Chapter 150: Chapter 147: A Date with Hope
Chapter 150: Chapter 147: A Date with Hope
[3rd POV]
Walking downstairs, Talia was met by Hope, who was dressed up in some casual clothes, as Talia had told her to. They didn't really do super fancy dinners anymore, so dressing up was no longer needed. They only really wore fancy clothing during big events and crap like that, otherwise, it was casual clothes every time.
"You look great, baby" Talia said with a smile, as she looked over Hope's form, inwardly purring at her mates clothes that accentuated her curves.
"Thanks" Hope replied, blushing slightly as Talia looked over her figure with a smirk. Talia had done it hundreds of times now, but she could never get used to it, none of the girls could. It always made them shiver as their mate appreciated their figures without caring that they could see.
"You ready to go? We've got a nice and simple date in front of us" Talia asked, causing Hope to nod, smiling as she softly grasped Talia's hand in her own.
"I'll see you girls in a few hours, okay?" Talia said to the others who all nodded, giving Talia a peck on the lips, and giving Hope smirks (or a smile in Kara's case).
"Have fun!" Kara said as they walked out of the door, and disappeared from the farm, leaving the three alone.
"How much you wanna bet she's going to get her back blown out in a couple of hours?" Isabelle asked, causing Kara to cough on her own spit, and Clary to bust out laughing.
"Pfft, knowing Talia? Likely" Clary replied with a laugh, while Kara blushed, knowing that it was the truth.
'...Lucky' Kara thought with a small pout, as the three went back to the living room, deciding to find a nice movie to put on. They had watched a lot of movies over the past months, so they were starting to watch old classics that they had never seen before. Today they decided on watching the Godfather, as none of had seen it.
Reappearing in a new location, Hope looked around, wondering where they were, only for her eyes to widen slightly as she recognized the surroundings.
"Talia, is this-" "Yep, welcome to New Orleans, or the New Orleans of this world at least" Talia cut her off, smiling as Hope looked around, eyes glistening slightly with unshed tears, as it had been a long time since she had last been to New Orleans, and she had...missed it.
"Thank you" Hope said as she surged forward and hugged Talia, tears welling up in her eyes. Talia's eyes softened as she felt Hope hug her. She buried her face against Talia's chest, quite close to Talia's breasts.
"It's alright, baby. And I do hope those are tears of happiness, and not sadness? I'd hate to see my babygirl cry" Talia said softly, causing Hope to shake her head against her chest. The tears slowly began to cease, as Hope sniffled slightly.
"It's happy tears, Talia" Hope replied against her chest, her voice being muffled slightly as she hugged Talia close. A small smile forming on her face as she hugged Talia, nuzzling against her.
Talia hearing this, smiled, and pressed a soft kiss against her girlfriends forehead "Well then, if this world is anything like yours, I'm sure they've got some places you know. How about you give me a tour of the place?" Talia asked Hope who's eyes lit up as she nodded, excited to show her girlfriends her hometown, and the town she adored.
"Okay! There's this really good local place that sells Oxtail, I hope it's still here!" Hope said as she practically dragged Talia with her, which Talia did nothing but smile at, happy that her girlfriend was happy.
Later, Talia and Hope were walking through the streets of New Orleans, after filling their bellies with Oxtail at the place Hope told her about. Turns out, most of New Orleans in this universe were the same as Hope's new orleans, only difference being there was no supernatural beings there.
"You were right, darling, that Oxtail was delicious" Talia said, as they walked the streets. The oxtail truly was quite good, even by her standards. She was literally the God of Cooking, so if she thought something was good, then that meant whatever it was, was good.
"I told you! Mama Patricia never fails" Hope said with a smile, causing Talia to chuckle, remembering the kind old lady known as Mama Patricia who had made the Oxtails in the first place.
"You certainly did. And those collard greens were good too, usually I'm not the biggest fan of them, but it seems she's quite the master of soul food" Talia replied with a smile, as they walked hand in hand to the nearby movie theater, as Hope wanted to see a movie, one that was seemingly exclusive to this world, as Talia had never heard of it.
"It's just like the New Orleans in my world, just a bit different. No supernatural, no constant fighting, no death and destruction, just people living, and the people seem more...happy" Hope said as they walked through the streets, a small smile was on her face.
Talia glanced at Hope, understanding that the girl was probably missing home, as it had been a long time since she was last there. It had been more than a year at this point, and it would only continue to be longer.
"Well I'm glad you're liking it, love. I've taken you girls around the world, and even the universe, but...I haven't brought you here yet, so I thought it'd be fun. Especially since I've never actually been here before" Talia said, causing Hope to look to her in surprise. "You've never been to New Orleans before?" Hope asked, surprised. As Talia traveled around the world all the time, so it was surprising to hear that she had never actually been. "Mmhmm. The closest thing to me being here, is my clones, and that doesn't really count, now does it?" Talia replied, which got Hope to nod, as clones didn't count.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
"Well we've got to go all around then! A stupid movie won't be nearly as fun as showing off the city!" Hope exclaimed as she began to drag Talia along with her, deciding that she was going to show her girlfriend the city, instead of a movie that she had been interested in. Plus, Talia would take her to it another day, for now, she was more interested in showing Talia why she loved this city so much.
Turns out Hope loved the city for good reason. It was...beautiful. But more than anything, Talia found that the food was fantastic. Besides eating the Oxtail and Collard greens, they had went around the city finding and eating all sorts of other foods from the area.
She showed Talia Jackson Square, the Saenger Theater, St. Louis Cathedral, and various streets. With the two ending on the French Quarter where they were walking, Hope with a large smile on her face, and Talia with a smaller one, seeing the happiness that her girlfriend was practically exuding.
"Did you like the date, love?" Talia asked Hope who nodded rapidly, happy with the date. It was easily the best one they've been on in quite some time.
"Yep! All our dates are amazing, but this one...this one is definitely the best" Hope replied with a smile, causing Talia to smile in return, happy that her girlfriend enjoyed it so much. "Well I'm glad you enjoyed it. You ready to get back home? Or do you want to walk around more?" Talia asked, causing Hope to look to her.
"There is one more thing that I want" Hope said, before walking to Talia and getting on her tippy toes, and softly kissing Talia, who smiled and kissed her back lovingly.
Looking into Talia's eyes, Hope spoke "I love you"
Gazing back down into her tribrids eyes, Talia smiled in return, and replied.
"And I love you"

That's the end of the chapter! Basically just a date and that's all.
This arc should be ending within the next 10-15 chapters or so, as I am beginning to realize
that slice of life is just...not something I'm good at writing, nor do I enjoy doing it constantly for 20+ chapters. So...yeah, sorry to those that wanted it to be longer. Talia will still be going on some dates with Clary and Isabelle though.
Anyways, have a good day!
