Chapter 112: Chapter 111: Red Tornado

[3rd POV] [Outside National City, Nearby Dessert]

"What do you mean you will not fight it?" A man asked Kara, a scowl on his face as she just finished telling him that she will not fight the robot. This man was General Sam Lane, aka the father of Lois Lane and Lucy Lane. He was also a major douche.

"It's exactly like a said, General Lane. I'm not going to fight it, but I have someone else who will" Kara responded to the rude man, causing Lucy, who was in her formal suit to frown.

"The President gave a very specific order for YOU to be the one to fight the android, not this unknown" Lucy said with a frown on her face.

"The president can't order me to do anything, when I'm not a member of the DEO. And trust me, they'll be a much better way of showing off this android than me" Kara responded with a small eye roll, knowing that the President couldn't order her to do shit, when she wasn't even a member of the DEO. She simply worked with them and that was all.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Scowling at the response, Lucy was about to speak before a bright flash of light caused them all to jump to their feet. "What the hell was that?" Lucy asked Kara, who grinned.

"That, that is the one I called" Supergirl said with a grin, as they walked out of the tent, finding a softly glowing Solaris standing there, the guns of the nearby soldiers aimed at her. "You called, Supergirl?" Solaris's voice sounded out, as they all watched her tensely. She was publicly known as an incredibly powerful Hero, perhaps even stronger than Supergirl. But what made them tense, was the fact that she had a massive group that followed her every order, one that was spread throughout the world, and was ALL superhuman.

"Yep! That's the android I told you about. You think you can fight it?" Kara asked as she walked forward, inwardly sighing at the warmth of the sun that Solaris gave off in waves.

"Hmm, should be easy enough" Talia spoke, the booming sound stopping, as she stared down the Red Tornado of this world.

'Hmmm, I have been meaning to work on my Robotics. Perhaps a robot army for myself could be useful' Talia thought, grinning under her helmet.

"Although I have to wonder, why the lead? Is this thing supposed to kill Kryptonians or something?" Talia asked, turning to the General as the weapons were lowered.

At this, several heads snapped to Lane, including his own daughters. "Y-You created this to kill me? That's why you want me to test it so bad! You want to see if it can actually kill me or my cousin!" Kara said with a rare look of anger on her face.

"You people have Fort Rozz aliens in the basement of your homebase. Monsters. Abominations. Some of them have wings. Some have horns. And others spit acid. Do you know the difference between them and you? You're blonde" Sam Lane responded, which to be fair...he did have a point.

Humans needed to create weapons to fight off aliens, but not like this, and not for Supergirl and Superman. They already had all the weapons needed to take them down, that was for sure. They were using them as an excuse to make a new weapon that can be used in War.

"As if the android would only be used against aliens, General" Talia said with a snort.

"Had the United States been dragged into a War, I am 100% certain you'd be mass producing Red Tornado and using it against other countries. The thing isn't just meant for Kryptonians, it's meant as a weapon of war, for war" Talia said, causing the man to go silent.

This got the man even more looks and frowns, especially from his daughter.

"Now, can I go beat up this Android now or no?" Talia asked, causing Sam to sigh and turn to the creator of the android, T.O Morrow.

"You can begin the tests, Morrow" Sam said, causing the man to smile in excitement while everyone else went back to the tent, leaving Talia standing across from the Android, alone.

Talia watched as the android powered up, with it's hands beginning to spin in order to create a small tornado. But...Talia wanted to be petty, so, without hesitation, she blurred and reappeared in front of the android.

Before it could even react, it's right arm was on the ground. Seeing the damage caused to it, the android immediately flew off, in order to save itself. It had self preservation

programming made to stop it from being destroyed.

"What did you just do!?" Sam Lane asked, causing Talia to turn to the man.

"Fought the android like you wanted" Talia responded, causing the man to growl.

"And now it's free in National City, and it's all your fault!"

"Who said I let it go?" Talia asked, before disappearing.

Seconds later, she reappeared, the crushed and completely destroyed head of Red Tornado in hand, with the rest "obliterated" in actuality, it was safely stored inside her dimension, ready to be reverse engineered and strengthened.

"Y-You destroyed it!" Morrow yelled, causing Talia to turn to the man.

"Yep, I destroyed it. Besides the fact that it was created to kill a good friend of mine. It, just as Lane said, was going to go to National City, so as a proper hero, I destroyed it before it could. Isn't that a good thing?" Talia said, causing Alex and Kara to crack small smiles, with even Hank trying not to show his amusement at the way Sam's face went red with anger.

That's the end of the chapter!

Not sure how well this was written, as I am kind of rushing a bit. As I might have to rush my dog to the vet, as he might have gotten into a pill he shouldn't have. (That was the case at the time of writing this chapter a couple of days ago. But he's all good now thankfully.

Next chapter will be longer and better to make up for this fact.

Anyways, have a good day!
