Soul for a Girlfriend?

Kizhashi's POV

"Uhh… Do you happen to know anyone from class 2-4?" He asked in an uncertain tone and stared at me a for while as I tried to process why he would ask such a random question.

"Huh? Why do you ask?" I asked him in a confused tone, as he replied with a shrug, "No reason in particular."

Knowing him, he doesn't appear to be the type of person to just socialise with someone from another class, considering that he doesn't even talk that much with people from our own class. Though he seemed to know everyone.

Narrowing my eyes at him, I crossed my arms over my chest and said with suspicion in my tone, "Hmph, you're a stalker or something?"

He wants information about someone from that class and I was pretty sure about it since the last time he wanted help from me.. It was about Naoto senpai. I wonder what he actually is doing with this information because even though he seemed quite normal, these things were suspicious.

You normally don't ask your friend to gather information about people you haven't even interacted with. With Naoto, it was understandable since he appeared to have an interest in her, but this time, it seemed to be different.

What if he indeed was a stalker?

I mean, after how he was blackmailing me, no normal person would do these kinds of things. Either way, I was in trouble and wanted to get over with helping him as fast as possible. 

My mind was in a dilemma.

"Of course not. What image do you have of me inside your mind?" Staring at me for a while, the expression on his face changed into a dubious one as he added with a sigh, "Actually, don't answer that."

I chuckled, as it was quite fun to tease him even though he barely reacted. Though I was a bit confused and curious as to why he wanted to know if I had friends in that particular class. Looking at him, I asked, "Why class 2-4 in particular?"

He didn't reply to me instantly as he kept walking for a while before turning his gazes towards me and in an agitated tone, he started, "So… like you won't believe what happened."

"Eh? What happened?" I was a bit taken aback by him because the irritation in his voice was clear and his ears were slightly red. I've noticed it earlier too that his ears get red whenever he is embarrassed or something.

He turned towards me with narrowed eyes as a frown formed on his face and he asked, "Gaisen hasn't told you?" 

Even though me and Gaisen were on talking terms, things weren't like how they used to be between us so gradually we don't share that much among ourselves. With an awkward smile, I rubbed the back of my neck and said hesitantly, "We don't talk that much lately."

He stared at me for a while as it appeared like he was going through different ways to answer me correctly as he slowly looked up and said in a bit of hesitation in his voice, "Ah… so this girl suddenly came up to me and kissed me."

It took me some time to process what he said as we kept walking in silence and staring at each other frequently. I freaked out at him and asked in a excited tone, "What the fuck!?" 

"Seriously… I'm not even kidding." He said with an unamused face as it appeared like he didn't enjoy the kiss much and what I was curious about was who is that girl?

"She just kissed you out of nowhere? Sounds like a story out of a romance novel if you ask me." I rolled eyes and sighed as he nodded and replied in downcast tone, "Well you can ask anyone if you want. It happened in front of everyone."

I was shocked as my mouth was hung open, and I kept staring at him. A girl kissing someone in the middle of a class and the fact that it was none other than Sakamaki was way too much information for my pea sized brain to comprehend.

"She kissed? In front of everyone? I can't imagine being this bold." I asked in a baffled tone as my tone got lower in the part as he looked at me with clenched jaws and opened his mouth, "And she just left like nothing happened after kissing me."

"Is she crazy or what?" I asked, as he narrowed his eyes and nodded positively, "Probably, but then I saw her last day too…"

"And…?" I asked, shaking my head slightly with narrowed eyes as he continued, "It made me curious. So I tried a bit and found out that she was from class 2-4."

Of course, he would be curious about something like this. But rather than being curious, he was quite creeped out because it seemed because anyone would be creeped out if someone just pulled up on them and kissed them suddenly.

"A girl from class 4? Interesting." I nodded, as I did have some friends from that class, but they weren't really close friends. More like a group of friends I happen to be a part of.

"What?" He asked me with an embarrassed look on his face as I replied, "The part that she is interested in you is just…"

"Yeah… okay I get it."

"So… I do have some friends from that class… you know, not like a friend kinda friend but…" I mumbled out, but he heard them and replied with a nod, "I get you."

Looking at him, I narrowed my eyes and noticed that hidden agitation in him as he seemed to be quite restless about this, even though he was great at hiding it. With a frown, I sighed and asked, "So… what do you want from me?" 

"What I want you to do is…" He looked at me with serious eyes and leaned a bit closer to me and started talking in a low voice as I kept nodding.
