​”Where’s my watch?” Su Ming feigned great concern. “That watch cost me a pretty penny; you better not have lost or damaged it.”

​”Relax, if it’s broken, I’ll pay for it,” Zhou Guozhi assured him with a casual smile. “But it’s just a high-quality replica of a Vacheron Constantin, worth maybe a couple thousand. I can cover that.”

“Are you certain?” Su Ming asked, still calm.
