The Academy’s Secret Club [Part 3]
♠♠♠
Meanwhile, William was currently sneaking around outside an empty classroom, where the students had all left for lunch, while keeping watch on his surroundings.
If this was Japan of their previous world and William had the same mental age as his body, he would look like an adorable elementary school boy who had snuck a cat inside a classroom and came secretly to feed it. Though unfortunately, this was the Kingdom of another world, and William’s mental age was that of a thirty-something man with an Afro.
After scanning his surroundings carefully and confirming no one was around, William knocked on the classroom’s door.
“Password?”
A tense voice asking the visitor for the password replied from inside the classroom.
*Gulp…* William swallowed his saliva. He once again made sure no one was around before answering,
“Twin tails, moe sleeves, absolute territory.”
[T/N: I’d have to say congratulations if you can’t understand any of these. May you stay that way.]
The classroom’s door opened with a rattle, and several noble boys ushered William in.
“You’re late, President! You know well that our activities can only be held during lunch breaks…”
“My bad, Vice-President.”
*Phew* William put his bag on a desk, finally catching his breath.
‘Nee-sama must never find out about the existence of this club.’
That’s right. The shadiest of the shady clubs that Francesca warned about earlier, the club that could and would never reveal its activities existed right in this place.
Even its existence was kept secret from the public. The same goes for its name, [2D Girls Appreciation Society].
It was a healing oasis William created within the academy.
“I’ll jump straight into business. I’m holding a new work sent by my sworn friend, Mr. Carne Lombard.”
William took a sketchbook out of his bag.
“ “ “OOHHHH!” ” ”
The members inside the classroom erupted in cheers. “What we’ve been waiting!”
Carne Lombard.
Marquis Lombard’s second son, who graduated from the academy with flying colors two years ago.
He was a severe lolicon.
A year ago, he met Emma and William in the Marquisate of Valerie and got his preferences dragged back to the right path from 3D to 2D. A former future-criminal.
As fellow loli enthusiasts, Carne continued to exchange letters with William after he returned to the Royal Capital.
Carne, who had been back on the right track, had lost all hope in little girls and was now living an honest(?) life without laying his hands on real girls or causing the young girl serial murder case.
It was all thanks to William and Emma.
“This is the art collection of little girls’ paintings drawn by an artist under Mr. Carne’s patronage.”
The sketchbook was densely filled with pictures of little girls in pastel colors.
“Oh! OHH! This artist has improved his understanding of [moe] more than last time!”
“You’re right. And this pink blush added on the elbows is quite…”
“Oh ho, this… Is this the new concept introduced by President, [beast ears]? I see… Seeing is believing indeed.”
Carne provided financial support to painters in the Royal Capital. In return, they drew pictures of his ideal little girls for him. The painters started off by imitating the artifact drawn by Emma until they recently had grown to be able to draw original paintings of little girls.
William introduced such [moe pictures] to comrades he met by chance as a guide to a new life, as well as his own propagation activity.
At home, William was conscious of his sister’s below-freezing gaze, so he couldn’t relax and enjoy [moe pictures]. The only place he could exchange opinions without worrying about people’s eyes was William’s haven of rest.
“But compared to the artifact…”
“Uh-huh, it lacks [moe]…”
“President, are there no new artifacts?”
The paintings of Carne’s artists were by no means bad.
It was just, after seeing the artifact once, they couldn’t help but seek the same quality.
“I have tried many means, but this matter is the most difficult.”
William had to beg his older sister, Emma, to obtain a new artifact sought by all club members. Every time, she would stare at him like she was looking at a rotten orange and refuse.
‘Tch, Nee-sama. I know you have all sorts of drawings of His Majesty, Prof. Wolfgang, and Mr. Harold with different variations of expressions inside your desk drawer!’
