Senior Sister, Shut Up!

Chapter 123: Fleeting Moment

It was past ten at night. In the dimly lit living room, the table lamp on the coffee table was emitting a warm glow, and a man and a woman were talking.

“Junior Brother… hurry up…” Su Huaizhou, biting her lip, was kneeling on the couch, shyly waiting for Junior Brother to take a photo of her.

“Almost done. Senior Sister, please bear with it.” Jiang Miao changed angles several times but wasn’t quite satisfied yet.

“Are you done?”

“I’m looking for the right angle. Soon.”

“… Still not done?”

“Senior Sister, can you lower your waist a bit?”

“Don’t push it…” Su Huaizhou glared at him.

“This is my first time doing this. I want to get it perfect.” Jiang Miao stood by the coffee table, holding his phone, blinking innocently.

“… Like this?” She lowered her waist and asked timidly without turning her head.

“Almost. Senior Sister, your face is really red.”

“It’s all your fault… Wait… Don’t touch!” Su Huaizhou’s face turned bright red when she felt Junior Brother’s large hand pressing the skin of her lower back. She hurriedly tried to stop him.

“I’m just helping you. Lower your waist. Yes, like that.”

“Ah…” A shy, embarrassed sound escaped the girl’s lips.

Finally, Jiang Miao took the photo and stood up. “I’m done.”

“Phew…” Su Huaizhou breathed a sigh of relief, feeling finally free from an ordeal, her entire body ready to collapse.

It was just a photo, but it felt like she had been through an intense battle.

Seeing Junior Brother approaching with the phone, she quickly picked up the bathrobe from the floor and wrapped it around herself.

In an instant, the beautiful scenery disappeared, and Jiang Miao felt like the room’s light had dimmed a little.

“Let me see.” Su Huaizhou held the bathrobe tightly over her chest with one hand and reached out to take her phone from Jiang Miao with the other. She immediately opened the photo album.

Jiang Miao also sat on the couch. While Senior Sister was checking her phone, he reached out to hug her slender waist and pulled her into his embrace.

The girl’s soft body was still emanating an alluring fragrance. When he hugged her, he felt as though his entire body was sublimating.

“Why are there so many?!” Su Huaizhou exclaimed when she opened the photo album and saw the screen full of her in the JK uniform. Her eyes widened, and she glared at Jiang Miao with a pout. “Didn’t we agree on six?!” Ŗ

“Yes, but I was worried the angle might not be good, so I took a few more of each pose,” he said thick-skinnedly. “This way, it’ll be easier for you to choose the best ones, Senior Sister.”

“Hmph!” She nudged him in his arms. “You’re just being shameless.”

“It’s because you’re too beautiful. My hands didn’t listen to me.”

In response, she took his hand and patted it twice fiercely in mock punishment.

“Senior Sister, can you send me a few?” Jiang Miao asked shamelessly as he took out his phone.

“You wish.” Su Huaizhou looked at the photos again and had to admit Jiang Miao did have a bit of talent for taking photos. His choice of angles made them surprisingly captivating.

Although she was clearly very shy, in the photos he took, she appeared with a hint of hesitation, looking bashful with an almost teasing allure.

How could she send these photos to Junior Brother?

The thought of him sneaking a look at these photos late at night to do something bad was too embarrassing.

“Senior Sister, which one do you plan to draw?” Jiang Miao asked curiously.

“Anything works, I guess? They all seem pretty good,” Su Huaizhou said after scanning through the photos a few times and finding that Junior Brother really knew how to choose poses. She couldn’t decide which one to pick. “Which one do you want?”

“Me?” He thought about it and then pointed at the screen. “This one.”

“Huh?” She was stunned, not expecting Junior Brother to choose the first one.

It was a photo of her sitting upright on the couch with her legs together, leaning slightly at her knees.

Su Huaizhou had been certain that Junior Brother would choose the last one, the most embarrassing shot.

If he had picked that one, she had already planned to act a little resistant, make him plead a bit, and then reluctantly agree in the end.

She already had the whole script in her head.

But Junior Brother didn’t follow the script at all!

“Why didn’t you choose another?” Su Huaizhou looked suspicious and puzzled.

“Because Senior Sister belongs to me and me alone.” Jiang Miao tightened his embrace and buried his face in her soft hair. “Character illustrations are for all the readers, so it’s better to keep them modest.”

“How can you be so petty?” She didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. She felt that Jiang Miao had become a little jealous vinegar jar, but her heart felt sweet.

“I’m only petty when it comes to you.”

“Always with the sweet talk.” Su Huaizhou couldn’t stop the smile from forming at the corners of her lips. She couldn’t resist Junior Brother’s sweet words at all, but she still explained, “The character designs are all originals, not based on me. It’s just copying the poses and clothing styles.”

“I know.” Jiang Miao nodded. “But let’s stick with this one anyway. I don’t think the others will get past the review.”

“You have the nerve to say that?” She rolled her eyes at him. “Then why did you choose those poses in the first place?”

“Who knows if I’ll get a chance like this again. Of course, I have to make the most of it,” he replied with a grin. He wrapped his other arm around her and pulled her onto his lap. Curious, he asked, “Senior Sister, did you buy this outfit just to wear for me?”

“You’re so vain. I didn’t buy it for you.”

“Then how did you get it?”

“I-I bought it myself…” Su Huaizhou stammered, suddenly feeling guilty.

“You bought this?” Jiang Miao looked surprised. “Senior Sister, there’s no way you’d wear this outside, right? Did you just dress up at home to admire yourself?”

“You’re the one who’s vain!” Su Huaizhou was flustered. “I bought it to gather material! Did you forget? I even asked you for feedback on that piece two years ago.”

Jiang Miao: “?!”

“You bought it to wear for reference?”

“It’s all for gathering material…”

“Senior Sister.” Jiang Miao looked serious. “If you need to get material again in the future, you must wear it for me to see. I’ll give you thorough feedback!”

“Go to hell! You just want to see me in those clothes!”

“No, I just want to see you, Senior Sister.”

“You really have the cheek to say that?!” Su Huaizhou blushed and pushed him away in amusement. “You shameless flirt.”

“If I can see you gather material, what’s the use of having shame?”

“Hmph, I won’t show you anything.” She slipped out of his embrace and ran to her bedroom. “Didn’t you say you wanted to take a shower? Hurry up and go.”

Watching Senior Sister walk into her room, her bathrobe half-open, Jiang Miao took a deep breath to calm himself… Nonsense!

How could he calm down?

Today, Senior Sister had hugged him and kissed his face, and she had even treated him to a stunning display of a sexy JK uniform. No man could withstand it.

If not for his strong willpower, he probably would have already knelt under Senior Sister’s skirt.

Jiang Miao sighed and walked into the bathroom to take a shower. Better take matters into my own hands.

After showering, Jiang Miao walked out in the gray bathrobe, feeling refreshed as if he had shed a heavy weight.

Just as he was wondering if it was time to return to the dorms, he took out his phone and was taken aback.

10:47 p.m.

When did it become so late? Jiang Miao felt a surge of happiness.

He walked to the master bedroom door and knocked on it. “Senior Sister, the dorms are already closed.”

Su Huaizhou opened the door a crack, revealing half of her exquisite face.

“It’s already this late?” She looked surprised. “What should we do?”

“Should we hurry back?” Jiang Miao asked. “While the dorm aunties haven’t fallen asleep yet.”

“Why don’t we forget it?” Su Huaizhou said with a red face. “It’s not good to disturb their rest.”

“Okay…” Jiang Miao felt that it made sense. “I guess I’ll have to trouble you tonight again, Senior Sister.”

“It’s no trouble. The guest bed and blanket are still there. You can sleep right away.”

“Actually, your bed is so big…”

Bang!

The door slammed shut.

Well, looks like that won’t work. Jiang Miao chuckled helplessly, not feeling too anxious.

Although he had already shared a bed with Senior Sister twice, the first time was due to unavoidable circumstances in the dorm room, and the second time felt more like a response from her when her father visited her home.

Neither of these situations were normal.

With this thought in mind, Jiang Miao poured himself a glass of water, walked into the guest bedroom, and sat down at the computer desk.

Since he had nothing to do anyway, he figured he might as well go online.

[Ten Thousand Words a Day Writing Group]

[I Am the Immortal Emperor]: (I Dominate All Under the Heavens.doc)

[I Am the Immortal Emperor]: Big shots! Help me look at the beginning!

[Cat in the Snow]: Wow, are you really diving into fanfiction now?

[I Am the Immortal Emperor]: I’ve come to terms with reality…

[White Rice Vinegar]: I told you long ago that it’s the easiest for newcomers to take off writing fanfiction on Xidian.

[I Am the Immortal Emperor]: But transitioning is the hardest part!

[White Rice Vinegar]: That’s why I didn’t stop you from writing original stories before. If you manage to finish something, it’s a good thing.

[White Rice Vinegar]: But since you couldn’t produce anything decent, don’t think about transitioning now. Just focus on making money first.

[I Am the Immortal Emperor]: Didn’t I write it?! Quick, help me take a look, Great Vinegar!

[Cat in the Snow]: When he’s not useful, it’s Dog Vinegar. When he’s useful, it’s Great Vinegar.

[I Am the Immortal Emperor]: Cat, shut up! Don’t try to sow discord between me and Vinegar!

[Peach Jam]: (Screenshot: [I Am the Immortal Emperor]: Dog Vinegar! Thirty years east, thirty years west! Just wait. I’ll become a big shot author next year and cut off your dog head!)

[I Am the Immortal Emperor]: ???

[Cat in the Snow]: The true face of Immortal has been revealed.

[Ao 10K:] Daily 10,000 Word Count Taskmaster invites you to the Orange Melon Word Sprint. Target: 15,000 words. Room: Flattering Villain.

[White Rice Vinegar]: Ao 10K’s room names are always thought-provoking.

[Peach Jam]: Indeed.

[I Am the Immortal Emperor]: Great Vinegar! I’m innocent!

[White Rice Vinegar]: Stop messing around. I checked the beginning. Let’s chat privately and start cutting.

[I Am the Immortal Emperor]: Be gentle with me, Great Vinegar.

As the two of them went to chat privately, the group fell silent without the lively Immortal.

Jiang Miao wandered around other author group chats, especially the high-quality work group he had joined just a few days ago. He was starting to get familiar with the members.

Because the big shots almost mistook him for a girl, he had to make a slight change to his handle.

Sometimes, living like this was quite tough.

[Zhouzhou Loves Congee]: Sisters, I’m staying home tonight. I’ll be back tomorrow.

[Yuelian in the Mist]: Hehe.

[I Am Studying]: Hehe.

[Silky Candy]: What’s going on?

[I Am Studying]: She’s obviously having a tryst with Junior Brother.

[Zhouzhou Loves Congee]: How can you slander my good name out of thin air?!

[I Am Studying]: Oh, she’s panicking~

[Yuelian in the Mist]: Wang Xin from their dorm room is on my debate team. Should I ask him if Jiang Miao is in their room?

[Zhouzhou Loves Congee]: Yueyue! Don’t, don’t!

[I Am Studying]: Tsk, tsk, tsk~

[Silky Candy]: Zhouzhou, did you get a room with Junior Brother? Moving so fast?

[Zhouzhou Loves Congee]: Absolutely not! He’s just staying at my place for the night!

[I Am Studying]: Wow~ Bringing him home to meet your parents already?

[Zhouzhou Loves Congee]: My parents aren’t home!

[I Am Studying]: Hiding your beauty in a golden house! Zhouzhou, you really know how to play~

[Zhouzhou Loves Congee]: I’m not!

[Zhouzhou Loves Congee]: It’s his birthday today, so I brought him home to celebrate!

[I Am Studying]: And then you seduced Junior Brother into your bed, grabbed his collar, licked his ear, and blew in it. “Tonight, Senior Sister is your birthday present~”

[I Am Studying]: I’m dead~~

[Zhouzhou Loves Congee]: Shen Yu, go to hell!

Su Huaizhou’s face was red as she looked at her phone, about to die of anger from her annoying roommates.

[Yuelian in the Mist]: Stay safe.

[Silky Candy]: Exactly. Zhouzhou, you should be careful. Remember to buy protection.

[Zhouzhou Loves Congee]: I’m done talking to you all!

Meanwhile, Jiang Miao only mentioned in the dorm room group chat that he wouldn’t be returning tonight.

Chen Haoshang and Wang Xin weren’t nosy people. The former didn’t respond at all, while the latter merely replied OK.

However, Xun Liang had a lot of pent-up energy after breaking up with his girlfriend, and his gossipy heart was burning.

But Jiang Miao just ignored him.

He was quite experienced in this regard. Anyway, he couldn’t explain things clearly no matter what, so he might as well not explain from the beginning.

If Xun Liang found out he was staying at Senior Sister’s place, he might conjure up an elaborate narrative of tens of thousands of words on the spot.

“Junior Brother…”

While Jiang Miao was happily chatting, he heard Senior Sister’s voice outside the door.

“What’s up?” He got up to open the door and saw Su Huaizhou standing outside in her bathrobe.

“Are you hungry?” she asked. “I’m kind of craving a late-night snack. Should we order something?”

“Senior Sister, what do you want to eat?” He followed her to the living room. “We still have some cake left from earlier.”

“How is that a little bit enough?”

“There’s still rice in the pot, and there’s some pork and eggs in the fridge.” Jiang Miao walked to the kitchen and looked around. “Senior Sister, do you want egg fried rice?”

“What about stir-fried pork?” Su Huaizhou replied, her expression one of hunger.

“That works too.” He chuckled, feeling that Senior Sister was really obsessed with stir-fried pork.

After twenty minutes, he prepared a plate of stir-fried pork and two bowls of egg fried rice, and they sat at the dining table again.

Su Huaizhou happily devoured the steaming stir-fried pork and egg fried rice, feeling her stomach warm up.

When she looked at Junior Brother opposite her, her gaze softened, as if life had suddenly gained many more colors.

If she could continue like this with him, it would truly be wonderful.

It turned out that liking someone meant nothing more than wanting to be together forever.

Su Huaizhou had never believed it before, thinking that such beautiful love only existed in the fantasies of novels.

But now, with Junior Brother right in front of her, she had no choice but to believe it.

“Is it good?” she asked.

“Senior Sister, shouldn’t I be the one asking you that?” Jiang Miao laughed. “I made all of this, so of course it’s good.”

“Then I’ll try it too.” Su Huaizhou extended her spoon into his bowl of egg fried rice, quickly scooped out a spoonful, and stuffed it into his mouth. “Mmm~ it really is good.”

“Then I’ll try yours too.” Jiang Miao also grabbed a spoonful of Senior Sister’s egg fried rice.

From this point on, the two of them completely swapped bowls and enjoyed the egg fried rice from each other’s bowls.

Even though it all came from the same wok, the flavor was somehow elevated to a whole new level.

It was truly magical.

“Junior Brother…”

After finishing dinner and washing the dishes, they returned to their respective rooms.

It was almost midnight, time to go to bed.

“Goodnight, Senior Sister,” Jiang Miao said as he turned the handle of the guest room door.

“Yeah… Goodnight.” Su Huaizhou nodded, biting her lip as she watched Junior Brother’s back.

The moonlight slipped in from the balcony, casting a gentle glow on the boy and girl parting at the doorway.

The boy had already opened the door, ready to enter.

But the next moment, his hand was pulled back.

“Senior Sister?” Jiang Miao froze for a moment and turned around.

Just as he was puzzled, the exquisite face of Senior Sister rapidly filled his vision.

It grew larger until he felt a soft, sweet, and enticing touch on his lips, and his mind went blank.

Like the moonlight on the floor, he stood there, dazed.

But it was only a fleeting moment. Su Huaizhou blushed and quickly turned around to escape into her bedroom, closing the door with a bang.

“J-Junior Brother, don’t misunderstand! This… this is also a birthday present!” She seemed to have exhausted all her courage by loudly declaring this excuse.

Leaning against the door frame, her entire body felt hot and tingly as she slid down and collapsed onto the floor.

Ah… I actually kissed him… Su Huaizhou touched her lips, a charming and bashful smile spreading across her face.

So amazing…

It feels like a dream.
