Chapter 101: Chapter 101: A New World, Tickets Used, and New Level of Power



[3rd POV]

Reappearing with a flash of light, Gwen let out an amused smirk at the sight of her girlfriends groaning.

"Oh I think I might be sick" Korra groaned as she leaned over, causing Gwen to roll her eyes amusedly, before flicking her wrist, all the nausea disappearing within an instant. Breathing out, they all gave her thankful looks, before looking around.

"So where are we exactly?" Korra asked, turning to Gwen, as she truly had no idea where they were, as Gwen hadn't really shown her everything just yet. Sure, she had introduced her to technology and movies and stuff, but not to the same level as the other girls. But Gwen did plan on doing that soon.

Looking around, they all realized they were in some sort of alleyway, and it was night time.

"Hmm, seems we're in a city of sorts. How about we go and find a proper place to stay, and then I can tell you more on where we are, okay?" Gwen replied, causing them all to glance at one another, before nodding.

"Can you at least tell us the name of the universe we're in?" Artemis asked, causing Gwen to stare at her, before grinning and speaking.

"Oh definitely, it's name is...RWBY"

A little later into the night, the group was in a hotel room, after Gwen had mingled with some local folk, and reproduced the currency of this world, which was called "Lien" a simple currency that took her no difficulty in recreating. And with that, she had gotten a nice hotel room for all of them. A hotel room that they were all sat in.

"So what can you tell us about this universe?"

"Hmm, for one. The aura that you three use - and you soon will use - originates from this universe, or at least, the art in awakening it does" Gwen began, before continuing.

"This world is called "Remnant" and is being besieged by dark creatures known as grimm, these "Grimm" as they are called, are...kinda hard to explain fully, but think of them as monsters that are attracted to negative emotions. They're also evolving over time, and come in a wide range of shapes and sizes, and even species" Gwen continued.

"Are they naturally created? Or did something or someone create them?" Raven asked, causing Gwen to look at her before chuckling.

"Good quest, babe, and yes, they were created. By what is known as the "God of Darkness" and are currently being controlled by their Queen, known as Salem. She is...a whole other topic, and one I'll explain later on, as she's...complicated" Gwen said, remembering the life she held as Salem, or at least, the parts that she kept (she got rid of the sexual moments in her lives, as they were truly not needed).

"And I'm assuming the humans of this planet fight them off?"

"Mmhmm, the ones who fight them are known as "Huntress" and "Huntsmen", and are specially trained in aura and combat. Mainly at Schools specialized in the area, such as the one I am interested in going to, known as "Beacon". Also, it's not just humans here, there is also Faunus. They're a species with animal attributes, such as cat ears, and as you'd guess, there is some huge racism issues regarding them" Gwen said, remembering some of the truly awful shit that happened to them, and the loads of other crap that probably was too graphic to show in the original show.

"...Racism exists even here, huh" Artemis said with a scoff, as the girls frowned at this knowledge. None of them were ever going to look down on someone just because of their differences, and certainly not because they had animal attributes (which they thought was interesting/cool more than anything).

"Sadly it exists in just about every universe, Art. But, while this universe is going to be more relaxed and..."slice of life" I will be dealing with some of that, don't worry about that" Gwen said, causing them to smile.

"Especially considering I am technically a "Faunus" by this worlds standards, due to my true form"

"Wait, does this mean you can actually walk around in your true form?" M'gann asked, causing Gwen to nod.

"Yep! I plan on it. I could care less what a bunch of racists think about me. And Beacon is not accepting of racists, so I think I'll be fine" Gwen replied with a smile, as her true form flickered into form, as she let out a sigh, happy to be back in this form. Being in her human form wasn't uncomfortable or anything, it just...didn't feel right.

"Anyways, besides that, this world has some impressive technology in certain ways, but are far behind our world in others. Hell, Korra's world has some tech that even this place hasn't thought of yet. As they are overly dependent on this thing called "Dust" which is essentially crystalized magic, not that they know that. It's also a very powerful energy source, and as you'd expect, they use it in excess, which is leading to some serious issues in that department" Gwen explained, causing Raven to look at her in interest.

"Crystalized magic? That sounds...interesting. Could we get some of this dust?" Raven asked, causing Gwen to nod.

"Mmhmm. I believe I can produce it myself, but I'll have to get some of it in person to do so. This dust comes in a wide range of forms, ranging from fire, ice, electricity, to even things like gravity, so it can be a bit tricky to understand the magical makeup of it" Gwen responded. "How strong is this world?" Artemis asked, causing them all to look at Gwen, as this was a rather important question.

"Stronger than Korra's world, if that's what your asking. But in comparison to me? None of them are close, except the God's. Those two would require me to go serious, as they're the creators of this world, and that's something even I can't do just yet" Gwen replied, causing them all to sigh, happy to know that there wound't be too much danger in this universe, besides the Gods. And from the sounds of it, Gwen could beat them, it'd just be difficult.

"So, when are we going to this Beacon? It sounds pretty interesting, and I am so confused on half the crap you guys have been talking about" Korra asked, causing Gwen to chuckle softly.

"Yep, and I'll explain more for you tomorrow baby" Gwen replied, causing Korra to blush at the word "Baby" still unused to the loving tone of Gwen's, but not even remotely opposing it. "Oooh, does this mean this world has more interesting food to try?" Artemis asked as she realized something.

"...I suppose so. I honestly didn't even think about all the ingredients, plants, and food that is native to this place...thanks for reminding me" Gwen said with a blink, as she registered what

Artemis said.

The eyes of the others sparkled as they realized that Gwen might be able to make more unique food, and any food made by Gwen was good food in their eyes.

"Any questions?" Gwen asked, causing Raven to nod.

"How is this school done? Is it in classes or?"

"Teams of four. But I'm sure I can get us in a group together. And these teams go off the first letter of your names into a team name of sorts. I guess ours would be..."GRAMK"? But that sounds awful, so I'll be thinking of something better" Gwen said, cringing at the awful name

for their team.

"Probably for the best" Raven nodded, as the name was admittedly awful.

"For now though, I think it's best we all get some sleep, and then tomorrow I can get us into Beacon, or at least the entrance exam for it" Gwen said, causing them all to nod, soft yawns escaping the lips of Korra and Artemis, as they all prepared to sleep.

shit ton of noble phantasms, and a LOT of new abilities and knowledge. Enough to boost her into an entirely new realm of power.

Sighing as she read through it all, Gwen laid back in her bed, not being bothered to look into

all of it right now. She only had one more thought on her mind as she closed her eyes.

'System...assimilate them all'

That took...forever, like...way too long. Half the chapter was actual talking, and the other half

was her just getting all her characters. I can't really stop it from being that long so...sorry. Anyways, this will be the last time she'll use the tickets for a while, and the next time will probably be shorter.

Next chapter will not have any tickets used or anything, and will be shorter obviously. Around

1.4k words or so.
