Braveblitz tried to move away as quickly as possible, using the power of his wings to propel himself away from danger.

However, the claw coming after them was faster.

Barely, by combining his mind and instincts with Blake, Braveblitz was able to save his life, although his left arm paid the price, as it was torn apart instantly.

"Ugh…!"

Braveblitz felt a tinge of pain, as a robot, his own senses were very dulled, but whenever his internal circuits were torn apart, he would feel an electrifying sensation, pain.

"Your reflexes are impressive, you managed to survive that!"

Blake glanced at the origin of the voice, Agonitias had changed. His entire body was now much different than before.

When he released all that steam, Agonitias was actually making his gigantic body more compact, realizing that fighting someone so small with a massive body ended being an actual disadvantage, he decided to become faster.

And to pay the price for that, he had to sacrifice his massive, bulky body, through spending his calories and energies, and releasing it as steam, he compacted his muscles five times over.

His armor was also mostly discarded, although new, lean, and light, even harder armor grew over his body, which was now metallic and black.

His human skull-shaped head had now changed, resembling the skull of some sort of reindeer or other horned animal, or maybe an alien.

The rest of his body looked skeletal, despite that, he was actually packed with incredibly tensed, compacted muscles.

"He reduced his size to become faster… And stronger too?"

Blake instantly deduced everything based on his appearance and movements.

"Braveblitz, hang in there."

The second later, he took out a large mechanical arm from a Demonic Sentinel stored inside of his Umbral Crimson Domain and used Fusion to restore it.

Braveblitz was already inside of an Exo-Machine Warrior, but his arm still got cleaved alongside the Exo-Machine Warrior’s arm.

"There you go, that should do it for now."

"Thank you Blake! Ah, watch out!"

FLASH!

Agonitias appeared above them in an instant, swinging his massive legs towards Blake and Braveblitz with extreme precision, force, and dexterity.

He was still gigantic compared to them, being above a hundred meters of height, he had reduced his size by five times, but Braveblitz remained small!

BAAAM! BAAAM! BAAAM! BAAAM!

A barrage of powerful kicks reached Braveblitz, as Blake managed to place the reinforced shield in front of him to tank the hits, although he was pushed down constantly, sent flying into outer space even farther away.

At the same time, the shield instantly shattered into pieces, the hardest shield available in the damn online shop couldn’t take on that Xenoid’s direct blows!

"You know how I’ve grown so strong?"

Agonitias once more appeared besides Blake and Braveblitz, he moved so quickly it was unbelievable. It was as if the lack of gravity within space didn’t bother him at all, giving him the ability to stand still even within it.

He moved across space without being bothered by this annoyance, as if everything in front of him became a solid surface he could walk on without issues.

No, he didn’t walk.

"It’s because I’ve been observing many fighters through my long life. I don’t kill them or eat them immediately. I fight with them. I see them struggling, I see them growing weaker, and once they have unveiled all their tricks, I kill them, and eat them."

FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!

As Agonitias spoke, he moved at lightning speed from one place to another, trying to confuse Blake and Braveblitz who remained where they were, waiting for the opportunity to strike.

"…So you haven’t merged with their consciousness?"

"I don’t like doing that. I think everyone deserves a fair death… well, warriors do. So don’t worry, Blake. You will have your honorable death, and then the knowledge within your brain will be mine."

FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!

Agonitias continued moving as Blake gripped his spear tightly through Braveblitz, even the robot himself was growing nervous, with all his senses at full power.

A single strike could easily rip them both apart, they couldn’t lose their focus!

"Isn’t it wonderful?! You’ll have an honorable death!"

FLASH!

Agonitias attacked, appearing above Blake and swinging his claws against him, without even daring to use weapons anymore, fully knowing that Umbral Crimson could get in the way or steal his equipment.

CLAAASH!

Blake barely managed to dodge, losing one of Braveblitz’s wings in the process. However, he didn’t let that annoy him, quickly manipulating the power of his Umbral Crimson Aura into a spiderweb-like substance, wrapping around Agonitias’ leg before he could escape again.

"Huh?!"

"I got you."

"Hah? Do you think you’re the one that got me? Nonsense, it’s quite the opposite!"

Agonitias, however, happily rushed back to Blake, unleashing a barrage of powerful punches against Braveblitz!

Blake responded by waving his hands as the mass of Umbral Crimson shook, rapidly warping around Agonitias hands and stopping him from attacking.

"Wha…?!"

Agonitias didn’t realize that Blake was aiming to stop his movements!

Although Umbral Crimson couldn’t cut his arms, as it had no spatial destruction abilities, Agonitias was annoyed, as it felt like his arms were stuck on a sticky, and strangely slimy place.

"This is…?!"

He quickly used his long tail to cut his arms off, escaping a second before a massive weapon merged from the very umbral crimson shadows that had trapped his arms.

RUMBLE!

"Nggh?!"

However, despite his best efforts, it was still useless as the weapon that Blake sent back to Agonitias was his own massive sword, made of bone and flesh!

CRAAASH!

It managed to slash through his left arm, tearing apart three of his arms at once, while flesh and blood splattered everywhere.

"You dare use my own weapon against me, fool?! I can easily control it now that it is within range!"

Agonitias laughed as he began to rapidly regenerate his wounds, touching the bony sword and then sending it back to Blake at full speed!
