The Scum Is A ***

Xinfaxian, East. 

It was night. Lei Ling gazed at sky filled with stars that surrounds the moon. His condition is better than Zheng Yi. It's not that the others imprison him, so he can go out. 

Tonight is one of the nights he went out to take a breather. The sparsely populated is now filled with people from North, West, Central and South. The West, Xiwang, is fully under the control of Ming Ye. Only some fortunately people from the West that the Youxiwang Sect disciples, as well as the Huakai Sect disciples saved, managed to reach the East and take shelter. 

"It's a disciple of the Xinfaxian Sect!" someone exclaimed, followed by the rushed footsteps of the people. "Thank you very much for your sect's help, most especially Cheng Sheng!" they said and held Lei Ling's hand tight. They tearfully thanked them. 

Lei Ling smiled. "You're welcome. Our people are only small in number, but the land is vast. It is our duty to help the others. Please tell us if you still feel uncomfortable, or if you encountered problems. You can tell it to the sect." he told them and bowed, before he left. 

The group of people immediately returned to their respective shelter built for themselves. Lei Ling continued to walk around and smiled, feeling his chest warmed when he saw that the Xinfaxian citizens are giving food to the refugees. 

He didn't walk too far. Not because he is afraid, but because he met someone. That someone was standing not far away, and is looking at him. 

"Fourth young master Jing!" Lei Ling greeted and bowed as he walked towards the other. "What are you doing here at this hour? Did something happen in Zhongyang? How about our founder? Cheng-shixiong, da shixiong, Li-shixiong and Feng-shixiong? How about Chen-shixiong and Sun-shixiong - ?" he asked. 

The other cut him off by draping a cloak around his body. Lei Ling was taken aback and he looked at Jing Kang with widened eyes. "It's cold at night. What are you doing here at this hour?" Jing Kang threw back the question to him. 

Lei Ling was speechless. He just continued to stare at Jing Kang. After a while staring at each other, he took the initiative to speak. "Fourth young master Jing… did you purposely look for me?" he asked. 

"Yes." Jing Kang nodded. 

"Do you have something you wish to say to me?" Lei Ling asked again. 

"Yes." Jing Kang nodded again. 

"… do you like me?" Lei Ling asked as he stared at Jing Kang's eyes. 

"Yes." Jing Kang answered. 

"… pft!" Lei Ling laughed and bowled over. "Hahahaha! Fourth young master Jing, you're so easy to deceive!" he told him and laughed again. He purposely asked 'yes' questions, yet Jing Kang fell for it. "Geez!" he muttered and wiped the tears off of his eyes. "So, why are you looking for me?" he asked. He didn't take seriously his last two questions. 

"I have something to say to you." Jing Kang said. 

Lei Ling was surprised. "So, you really have something to tell me! What is it?" he asked. 

"I like you." Jing Kang answered. 

Lei Ling froze as he raised his head and met Jing Kang's gaze. He has always seen the other looking serious, but he never had seen him this serious before. Jing Kang's gaze is sincere, and he could see his reflection in those dark pupils. 

"I like you." Jing Kang repeated as he took out a bouquet of white, scented flowers and gently took Lei Ling's hands to give it to him. 

Lei Ling held his breath when he saw the closed buds of the flowers slowly bloomed, and a fragrant scent pervaded around them. "Night-blooming jasmine." He muttered when he felt the pain in his head subsided. 

Jing Kang nodded and held Lei Ling's hands tight. "I will kill Qi Ling. And then marry you." He told him before he lowered his head and kissed Lei Ling's lips. 

Lei Ling always takes a night walk because of headaches. Tonight, something happened during his night walk. Someone looked for him, confessed to him and gave him a bouquet of nice flowers that the fragrance can help subside his headache. Then, while he's still dazed, that someone proposed to him, and then kissed him. And, out of all the people, he never expected it would be Jing Kang. He had never had any expectations on himself, as he is just an average person. So, how can someone amazing like Jing Kang fall in love with him? He could still vividly remember that their first meeting, both of them left a bad impression to the other. 

Lei Ling closed his eyes as he felt the sensation of a very tender and pure kiss. Jing Kang had always been a gentleman, so his touches, his kisses, are gentle like his personality. He didn't notice that he was already smiling, and even responded to the other's kiss. Though clumsily, but both felt their hearts were touched because of their first kiss. 

"Ling Ling. Can I hear your response?" Jing Kang asked. 

Lei Ling. "…" not only is he calling me intimately, but he wanted me to immediately agree to his proposal?! They had just confessed to each other, but to immediately get married… although he was internally complaining, but a sweet smile can be seen on his face as he stared at that handsome before him. 

Geez… don't look at me with those eyes and that expression! I can't bear it! He thought when he felt his knees weakened from Jing Kang's affectionate gaze. "Answer me honestly. Have you been in a relationship before?!" he asked as he clung to Jing Kang while Jing Kang immediately held him by his waist. 

"No." Jing Kang honestly answered. "You are my first love, and my first kiss. I want you to marry me." He told Lei Ling. 

Lei Ling furiously blushed and he can feel his head was smoking. How can this guy (A/N: I seriously typed 'gay' first XD) be this eloquent, speaking words of love with such a serious face if he never had fallen in love before he met me?! 

Lei Ling knew the answer. Jing Kang is sincere. And that is why he feels soft every time he looks at Jing Kang. "Mn." He said as he buried his blushing face on Jing Kang's chest to hide. "I like you, too." He told him. 

Jing Kang's eyes widened. He doesn't expect that Lei Ling will really respond to him. That is why, he felt overjoyed that the other really responded, and honestly told him he likes him, too. "Ling Ling…" he breathed as he kissed the top of Lei Ling's head and closed his eyes. "I love you." He whispered and hugged Lei Ling tight. 

Lei Ling's eyes widened before his tears fell. How can he meet such a guy who sincerely likes him? He closed his eyes before he hugged Jing Kang tight. Then, he tiptoed, raised his head and met Jing Kang's lips.

Righteous Alliance, Zhongyang, Central Region. 

"AAAARRGHHH!!!" Qi Ling screamed as he pulled on the draperies around him. Some curtains that fell caught fire, but Qi Ling didn't care. His control over Zheng Fu Gong, Su Yuan and Jing Xian. Then, he also lost his connection with Zheng Yi and Lei Ling. "DAMN IT!" he cursed. Even the system that took him in this world had abandoned him. "DAMN IT ALL!!!" he screamed in frustration. His eyes fell on the two orbs in the interface of his system. He tried to touch them, but there was no response. "System (xi tong)! Don't play dead! Are you messing with me?! If I won't kill these two, then I'll die with injustice!" he said and frantically tapped on Zheng Yi's and Lei Ling's souls that the system absorbed and stored. "AAAAAAARRRRGGHHH!!!!" he screamed and fell on his knees when there was still no response from the system. Everything around him had caught in fire. 

He was like the demon in the middle of the fire. 

Yunxiao Inn. 

"Is what you said true?!" everyone was shocked when they heard the news of the Righteous Alliance caught in fire.

"Yes! Qi Ling's people are dousing the fire now since Qi Ling was trapped inside." Their scout answered. 

"What about the demonic cultivators?" they immediately asked. 

"The demonic cultivators are only working with Qi Ling since Qi Ling can be used by them to create troubles. However, they heard from somewhere that Qi Ling was abandoned and now useless, thus they are now fleeing to West." The scout explained. 

Everyone exchanged gazes. They don't know how was Qi Ling abandoned, but they have to seize the chance now! 

"Bring Zheng Yi and Lei Ling here." Cheng Sheng told Li Tian and Feng Mo. "Yu Sheng." He called. 

Yu Sheng nodded. "I'll protect the inn." He said. 

Cheng Sheng then turned to Zheng Fu Gong, Jing Rui and Xie Lan.
