Chapter 176: More Tactics in the Dungeon Heist

Chapter 176: More Tactics in the Dungeon Heist

They didn't take much time and effort from Bloom to kill. When they used special skills like stun and some delusional skills, his clones were there to do the job for him until the effect of the skills wore off.

After he finished, he had over half of his Hp intact and three Hp potions consumed. But he wasn't dejected by that, as he gained much more from the fallen players.

It seemed all of them had their inventories full of potions before coming here. Such a small detail told him how much they were experienced in PvP than him.

'Wow, we killed them!' Nara sent in the team chat before adding, 'What should we do now?'

"Come and clear all these monsters," Bloom shouted from the hall while he started attacking monsters with the aid of his clones.

The next few minutes all the surviving monsters were cleaned by the team while losing ten players in the process.

Yet no one complained, and all seemed extremely excited and delighted by the achievements they did here.

Before they even finished the monsters, Bloom had taken everything dropped by the three hundred players, leaving none to them.

"Won't you share the loot with us?" Nara laughed while sitting beside him after killing everything.

"You get the loot of the monsters, and I get the loot of the players," he simply replied.

"Sounds fair," she said before adding, "what about Horn?"

"Send him with everything we got and keep an eye on him," he glanced over the dark magician who was immersed in excited talk with some players of his team. "Just make sure he didn't sense anything."

"Alright," she nodded, "how many potions do you need him to buy?"

"Everything he could buy," Bloom simply answered, "how about the two teams out there?"

"They seem terrified and won't enter, hehehe," she laughed with a pure smile that brightened up her face.

"Have they retreated?" he asked.

"No, not really," she shook her head before thinking for a moment when she noticed his serious gaze, "in fact when thinking about this now, things seem quite odd."

"Sure," he smiled as he realized the intention of these teams, "if they won't attack us, then why wait outside."

"Are they going to attack now?" she hurried to ask.

"Not until they buy the valuable info from the three teams we just wiped out," Bloom shrugged before adding, "if they haven't done this already."

"Oh," her face changed, before saying after a brief moment of silence, "do you know when will they attack us?"

He turned to face her with an amusing look. "Tell me, if you were the one leading these groups and learnt all the facts that happened here. What will you do?"

She went again to silence, thinking deeply about this question of his.

"I would have waited for you to reach the final hall, roughly ditching the false info we shared on the forums and try to calculate things on my own," Jeffrey was the one to answer, as he came to sit beside the two.

"Good decision," Bloom agreed.

"But why wait for the last room then?" Nara didn't understand, "we have finished a great fight now and have low stamina. It's the best time to hit."

"No," Jeffrey shook his head before adding, "the main threat here isn't us but the monsters. So they won't move until there is only the last hall remaining. Like this they would avoid the trap we sat for other teams."

"Don't forget the potions consumption along the way too," Bloom added.

"I don't understand this," Nara sighed, "if they waited till the last room, there would be the boss monster there. Dealing with it will be much harder than dealing with normal monsters."

"Agreed," Bloom nodded before adding, "but like this we won't have any corridor to hide, and the fight will turn chaotic from the first moment they appear."

He paused before adding, "in fact if they caught us in that last hall then we'll be doomed."

"Oh," she had her beautiful eyes widened, "but isn't there a risk that they might calculate wrong? Or perhaps we accelerated the tempo and cleared the dungeon faster than their intervention?"

Bloom smiled as it seemed the previous life tactics were getting revealed slowly in just one dungeon run. "Indeed, so they might send scouting teams from time to time."

"To see where we are now, right?" Nara said before sighing, "this seems troubling."

"Sure," Bloom nodded, before adding, "but each tactic they will follow, I have the perfect counter to it."

She and Jeffrey glanced weirdly at him. "How can you know all this stuff?" Jeffrey couldn't help but ask.

"Just thinking too much in too many details," he shrugged without saying more.

"Are you do you have mental issues in the real world?" Nara hesitated before asking.

"Oh, you might consider me unique if you want an answer," he winked to her while laughing inwardly at her wild imagination.

"Hehehe, I don't think someone as evil as you can be a normal person in the real world," she laughed and he only helplessly smiled.

"Make Horn move back now," he said before adding, "we are going to need him soon."

"What for?" Jeffrey asked, "we have eyes in the teams already."

"You'll know later," Bloom patted his shoulder while Jeffrey just shook his head and went to give Horn his next instructions.

Horn used the ticket to leave the dungeon, followed by a message of him leaving the team. "Have you sent someone after him?" Nara asked Jeffrey who just smiled and nodded.

"Good," Bloom said before adding, "let's get moving then."

"Now?" Nara glanced weirdly at him, "we still need extra minutes to rest."

"My clones have only four minutes left and they'll disappear," he said while standing up, "let's get the full use of them before they vanish."

He turned towards the team before adding, "besides the team didn't lose much stamina to begin with."

He was right, as the past fight the toll was mainly on him, not them.
