Chapter 66 Three Cages of Soul Servant
Annie was getting a lot of compliments and congratulations from people who bet a lot on her. The woman turned her head to the top front, looked towards the second floor, and saw Aaron wasn't there, which was enough to confuse her.
'Where is he?' Annie asked.
After she cast her eyes over the surrounding area, she found Aaron talking with Francesca in the Sky Sword audience row.
The two seemed to be talking intensely about something. Annie had no idea what they were talking about.
'What are they talking about?' Annie asked.
Slowly, Francesca left the Sky Sword audience. People followed behind with their proud Sky Sword flags. Aaron was still silent, watching her leave with a sharp gaze.
Annie broke away from the crowd and left the arena. She took the stairs to the second floor and walked over to Aaron.
Aaron turned his head to the side, seeing Annie walking towards him with a smile on her face.
"Aaron. Did you see my battle? What do you think?" asked Annie, smiling confidently.
Aaron responded with a nod, admitting that Annie's skills exceeded his expectations. She defeated Jasper in less than two hours of fighting, even holding back the power of someone else's soul to control Jasper's body.
"Your battle was amazing. It's only natural that you managed to retain the title."
"Are you interested in fighting me? Of course, you don't have to pay to challenge me."
"If you can beat me, I'll give you 10000 RL."
'She's on a high confidence streak. It would be bad for her mentally if I challenged her to a battle, especially since she has already finished a tiring battle.'
'It's easy for me to defeat her,' Aaron replied.
Aaron chose to shake his head, not wanting to be conspicuous and attract people's attention. His current situation was enough in his favor; his main purpose was simply to move up a floor in the next raid.
"You must be exhausted; your magic energy must be drained greatly. We should go home and rest," Aaron said.
Aaron's answer dissatisfied Annie; the smile originally plastered on her face began to fade and turned wry.
The woman stared at Aaron with a suspicious look. She was curious enough about Aaron's true abilities.
But, what Aaron said was true. Jasper turned out to be stronger than what Annie had thought. If she insisted on challenging Aaron, her chances of losing would be much greater, affecting her credibility in front of her supporters.
"Alright. Since you asked, we'll go," Annie replied.
Just before Annie and Aaron walked away, Nicole carried a wooden box. He was about to give Annie the wooden box as the betting money and prize for winning the battle - conventional money.
"This is your reward for winning the battle. The amount is about 17500 RL," Nicole said.
Annie accepted the box and opened it. There were 17 medium-sized black bags and one small black bag in total. The total aligned with what Nicole had said; Annie stored it in her digital storage.
"Thank you. Tell them I'm taking a month off if anyone else challenges me again. Decline everything during my time off. Do you understand?" asked Annie. Nicole smiled as he nodded slowly, fully understanding Annie's request.
After getting the box, Annie and Aaron left the arena to return to Annie's residence. The people inside the arena also left to return to their homes, Annie and Jasper's match being the day's final match.
"Aaron."
Someone was heard calling his name from behind. Aaron stopped his walk for a moment and looked behind him quickly. The voice sounded familiar in his ears.
'Aerith?'
Sure enough, as Aaron expected, a dimensional rift appeared on the forest road ground and displayed the conditions inside a typical dark Dimension with a sea of space stars.
From inside, Aaron saw a woman with red hair and a black dress arrive and smile to greet him.
"Hello, Aaron."
Annie heard the voice and reflexively looked back. To her surprise, she found a mysterious person approaching Aaron, a woman with strong energy fluctuations emanating from her body.
The woman acted cautiously, brought out a magic sword from her right hand, and went in front of Aaron, protecting the young man from danger.
Aerith smiled bitterly. It turned out that Aaron had another woman willing to protect him.
"I didn't come to kill him. I came to take him away," Aerith said.
"Where?"
"A place you don't need to know."
Annie became increasingly suspicious of Aerith's presence. She focused her magic energy on the sword she was holding. Aerith didn't hesitate to show her magic skills to the woman.
Aaron didn't want a fight between them to happen. He patted Annie gently on the shoulder and said Aerith's arrival wasn't bad for her.
"Calm down. She's my friend; she won't hurt me," Aaron replied.
"You can leave first, Annie. I'll catch up with you," Aaron said, stepping forward past Annie.
Aerith began to calm down, the purple magic in her hands fading away while allowing Aaron to arrive at the Dark Dimension. The Dimensional Rift disappeared after Aerith and Aaron stepped inside.
Gone! Annie couldn't feel the fluctuation of magic energy from Aaron or Aerith. Her forehead frowned, curious about Aaron's true background.
"I should ask Isabella and Sokia. She might know about the woman."
The two arrived at the Dark Dimension. Aaron remained silent while looking forward, watching the three red cages that had been displayed on the floor full of stars. Aerith invited Aaron to step closer.
"Can I get another soul servant?" asked Aaron. Aerith stood beside the three cages with a smile and responded with a nod.
"I have prepared three soul servants you can choose from. Of course, you can't take all three at once."
"They have SS rank talent."

'SS rank? That's higher than Jack and Rasputin. I should choose a servant with the attacking servant type,' Aaron replied.
Aerith saw Aaron's face break into a wide smile, as if he were imagining something interesting in his mind.
The woman certainly realized that soul servants with SS rank talent were much better than S rank talent servants, especially their strength.
"Can I see the identity of the soul servant?" asked Aaron. Aerith happily invited Aaron to walk closer.
Aaron reached his hand forward, directly touching the wall of the red cage containing the soul servants who could be subdued and summoned. He did it one by one to find out the servant's identity.

The first cage contains a soul named Tamerlane, who has a soul level of 25 and a talent in the form of Typhoon Storm. Tamerlane's talent rank was SS-R. From what Aaron saw, it was certain that Tamerlane was an offensive-type servant.
He tried to touch the second cage to find out what was inside; another panel appeared right before Aaron's face.

'Army Project? What is it? What kind of talent is that? Can he summon thousands of soldiers with his talent alone?'
What an interesting talent with the SS-R rank. Aerith really provided a servant that was able to catch his attention.
As for Genghis Khan himself, Aaron guessed his type was support. He could either offense or defense well.
Then, he pressed the third or last cage again. Another panel appeared and read the soul's identity trapped in the cage.

"How was it? Are you interested in taking one of them?" asked Aerith, trying to confirm with Aaron.
"The soul identities of these three soul servant cages are interesting enough. I'll probably pick one of them that might be suitable for me."
"Then what is it?"
"I choose Genghis Khan!"n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
