Chapter 273 The Invigorating Victory

273  The Invigorating Victory

Bang!

Long Tian's fist connected squarely with Zhou Yan's face, sending him reeling backward, blood spurting from his nose.

With his mastery over gravity, Zhou Yan quickly regained his balance and immediately stomped the ground, causing the earth beneath him to tremble.

However, his expression darkened when nothing followed, realizing that his planned technique had failed as the ground, now miles away, was enveloped in Long Tian's dark energy. This darkness neutralized Zhou Yan's gravitational power, thwarting his attempt to manipulate the chunks of earth.

"Watch out!" Long Tian suddenly shouted, and a hand seized Zhou Yan's face, hurling him to the ground.

Bang!

The force of the impact reverberated through the back of his head, inflicting excruciating pain.

Then, the earth, now shrouded in darkness, seemed to swallow him whole, preventing him from rising.

"Now I've got you!" Long Tian declared with a grin.

With a clenched fist, he struck Zhou Yan's face, causing blood to gush from his nose. The barrage of blows continued relentlessly, each strike landing with greater force.

The sound of the onslaught echoed like a one-sided massacre, with Long Tian clearly dominating in physical strength, especially now that Zhou Yan's gravitational power was rendered useless against the darkness.

Blood sprayed, bruises adorned Zhou Yan's face as Long Tian mercilessly pounded him.

Gritting his teeth in fury, Zhou Yan cared little for the pain of being beaten, but the humiliation of being overpowered by someone younger crushed his pride.

However, no matter how he struggled to break free, Long Tian's physical prowess was overwhelming, and the darkness neutralized his gravitational power.

Meanwhile, within the expanded domain, a 100-square-meter space in the void, Leng Jiao and Fen Yuwen faced off against Alexia in a fierce 2-vs-1 battle.

The clash of their combat echoed with the intensity of punches, kicks, and supernatural abilities, portraying the ferocity of their confrontation.

Contrary to expectations in a 2-vs-1 scenario, Leng Jiao and Fen Yuwen appeared overwhelmed by Alexia's hellfire prowess.

At one point, Leng Jiao lunged forward to attack, only to be met with Alexia's fire fist, sending him crashing into the domain wall.

Fen Yuwen, undeterred, summoned a greatsword and charged at Alexia with determination.

As he closed in on his opponent, he swung his greatsword with a powerful strike.

'Gotha!' he thought as the blade made contact with Alexia's head, only to realize she had transformed into flames and appeared behind him.

His eyes widened in shock as he swiftly turned, but before he could react, Alexia's cold grip closed around his neck.

"Urkh!" he struggled to break free, but Alexia lifted him off the ground, leaving him helpless.

Witnessing this, Leng Jiao rushed to his friend's aid, despite his injured leg. "Let him go, you bitch!" he shouted.

In response, Alexia's hellfire blazed brighter, scorching Fen Yuwen's neck and head.

"AAAAAAARGH!" Fen Yuwen's screams filled the air as he writhed in agony. But his struggles ceased as the hellfire consumed his head, leaving behind only a charred skull.

With a grin, Alexia released Fen Yuwen's lifeless body. "One down, one left," she declared.

Leng Jiao stood frozen, his eyes wide with disbelief, trembling at the consequences he faced if he dared to oppose Alexia.

Once arrogant and unrestrained, he now found himself powerless, his pride only a facade bolstered by his friendship with Zhou Yan. But with his friend gone, he wondered what he could do.

"Fire fist!" Alexia shouted, conjuring a blaze in her fist and launching it toward Leng Jiao.

BLAST!

The fiery attack struck its target, sending Leng Jiao crashing into the domain wall. But unlike before, the flames continued to emanate from Alexia's fist, enveloping Leng Jiao in a scorching inferno.

For about 10 seconds, Alexia halted her assault, revealing Leng Jiao now reduced to a charred skeleton.

Seeing this, Alexia couldn't contain her excitement.

"Ah, so invigorating! Is this what victory feels like? It's been so long since I've tasted it!" she exclaimed joyously.

Leaving behind her status as a formidable cultivator for 20 years was no easy feat. Though she had forgotten the intricacies of cultivation, her power had returned, rekindling a sense of purpose within her. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Leaving behind her status as a formidable cultivator for 20 years was no easy feat. Though she had forgotten the intricacies of cultivation, her power had returned, rekindling a sense of purpose within her.

"Hmm, I wonder if Long Tian has bested Zhou Yan yet? Well, he's so strong; I need not worry about him," she mused to herself.

Alexia surveyed her surroundings, her eyes scanning the area in search of an exit from the domain. However, before she could locate one, the domain began to dissipate, swirling into a mist that enveloped everything. In a matter of moments, the space vanished entirely, leaving her plummeting to the ground in the vicinity of the temple.

As she landed, Alexia's senses heightened, detecting a strange dark energy emanating from the earth beneath her feet. She knelt down, her fingers grazing the ground, as she sought to understand the nature of the ominous energy swirling around her.

"This is Long Tian's power..." she muttered quietly to herself, her expression shifting to one of realization and concern.

The distant echoes of battle drew her attention, and she raised her gaze to the sky, where bolts of yellow lightning clashed with swirling dark purple energy. Two figures engaged in fierce combat became visible against the tumultuous backdrop: Long Tian and Zhou Yan.

"They're still fighting," Alexia remarked to herself, her eyes narrowing slightly as she observed the ongoing struggle. However, her focus soon shifted as she noticed another skirmish unfolding behind her.

Turning her attention backward, Alexia witnessed a confrontation between four dark souls and two enigmatic white creatures. The white creatures bore injuries that marred their once-human forms, their bodies displaying grievous wounds and missing limbs. Despite their battered appearances, they fought with unexpected ferocity.

Fascinated by the unexpected clash, Alexia observed the battle between the dark souls and the white creatures with a mix of curiosity and apprehension. She weighed her options, considering where her assistance would be most valuable in the unfolding conflict.

After a brief moment of contemplation, Alexia made her decision. With determined steps, she moved toward the fray, intent on aiding the dark souls in eliminating the mysterious white adversaries.
