Chapter 184: The Grand Dark City Ticket
Chapter 184: The Grand Dark City Ticket
"This simple?" she asked before adding, "don't underestimate their boss."
"I know it's strong," Bloom smiled, "but we didn't use our great advantage yet," he mysteriously said before adding, "dash!"
He went directly towards the middle of the huge pack of monsters. The moment he appeared there, he sent the monster he hit flying while turning around and evilly smiled. "Let's make this fight more even, shall we?" he didn't stop waving his swords while he moved the rocks on the ground with his legs.
"Swoosh!"
"Swoosh!"
"Swoosh!"
The moment he completed putting the rocks in their right places, a rain descended and started to kite away the monsters' Hp. "Good," Bloom nodded before starting to move from one place to another, evading the angry monsters and their boss.
As for Nara and the team, they watched in daze how calmly and confidently Bloom was fighting and moving with full rounded eyes.
"This dude he makes me feel I'm not playing the same game as him," Jeffrey shook his head before adding, "let's go, we have to kill monsters with him."
With the presence of over a hundred and fifty agents attacking monsters, and Bloom making these monsters run in circles, they found not much pressure in dealing with these monsters.
The monsters' brutal trick was to increase the monsters' levels by one with each supreme skill use. However after all this fight with them in the previous halls, the team started to have a good grasp on how to deal with them.
And few mistakes were made, and they had the ability to rapidly correct it.
After half an hour of this stressful fighting, and the usage of many potions, Bloom and his team finally managed to kill the last monster, completing the dungeon which made them all exhausted.
The boss monster wasn't anything unique than others, except it added five levels, not just two after using its supreme skill. Bloom didn't find it hard to kill with others, especially he intentionally left it for the last.
"This dungeon made me feel I never played a game before," Jeffrey was panting while sitting on the ground, resting after all this hard fight.
Bloom watched some of his team collecting materials from the fallen monster before it vanished in one minute. "Each high ranked dungeon here is like this one," Bloom said.
"But it would be much easier if these players stopped harassing us," Nara came and sat beside the two while taking a deep breath.
"I agree," Jeffrey said while Bloom simply nodded.
"Why isn't there a system alert about us finishing the dungeon?" Nara suddenly asked, and this alerted even Bloom to a certain possibility. "A treasure box is here!" he thought to himself before turning around.
"Boys, we have a treasure box here," yet before he could say anything, Jeffrey suddenly jolted up as he shouted, "go back and scan every single inch of this dungeon. We need to find and open it fast."
He then turned to Bloom as he widely smiled, "this tip I got by an expensive price from one of your past team members, hehehe."
"Who?" Bloom bitterly asked while he already knew the owner of this leak.
"Someone you won't meet anytime soon," Nara mysteriously said, cutting the road over Jeffrey to speak before adding, "or perhaps you met recently? In real life?"
"Hahaha, you are speaking in riddles and I can't even guess the identity of that ex-team member of mine," Bloom laughed, trying to evade answering this question.
"Humph," Nara was still doubting him, "anyway this treasure chest will be divided as such, one third for you, one third for me, and the rest for the team."
"Why do you get one third?" Bloom strangely asked.
"What? Acting stingy my dear mighty lion?" she playfully said while acting innocent. "I'm the one who brought the team together, and vice leader of the team. So I'll take as much as you do."
""
He speechlessly glanced at her while she chuckled, "don't look at me like this, after all you are aiming to make everything you have belong to me, right?"
""
He didn't reply while a message suddenly came in to save him from this awkward moment.
'Master, they are preparing to move in an hour.'
This sudden message alerted Bloom and made his face change slightly.
"What's wrong?" Nara asked, as she didn't miss this minute change of his face.
"Nothing," Bloom sighed, "it's just I remembered my own special quest. I took much time here already and just realized that."
She suspiciously glanced at him while he sent a message back to Muna with one question: 'What happened?'
'You happened,' Muna simply answered before adding, 'You seemed to clear a dungeon and Panty began to lose his cool. He decided to go now to the quest and not wait for the time he decided before.'
Bloom sneered and before Nara could say anything, a player came fast and said from afar: "We have some players coming to block our path."
Bloom, Nara, and Jeffrey all stood up at the same moment while Jeffrey asked: "Are they going in now?"
"No, they are surrounding the dungeon."
"And what's in that?" Nara sighed before adding, "we can use the tickets to return to the village anytime we want."
"No, we can't," suddenly Jeffrey muttered and his words made Nara's face change.
"The space lock scroll?" she whispered.
"Indeed," Jeffrey nodded, "we have to march at least one mile away from here to be able to use the tickets again."
"This" Nara seemed distressed, and turned to glance at Bloom.
'Planning to trap me here?' Bloom inwardly sneered before saying:
"Don't worry, we can bypass them."
"By the agents?" Jeffrey asked before adding, "I know they are strong, but this is the wilderness. They are planning to bring all the monsters around and attack us."
"Like we did before to them," Nara muttered.
"I told you I got this," Bloom smiled as he mysteriously added, "I have something interesting you might want to see," he then took one item and showed it to the two, making them exclaim in realization the next instant.
"Oh, and we also have another one like this," Nara evilly smiled when she received a message from the players who opened the chest.
"System alert: Congratulations to Bloom's team for clearing out level fifteen grade red dungeon. As the first team in the game to clear such a dungeon, they will receive corresponding rewards according to their performance."
The next instant the system notification kicked in and the one Bloom received seemed a bit strange.
"System alert: Congratulations to player, as being the highest in DPS and the one who killed most monsters and players, player has given two hundred thousand dark points, the right to obtain twenty quests in the black market, and the ticket to visit the grand dark city anytime he wants."
'Impressive, I got all the rewards related to my dark class,' he was astonished to receive such rewards. For him, the dark points were something he needed, but the amount he received paled in front of the handsome reward of the quests.
'Twenty quests are enough to add at least two million dark points to my account,' he thought to himself, 'but this ticket what is this grand dark city?'
