Villain – Peeking at the Diary, the Female Leads’ Personas Collapse

Chapter 64

Chapter 64

Watching her leave, Ye Aotian couldn’t help but smile. Interesting woman.

Ye Aotian turned to Anna and asked, “Princess Anna, do you have something on your mind?”

“You are incredibly annoying. I told you I dislike you, so why do you keep talking to me?”

Ye Aotian was stunned. This shouldn’t be happening. He’d been flirting with women for years, and no woman had ever dared speak to him like this.

“I know the Grand Duke is difficult to deal with, but I told you that as long as you ask, I’ll naturally help.”

“Oh, you’re amazing.” She placed her glass down and left immediately.

Confused, Ye Aotian went over to William and asked, “What’s with your sister?”

“Not sure. My sister’s actions are always hard to understand.”

“So, why did Anna come to China? Just to seek medical help?”

“Maybe. She only found out about the marriage arrangement a few days ago, and she came here right after. So, it’s probably related to the Grand Duke. Why, do you have a thing for my sister? I’m telling you, you’d best give up.”

“Does your William family fear the Grand Duke?”

“Ha, fear?”

William replied, “Royalty may be noble, but that doesn’t mean they hold actual power. Real power is held by the Rothschild family; even the queen can be replaced. What do you think? Your Dragon King reputation may be famous, but the Grand Duke doesn’t take you seriously. My advice: keep yourself in check. There are plenty of women out there—no need to invite trouble.”

“She’s your sister. If she’s unhappy, don’t you care?”

William, struck to the core, replied, “What does it matter? What can I do? No one in the family dares say a word. I’m just the heir; what could I possibly do? Drink, drink.”

Ye Aotian looked at William and said, “We’re good brothers. Don’t worry—I won’t let your sister suffer. I’ll definitely save her. Maybe I can’t yet challenge the Grand Duke, but who knows about the future?”

Naturally, the Grand Duke got word of Ye Aotian’s attempts to approach Anna and had already sent someone to tail her. It wasn’t hard for the Grand Duke to find an undercover agent.

As for Anna’s current whereabouts, only Chen Fan knew.

Chen Fan turned to look at Anna, who was lying beside him, and sank into thought. The Grand Duke is my brother—don’t do this. I’m nervous. Damn it.

Chen Fan genuinely felt the woman beside him was insane. Weren’t you just at the bar? Out causing trouble? There’s no plot for you here, but you should be interacting with Ye Aotian a bit, right? After all, this guy, Ye Aotian, has a weakness for women, unable to resist when he sees them. Isn’t that a protagonist’s standard trait? Why did you come back?

Actually, Chen Fan had a sharp sense of things. He noticed when Anna came back, but he couldn’t act then. How could he reveal to her that he knew everything and had seen it all? So, he pretended to sleep.

To his surprise, the woman slowly entered his room, carrying the smell of alcohol and a fruity taste lingering in her mouth.

Chen Fan had no intention of looking at Anna. He planned to ignore her, let her figure things out, and then leave. But judging from the look of things, she had no plans of leaving.

Chen Fan decided to shift slightly to see her reaction, hoping to gauge the situation. But to his shock, she just kept staring at him.

Oh my god, the Grand Duke is my brother, a real brother, and we’ll still be working together in the future. I don’t want our relationship ruined because of you. You must be testing me. Yes, this woman is crazy. She’s totally insane.

Under Chen Fan’s astonished gaze, she reached out and lifted his eyelids. She didn’t want him pretending to sleep. This was Anna, different from everyone else.

Maybe it was her foreign upbringing, but she was more brazen. If it were Zhu Yeqing, she would’ve glanced at him and left. But Anna wasn’t like that. If she thought you weren’t asleep, then she’d wake you up no matter what.

“Princess Anna, you’re back?”

“Yes, I’m back. You sleep deeply. I had to push you to wake you up.”

Chen Fan smiled and sat up, saying, “You don’t have a room to rest in? I’ll arrange one for you. Don’t worry—I’ll take care of you on behalf of the Grand Duke.”

“Ye Aotian wanted to take me home, but I refused. He insisted and dropped me off at the hotel.”

Chen Fan replied, “What’s that guy up to?”

“I’m not sure, but he seems interested in me.”

“Ha. How laughable—does he not realize you’re the Grand Duke’s woman?”

Big sister, I’m begging you. Act normal. Right now, I’m genuinely scared. The way you’re behaving, I’m running out of lines. This is too much. Could you just act like a human for a bit?

“I entered the hotel room, confirmed he had left, then snuck out here. No one knows I’m here.”

“That’s not acceptable. Your movements, I must …”

“If you dare tell the Grand Duke, I’ll tell him you made a move on me.”

Damn it, who are you trying to scare?

Chen Fan went into villain mode, saying, “Trying to threaten me? No one’s ever dared threaten me—not even you.”

“Oh, really? Getting mad? Hit me then.”

Damn it. Chen Fan lifted his leg and lightly kicked Anna. This time, he controlled his strength, using about one-fifth of his power.

Anna sat on the ground, in shock, clutching her stomach. He actually dared to kick me.

“Regarding you and the Grand Duke, I offer my blessings—sincere blessings. The Grand Duke has made his feelings for you clear. I think highly of him and am eager for our future cooperation. Do you think a mere woman could obstruct my family’s prosperity? Sorry, no matter how beautiful you are, it’s irrelevant to me.”

Anna wasn’t bothered by any of that. Her thoughts were simple: How dare you kick me?

Anna lunged forward, throwing a punch at Chen Fan’s face.

Chen Fan, unfazed, caught her arm, threw her over his shoulder, and pinned her down. “Behave yourself. I’ve had some combat training.”

“I don’t care what training you’ve had. You dare hit me?” Anna was only momentarily stunned but didn’t mean she’d be bullied.

One punch after another was thrown at Chen Fan’s face.

Vajra Body Immortal Technique wasn’t something Chen Fan earned in vain. Her fists struck his face so hard she felt as if her hand was breaking.

It hurt—really hurt. But she’d already lost control.

She was curious to see what Chen Fan, this villain who wrote diaries, was thinking. Could he truly resist women?

She didn’t believe any man could resist a woman, especially herself. And now, she loathed the Grand Duke even more after understanding his personality, and Ye Aotian too. If Chen Fan hadn’t appeared, she might’ve considered dealing with Ye Aotian to spite the Grand Duke.

But now that she knew Chen Fan, if forced to choose, she’d prefer Chen Fan. She wanted to see his intentions, but she didn’t expect him to hit her.

Chen Fan, thoroughly provoked, lost his temper. Are you serious? You still won’t admit defeat? Well, you did come up through underground boxing.

Looking at his hand, Chen Fan grinned. I’ll zap you. He slapped Anna hard across the face.

Anna froze, stunned, unable to believe it. This scene shattered her perception.
