Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 317 Immortals

With Carmen having a misconception of him cheating, Xu Feng decided to be honest with her, albeit in message form.

They weren't in a private room where the walls were soundproof. To ensure information wasn't stolen by potential eavesdroppers or nearby passersby.

Xu Feng decided to use the message conversation to explain the exploits.

This isn't called being paranoid, but being cautious when involved in something major.

Sure enough, Carmen breathed a sigh of relief after reading the message.

"You've really scared me there for a while, Guild Leader." She said bitterly.

Meanwhile, Xu Feng mused as he responded with a tease, "Why would you be scared anyway? Even if it was cheating, only I would be banned since I'm the culprit whereas you're kept in the dark. At most, they would just penalize you."

"Sometimes you're an ignorant person." Carmen pouted and no longer bothered to converse with him. Instead, she opened up her game forum to check for some gossip news.

As for Xu Feng, he shrugged and started walking to the small pit. By now, most of the herbs had been burnt up, and Xu Feng knew he needed to restock it.

However, he didn't begin right away.

"The monsters underground should be alerted by the poison now." He mumbled.

This kind of glitch exp was amazing, but the problem required different interconnected points. Hence, Xu Feng needed to check which monsters he killed the most to determine the next area he needed to dig.

Thus, he opened his map and noticed the recent monster slain were 50-70 meters away from their current position. These monsters retreated from the source after having witnessed their companion poisoned to death.

With this new data collected, Xu Feng grinned and he found the next area to unleash the poison.

"Let's go, Carmen." Xu Feng collected the remnants of the burnt herbs that could still be used.

"We're leaving already?" Carmen, who had been focused on the game forum posts, was dumbfounded. She didn't expect the glitch exp to be completed so soon, especially when he said it was infinite.

"Yes, we're moving to another place to gain more experience points." He responded, unaware of her inner thoughts.

"Oh…" Carmen's mouth had an "O" shape as she realized they were merely moving to another location.

"But what about this small pit then?" She then pointed at the smoke-filled small pit. Although the poison toxicity had lessened tremendously, just leaving it there would still harm innocent passersby.

"No need, I'll camouflage with nearby leaves. The poison is still lingering and will affect the monsters. As for players and NPC, it's not that harmful to them." Xu Feng explained, and reminded Carmen how she had her resistance increased.

However, Carmen was still unsure if it was right for them to leave it there.

"Not many people are qualified to come to Paradise Plains, Carmen." Xu Feng smiled.

Just when he was about to continue further, a commotion occurred in the front.

"I was wondering which bastard was spreading poison, so it was you two eh."

"Truly gutsy people we have here. How dare you use poison and harm us?"

From afar, two fierce-looking people sneered coldly upon spotting Xu Feng and Carmen.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"What should we do now, Guild Leader?" Carmen reacted like a little kitten who got caught doing naughty things by its owner and hid under Xu Feng.

Meanwhile, Xu Feng wondered if her personality was polarizing. Sometimes she was fierce and sometimes she was afraid and cowardly.

Though the truth was Carmen wasn't afraid of them being strong, but rather being caught doing bad things. In other words, it was the guilt that made her cower and not the fact that her opponent was strong.

"Oi, do the two of you think we don't exist?" One of the people asked in fury when he noticed he was being ignored.

"Give me a moment," Xu Feng waved his hands annoyedly, seemingly treating these two as irrelevant side characters.

"Carmen, you need to stop this bad trait of yours. It's fine to have some guilt, but don't let it consume you."

"But we indeed poisoned them in the process of experience farming…"

"So what? Right and wrong were always a gray spot. We're in the Divine World, where the strongest and richest decide."

"R-Richest?"

"Watch me," Xu Feng smirked and walked toward the two people.

In response, the two people were amused by his confidence. They were both strong fighters, and could easily tell how weak Xu Feng was.

Thus, they didn't think Xu Feng would be foolish enough to attack them.

Naturally, Xu Feng didn't plan on confronting them directly, having deduced they were a Gunner and Berserker respectively.

The Gunner was lean and sharp-eyed, dressed in tactical gear and light armor for mobility. Ammunition filled his bandolier, and gadgets lined his belt, with his hands resting near his holstered guns.

The Berserker, on the other hand, was a massive, muscular man with a broad frame. His heavy, battle-worn armor bore scars, and a huge battle axe hung on his back. His rugged face, framed by wild hair and a thick beard, gave him a fierce, almost barbaric appearance. Find more to read at empire

"Have you inspected enough, weak man?" The Berserker held his battle axe and questioned angrily.

"How do you plan on compensating us?" His companion, the Gunner asked slyly.

Although the two could easily kill and rob them, their instincts were telling them not to proceed with it. Additionally, they could somewhat confirm these two were immortals. As Tier 3 fighters, their senses were more sharp and could discern that Xu Feng and Carmen were relatively different based on the mana fluctuation.

Immortals referred to people blessed by the god, which was the system in the case of Xu Feng and Carmen.

Thus, they knew killing them would only create more problems for them if these immortals revived and decided to complain in Paradise Plains.

"My poison usage was not meant to target you two gentlemen, but it's not a bad result either." Xu Feng smiled lightly, not a bit afraid of their aura.

"Hmph, so you really seek death." His words enraged the Berserker, who was already on the verge of swinging his axe.

So what if they were immortals?

He might as well kill them over and over again if he met them again.
