Jake’s opinion, he didn’t seem to have that much opinion about this peculiar business partner of his.

But as a woman, Lotte was sharper and noticed the faint differences. She would not say it in front of Dylan, but it was fine to say it in front of the others when Dylan himself was not present.

At least, she would be braver.

Lucy clicked her tongue. "Their backgrounds are indeed quite similar with each other. So I guess that meant they would have to interact with each other for quite a long time from time to time."

"You can also search for someone with similar background." Lotte shrugged.

"No. I would rather beat these giant mutated animals during my free time." Thanks to this red rain and the appearance of these giant mutated animals, Lucy had officially found another hobby.

And this hobby was so prominent that she almost took missions to beat up these giant mutated animals all day long.

There were various kinds of mission.

Most of them were posted by the restaurants who wanted certain types of meat and Lucy’s method of beating them up was definitely the best to keep the corpse intact. Those people loved it the most when Lucy was the one taking their mission.

The corpses were mostly having broken bones because of her violence, but it was still intact.

The cores were naturally given to Lucy while they paid some money that was used in currency for the corpse. In any case, the money had already started circulating again even though the value had been fluctuating from time to time.

"The areas around City E is already very clean thanks to you. You will have to travel further if you wish to meet these giant mutated animals." Marc’s lips twitched.

When he took mission, he had no other choice but to travel further thanks to Lucy cleaning up those giant mutated animals. That was how he ended up in that miserable situation and silently swore that he would never take solo mission again.

He was not suitable for that kind of mission.

"I know." Lucy pursed her lips. "That’s why I’m buying a place with the money I have obtained. I’m planning on opening a business."

"What kind of business?"

"Probably a gym or some kind of training area? I haven’t really decided." Lucy rubbed her two hands.

Anyway, if she couldn’t beat these giant mutated animals, beating other people should be kind of fun too. She could also learn to control her strength better so that she would not kill them.

At most, some broken bones.

Listening to Lucy’s plan, Marc silently lit a candle to Lucy’s future target. They would never end well.

"Wang! Wang!" <Robby wants to help>

"Oh, are you supporting me, Robby?" Lucy laughed and happily patted the silly dog’s head. After communicating with Robby for a long time, she could more or less guess what Robby was saying.

Even if it was not the precise words, she could guess the intention of this dog.

"You keep on forgetting who’s your owner now, Robby." Marc patted Robby’s head too. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"Wang! Wang!" <I didn’t! Don’t slander me!>

Kate watched their interaction while laying comfortably on Kyle’s embrace. She chuckled seeing how they interacted with each other. Soon, the ship began to start and entered the sea.

After a few months working together, Lucy and Marc had long integrated into this group.

The moment the ship started, Robby forget about everything else and started barking happily towards the sea in front of him. It seemed that watching the ship travel on the sea was an exciting experience for Robby.

He was really excited.
