Soul for a Girlfriend?

I was looking at the figure of a very baffled Tsūmen who looked to be at his wit's limit. Narrowing his eyes, it appeared like there were several thoughts going on inside his head.

The memory override feature of the contract was quite weird at times like this. Sometimes it worked really well but sometimes it looked like the person in question still had some traces of the left over memory wandering in their brain.

"You're like dating her and stuff, but I can't seem to recall her class." He said in a hesitant tone while rubbing his chin between his index and thumb finger, as I chuckled slightly and replied, "First of all, look… me and having a girlfriend doesn't go well together.."

I did roast myself but it was the most effective way to get out of sticky situations like that. His eyes shifted towards me as he laughed and said, "I know that, you Virgin!" 

"Hai Hai, as if you're not one." I retorted back instantly as his smile faded into a dramatic sad expression and looking away, he said in a low voice, "That's not the point…"

This dude was so dramatic sometimes that I felt like drop kicking him from the second floor.

As we were joking around for a while, we decided to finally head towards the cafeteria. I turned towards Gaisen and called him out as he gave me a nod and stood up from his chair, walking towards us.

My eyes glanced towards the back door of the class as I noticed a figure of a girl walking towards me with a really unreadable expression on her face. Her face was one that I couldn't recognise so I assumed that she might be from another class and came to meet her friends in our class.

Not paying much attention to her, I looked back at Gaisen who was now standing in front of Tsūmen's desk while talking with him. As I got up from my chair and proceeded to walk towards the door, the girl suddenly appeared in front of me.

Her azure eyes were staring intently at me, as there was something strange about them. It appeared that she was quite sure about what she had come to do. There wasn't even a slight trace of confusion or hesitation in them.

Though the staring contest was going on for quite some time, I felt a bit awkward and looked over Tsūmen and Gaisen who looked just as confused as me. We all narrowed our eyes as it was the equivalent of saying, "What the fuck?" without actually saying it.

The girl was a bit taller than my shoulders, as she was wearing the full sleeve shirt whose sleeves were rolled up till her thin and pale forearms. The button near her chest was open as a little bit of her cleavage was visible from behind the ribbon which hung loose.

Her ginger coloured hair was tied up in a bun as a few strands fell in front of her face. She slowly started walking towards me as I stepped back but felt a desk behind me. Quickly turning my head, I glanced at her as she was already standing quite close to me.

I could see my reflection in her blue eyes as I narrowed my eyes at her and glanced at Tsūmen and Gaisen for help but they seemed to be talking with Kana who was also at me and this girl curiously.

"Do you need something?" I asked to ease up the unsaid tension between us. But without even saying a single word, I noticed her hand grab my tie and pulled me towards her. And before I could react, her lips were already touching mine.

My eyes grew wide in shock, as my palms went cold and my legs felt numb. I wasn't prepared for something like that as there was a strange feeling rushing all throughout my body. I tried to pull my head backwards, but she was pulling me down towards her.

Her soft lips were over mine, as I looked down towards her and eyes were closed with a bashful expression on her face. Her cheeks were tinted slightly in red, her I felt those loose strands of her ginger hair brushing on my cheeks.

What the fuck was wrong with this girl!?

She finally let go of my tie as my head instantly sprung back up and I looked at her with a shocked expression, while panting as my forehead was beginning to sweat slightly. I was looking at her with my mouth hanging open.

She narrowed her blue eyes, as the corner of her lips curved into a smug and she licked her lips while smiling at me. Pointing her index toward my chest, she said in a confident voice, "You're mine. That's all."

I looked at her in confusion while keeping my left arm up in front of my chest as a guard, she winked at me while waving with her right hand and walked out the classroom like nothing happened, while half of the class stared at her.

"You… you have a girlfriend like that!??" Kana asked in a hesitant tone as I could tell that she was shocked beyond belief. And it wasn't her fault since for a boy like me to get kissed in the middle of the class like that, it was actually a weird thing.

"I...uh…" I opened my mouth to say something, but my thoughts were working faster than my mouth so I was at a loss of words, as Tsūmen looked at me with wide eyes and asked, "Did that girl just do that?"

"I know… right?" Gaisen chuckled awkwardly with a slight pause in between his words as he glanced at me with narrowed eyes with a hint of suspicion in them. Looking at this expression, I immediately raised my arms up and admitted, "I don't know her!"

Who is that girl? 

Did she want to ask me out? If she did then that's one hell of a way to creep someone out.
