Destroying My Own World

Mykel had been staring at his palm and he felt the itch to release some tension inside his body. He kept growing stronger and stronger like a growing tooth, and he wanted to test it out on someone.

"Elena, would you like to spar with me?" Mykel asked as he stood up and gently touched the table, but then the table broke into pieces because of his gentle push.

Beldathiel was startled and she immediately grabbed her pillow as she stood up. Everyone was surprised by what was going on, but when Mykel looked at his hand, they realized that even Mykel was surprised by his own strength.

"Okay, but where do you want to do it?" Elena asked as she grabbed her jacket from her chair.

"The Void," Mykel answered as he fixed his gloves.

"Can I join? I want to test my new power as well," Luciel asked as she looked at both of them. "You're going to be here alone, Beldathiel, have fun," Luciel said as she chuckled.

"Then I'm going to watch, I also want to check something out about my new power," Beldathiel said as she stretched her arms and wings. "I might have found something interesting with my power," Beldathiel continued as she smiled weakly.

Mykel warped everyone to the void where Mara used to live, and the place where a new universe was created because of the battle between Mykel and Elena against Mara. Elena, Beldathiel, Luciel, and Amaryllis were standing next to each other while Mykel was standing in the distance in front of them.

Mykel activated the [True Daemon] to summon his wings, but when the wings came out, they were as wide and big as the universe itself. They were all dumbfounded and petrified when they saw how majestic and massive his wings were. When he flapped them, the four of them got pushed with a force that was as strong as a supernova.

Mykel looked at his wings and even though they were too big for his size, they were so easy to control. He could feel every part of the wings like it was his own hands, and because of that, the stars and planets that were supposed to be near the void realm got pushed away. He had just extended the universe with only a flap of his wings.

"Mykel..." Amaryllis called with a worried expression.

"I know. This power is too much to control. I won't let it gets me," Mykel answered and realized that if he wasn't careful with his [Supremacy] skill, he might die because he couldn't contain the power anymore. "After all, I'm just a human with a true Godly power," Mykel mumbled to himself as he deactivated his [Supremacy] skill to stop his growth.

Elena and Luciel suddenly appeared right in front of him in their own way. Elena used her life energy to approach Mykel while Luciel manipulated the space to appear right in front of him. They both were ready to punch and stab Mykel, but their attacks were deflected by a barrier which shocked both of them since their attacks were supposed to ignore space and any barrier.

Mykel shrunk his wings that fit with his body and spun around to throw a back kick at them. He moved so fast that they both almost couldn't see him moving his body.

Elena created a barrier around her and Luciel, but her barrier was shattered and she was in pain since it was her own life energy. They both got kicked away and almost disappeared into the distance in an instant, but it didn't take a second before they both came back.

Both Elena and Luciel used everything in their second attempt, and they both managed to break the barrier that Mykel had created. But to their surprise, it was just one of the many barriers that Mykel had created, and this time they both were grabbed in the face and threw them away before they could recover from their own attacks.

This time, Mykel appeared right above Luciel, and he threw a punch right on her stomach. It was so painful that she could feel like every part of her body was being ripped and torn apart. When she looked down, her body from her chest to her legs had gone, and her wings were torn.

Luciel was still in the middle of regenerating, but Mykel was already above her with his fist ready. She wanted to run away by moving through space, but Mykel grabbed her arm and prevented her from leaving.

"I know what you're trying to do, and I'm not going to let you leave," Mykel said with a smirk.

Elena suddenly appeared right next to Mykel and she used the same amount of life energy as when she broke the barrier. Mykel blocked Elena's punch, but his arm exploded, and half of his body as well. He was prepared to endure the pain, but to his surprise that he didn't feel any pain.

Mykel removed his hand from Luciel to grab Elena's hand, but Luciel cut off his hand with the new sword. Elena then grabbed Mykel and sucked his life energy that got scattered in space. When she felt Mykel's life energy, she felt like she was being burned from the inside, and the energy burst because she couldn't handle it.

Amaryllis came to ease Elena's pain by emptying the life energy inside her and replacing it with hers. She was in time or Elena might die from the surge of Mykel's life energy. If Elena only took a sip of it, she might be fine, but she took a huge gulp and choked herself.

Mykel spread his wings and flapped them to send them all away from her, and none of them could endure it. He then cast [Sacrilege Flame] and it formed so big as the sun that it created a thousand times stronger gravitational pull than the sun.

They were all getting pulled as the flame got bigger and bigger, but suddenly the flame stopped growing and they stopped getting sucked into it. Mykel was curious, but then Beldathiel appeared right behind Mykel and put her hands on his shoulders.

"Did I catch you off guard?" Beldathiel asked as she wrapped her arms around Mykel's neck.

Mykel was surprised that he couldn't move his body as if he was being pressed down by some force, but it didn't feel heavy at all. He used everything and managed to move, but he couldn't move his body quickly as if he was moving inside water.

"No..." Beldathiel paused as she hugged Mykel more tightly. "You're not allowed to move," Beldathiel continued.

It became harder and harder for Mykel to move, but when he had enough of it, he exploded the sun above his right hand. The sun cracked, and Beldathiel who realized her skill couldn't contain that immediately flew away.

The moment Mykel could move again, he threw the sun at Elena and Luciel as it started to shrink before it released a supernova. Luciel decided to take it head on as she activated her [Arrogance] skill which made her capable of manipulating everything.

Luciel spread her wings and arms, and then she pointed them all at the shrinking sun in front of her. She then tried to stop the sun from exploding by compressing it and preventing it from exploding. She knew that Mykel wanted her to test her new power, and that was her test.

Mara and Elena were capable of stopping it, and Mykel wanted to see if she could do it as well or not. If she could, that meant she was equal to Mara, and it would be good enough because the bar was set on Mara's level in the novel.

Luciel managed to suppress the flame and it became as small as her fist even though her hands were burning. She could handle the flame which was already a good sign, and she didn't struggle to manipulate the flame. It took a while, but she finally made the flame completely disappear.

Luciel was so proud of herself, but suddenly Mykel created a bigger one than before, and she realized that it was far from being over.

"We will be here for a while, Luciel. We're not going anywhere," Mykel said as he kept making the flame bigger.

"I'm not planning on leaving," Luciel replied as she looked at Mykel with a smirk.
