Chapter 175: Trapping Players In A Slaughter House
Chapter 175: Trapping Players In A Slaughter House
"Damn, he was a monster himself!" one of those who mocked him earlier muttered in disbelief before having a hit from Bloom and being sent flying backwards.
Yet contrary to all, Bloom didn't continue hunting them as he just used one dash to hit the rear staff holder player, taking him towards the distant wall and then hitting a couple of times and killing him.
Then he leisurely walked towards the tunnel where he stood inside its entrance without moving a finger afterwards.
"Is he trying to trap us here?" one of the players was smart enough to deduct the obvious.
'Retreat after you lower most of monsters' Hp below thirty percent,' he sent to his team in the chat while entering in the tunnel and waiting there patiently.
'Are you going to be alright?' Nara sent with much concern.
'Don't worry, I got them in my trap and no one will come out alive from here.'
He stood with both swords on his side and his senses were stimulated to the max. Just as he retreated, the players thought this was just a delusion, and the monsters pushing hard at them made them return to reality.
"Someone go inside there and kill him," one player shouted and just as he finished, a group of twenty players moved towards the tunnel.
The tunnel was wide enough to allow five to seven people to walk side by side. Yet in a fight, a defensive fight like this, against such a monster like bloom; sending a group of twenty inside was a suicidal act.
Just as the twenty players reached him, his swords didn't differentiate between a shield bearer or a weapon wielder, as he sent all flying backwards and even killed half of his double swords.
To those inside the hall fighting with monsters, it was like a bomb exploded and almost half of the team they sent were sent flying back with massive damage over their heads.
"Screw you!" one of the players who were sent flying cursed before he and a couple others were driven by anger and went again into the corridor.
And this time they didn't fly back or heard from them even again in this dungeon.
"Damn, you are much more sinister than our lord described," one of the main leaders of the three teams cursed before shouting at his men, "boys, let's clear this room and start hunting that loser down."
"Yeah!"
The entire group of slightly over two hundred players roared in unison while they started to raise the intensity of their fight.
'We have retreated,' Nara sent to Bloom in the team chat, 'I hope this works.'
'It will,' Bloom simply answered while waiting for the monsters to activate their skills.
"C'mon, what's taking you all this long?" he was impatient. After all in his plan there was one single problem he didn't have a solution to.
The two outside teams staying on put and yet to enter.
If they came before he finished this team, then he would be the one suffering from his own trap.
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
Just as he was growing impatient, turning back to glance if anyone was coming here, five consecutive roars appeared from the hall, making his heart jump in his chest from excitement.
"Finally, hehehe," he laughed while the sounds of screams coming from inside started to overshadow the sounds of skills.
"Regroup, come towards the rear and regroup," one player shouted, trying to reorganize his team. Despite that, when the players came to Bloom's line of sight, he only noticed a wary group of less than a hundred standing there with paled looks over their faces.
They were all level thirteen and fourteen, so facing monsters in level twenty seemed crazy.
'All AOE players go in the hall now and start using their skills non-stop,' he sent in the team chat while laughing, 'let's add more fuel to the fun.'
Bloom heard the next moment the skills coming from the other end of the hall. They seemed muffled among the chaos going on now, yet in less than a minute, he heard five more roars as the most beautiful symphony ever in his ears.
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
'Retreat, that's enough for now,' he leisurely gave them the order like the leader of the orchestra.
'They are back,' Nara said before excitedly adding, 'Shouldn't we attack them now?'
'No, you are saved for later,' Bloom smirked as he was pretty sure if any team came now, they wouldn't endanger his plan.
'What later?' she asked with confusion.
'You'll know soon,' he simply answered before hitting a couple of players who chose to retreat and run away from the monsters, to be sent back in such humiliation inside the hall then be killed by the rampaging monsters.
Fighting angry level twenty monsters was somehow hard and challenging for these elite players. But fighting level twenty-five was suicidal.
So their best course of action was to regroup and retreat, or else they would be all wiped out under the hands of their target.
"Retreat at once, and let's kill that mother*cker," one of the leaders shouted in rage, driving the remaining less than a hundred player around him all towards the tunnel.
"I thought you'd never come," Bloom laughed before waiting for them to arrive near. "I believe you bought desserts for the funeral, right?" he smirked while muttering a skill just before he got hit by a tire and was stunned for a couple of seconds.
He was pretty sure those standing alive up till now were the cream of the crop of the three teams. They must have strong unique skills like him.
So underestimating them would result in his death for sure, and he didn't do this beginner's mistake here.
The skill he activated just in time resulted in the appearance of seventeen dark clones in this corridor. The clones didn't need any order as the next moment the tunnel was lit up by many dashes used by both sides, alongside a wide AOE skills that rained on Bloom and his clones, trying to deplete their Hp.
