Chapter 237 - She Was Vulnerable
"Well… that's because everyone is chill with me so I'm chill with them too." She replied, and spoke my mind, "So those rumours… they don't actively affect you, right?"
"Yes… it's just something they've in their minds. I'm pretty sure if there were no rumours about me, then I would've been getting treated a lot differently."
"You sure?" I asked her, and she replied with the certainty in her voice, "Yes."
I decided not to ask anything further because it sounded like she was quite firm on her beliefs.
"How come you're so unaffected by these rumours?" She asked me with a hint of disbelief in her eyes as I asked her, "Should I be affected?"
"No… I didn't mean that… you know?" She said with an annoyed pout and averted her eyes. I sighed and replied, "I don't find any reason to believe a vague piece of information about someone that clearly has no solid proof to back it up."
My answer seemed to be not to her liking as she stared at me for a while before breaking out in laughter and retorting, "Damn… what are you? A JSDF agent?"
I was a bit confused as to what part of it she found legible enough to crack a laugh at. I was staring at her blankly as she asked me in a curious tone, "What if the claims are real about me?"
"Are they real?" I asked her, and she replied promptly, "I won't tell you if it was."
"You're telling me now, so I would assume they're false." I nodded, as she lifted her index finger half way up with a confused look on her face, "Wait…"
"Yes, you played yourself." I said that with a straight face, but was caught off guard by Shiraishi whose hands moved onto the buttons on my shirt. She slowly started undoing them, as a smirk formed on her face and she said, "You must be aware… that I'm quite an easy girl to sleep with."
"Another one of those rumours…" I said in an annoyed tone, as her hands came to an abrupt stop and she asked without looking at me, "What if I was? You have a chance right now… why don't you take it?"
"I'm vulnerable."
"You're always vulnerable." I said, as I moved hands over her as she looked at me with smugness on her face and asked, "Don't tell me… you're a virgin?"
"Look at me… does it look like I get any action?" I sighed, as her hands opened my shirt wide, and her fingers rolled over chest slowly while she chuckled, "Don't worry… you'll get to experience something you've only seen in fiction yet…"
"Shiraishi… if I wanted to have sex with you… I would've said so." I said holding her hand from moving any further, as she looked at me with a surprised expression and asked, "Does that mean you don't want to have sex with me?"
That was a weird question that no one has ever asked me. Not that it was something people ask you randomly. I was a bit embarrassed , but to avoid the situation from progressing any further, I answered, "Not right now."
"Why won't you? Am I not attractive enough?" She asked with quite the persistence in her voice, as I grabbed her by the shoulders and sat up. Her was looking right at me, as I asked in a rather vague yet serious tone, "Why do you want to get railed so badly?"
"No… you're the first one who has ever declined this offer." She replied after a moment of silence.
So it appeared that I wasn't the first one she was doing these things on. I wondered whether Shig was one of them or not. Also it implies that she had done it with other boys considering none of them declined her offer.
She was sure hot, and the way she was sitting in front of me was quite tempting too. Her open hair, slightly exposed cleavage, shiny lips and foxy eyes.
It was something that I've never had experience of and I surely wanted to have some but that wasn't the time for me to think about the joys of losing one's virginity.
"Ok let me guess… most of the boyfriends you had left you after they had a taste of you?" I asked in a way which wouldn't sound much blunt. She stared at me for a while and let out a soft chuckle, "That's one way to put it."
"I see… the type of people you were dating..."
"You said I was nice? I'm not nice… it's just that they're bigger pieces of shit than me." I said while buttoning my shirt as she seemed to have a rather dumbfounded look on her face. Hitting her on the head lightly, I said, "And this is what I meant by valuing yourself more…"
She held her head without saying a single word and stared at me, as I shifted my eyes towards the notebook I was holding in one of my arms the entire time.
Shiraishi had a wry smile on her face, as she was sitting in front of me with her eyes staring into the book. It appeared like she was trying her best to divert her mind from what happened a few moments ago.
She was quite embarrassed about it and was trying her best to avert her eyes from me.
Shiraishi was a rather silly girl from inside despite her unusual personality.
"Here… read these notes. I made them in my free time, but these will be adequate for the exams." I said, handing her a notebook and breaking the awkward silence between us. Taking it from me, she replied hesitantly, "Tha...thanks."
"No problem… I'm glad I could help."
"You don't know if I'll use them or not." She had this awkward smile on her face. She was trying to lighten up the mood, as I gave her nod and said, "That's totally up to you, whether you wanna score good marks or bad."
Great! I ended up sounding like a typical teacher.
"Fair enough." She said with a click of her tongue. I looked outside the window which was covered with curtains and noticed that it was getting quite dark.
"Alright then… I'm leaving…" I said standing up and packing my belongings. Shiraishi called out to me, but stopped mid sentence for some reason, "Wai…"
"Huh?"
"Nevermind." She waved her arm, as she also stood up and stared at me indirectly.
I walked towards the door, and turned the knob open. Before opening the door, I gave her a last stare, and pressed on her, "I hope you'll keep in mind… the things I said today."
"Keep those in mind."
I didn't bother to elaborate because she was already aware of what I was talking about. Even if she wasn't, this would help her to actively think about this whether she wants it or not.
That day ended up becoming more useful than I expected.
