Chapter 2390: Prep



The announcement is made.

Every academy called for immediate meetings. They all started strategizing. Sam was also called for a meeting. Unlike the other academies, there are not many people in the Gambler academy's meetings. In fact, there are only five people.

Wharton, Ling Tian, Dove, Sam and a third-grade student called York. He is supposedly the current representative of the third grade team.

"We only called you three because, we are not going to micromanage the activity of all our students for this conquest, which seemed to be what the other academies are doing. Most of our students can go.

The people that joined the representative teams are selected from a bunch of volunteers. The rest of them had their own goals.

Of course, we did request these independent students that they shouldn't disrupt the activities of the representative teams and give them some help or updates if needed. That is also a two way street. If the students felt like they need some desperate help or need some guidance in solving a pinch, they will come to you for help and you would do it.

We have separately discussed what all the things you need and the arrangements have been made.

Now, this meeting is just for you, the student representatives to get a better idea on how this conquest is going to work.

As you have heard, there are hundred worlds for each grade. So, three hundred worlds in total for the students. That covers until the Divine plane transcendence. Going further, there are a hundred more worlds. Twenty five for each sub-cultivation stage in the Divine Plane consummation. Lastly, there are ten special worlds. To have a smooth run in this world, one has to be on the highest ends of the Demi-god state, which means the highest level of the Divine plane consummation one can be.

So, this one is mostly made for the Deans and Grand elders and even they will have a lot of trouble.

The list of all these worlds are displayed at the exchange center. For this purpose, that long closed exchange center has been expanded and there is a separate counter now. You can check out the brief description of the worlds before you choose to enter.

Of course, there are some special conditions for some of the worlds.

For example, one of the worlds specifically mentioned that a special reward will be given if the conquest is done through sword.

In that case, the contribution their sword brought in that conquest will receive extra merit. There is one fiery world that stated that conquering this and establishing themselves as ice monarch will gain more points.

Take note of these special conditions when you choose a world.

Another important thing is the point calculation system. You already know how it will be evaluated if you are conquering a world at your level.

But there is also another condition here. If you as an individual go to a world of a higher level than you, you will get higher rewards. However, this factor of multiplication is not fixed. The rewards like this are variable for each world and they will be revealed only when you attempt to enter them.

"Now, about how these things play.

The portals for all these worlds will be opened in all the academy regions. There is no common entry and exit point for all the students. If you enter the portal here, you will fall in a random place within the world that you entered.

You can use a special token given to you to escape.

However, if you use the token to escape while you are in the fight or when your life is at stake, then you can not longer enter that particular world.

You can enter others, but you won't be able to enter that particular world. So, keep in mind when you use it.

Of course, that doesn't mean you can use it limitlessly just because you used it in a harmless time. Even in those situations, you have only three uses. After the three are up and you are using it for the fourth time, you are restricted from that world.

You might want to be smart and your own spatial tools to get out, but you cannot do that. even if you use your own means to get out of the confines of that world, your token will be triggered and will be counted.

You can use the spatial methods to only move around within the confines of that world.

The only way for you to move back and forth from the world as you please, is to find special portals placed all over the planet. These portals are also of two kinds. One is the green portal. These are for the participants. They can cross over through those portals. When they use it, they will appear at the entrance of the portal in our realm.

When you go back taking the same portal, you will reappear out at another random location.

The second type of portal is the blue portal. This can only be accessed either after the conquest is over. This blue portal will then turn into a worm hole that connects that world to another one, chosen by the winner of that world.

You can keep any resources you get from that world and you can take almost anything to that world. Of course, as long as it doesn't trigger the restrictions placed on that world, you can use it there for trade, fights, whatever you can.

More often than not, the trigger will happen if that thing is impossible to produce with the level of materials and resources present in that world.

So, keep in mind when you bring something over there..."

Ling Tian went on and on about this. Of course, the other students are also being informed about the rules, but not by these big wigs. After explaining all the rules, Ling Tian finally said. "I talked to you all individually and gave different missions to you. I want you to stick with the mission. I know that you are capable of bringing the results that I desire. So, please do not

let me down."

After some more yapping, everyone left.

Sam went to check the list of the worlds just like everyone else. He created a similar list in the

hub and stayed there most of the time, planning some moves.

Then he contacted Arkiv.

"You got into the representative team?"

"Yes."

"That's good. Let me know what your primary picks are. I will handle the rest." "Alright, I will call you as soon as the list of our target worlds is finalized."

"Good."

He cut the call. After a couple of hours, Arkiv called with a list of names. There are ten worlds. The primary targets of the representative team of Hou Yi academy. It is also mentioned that they made an alliance with another academy in Xia region to have smaller share in some of these worlds.

Sam made a not of the list. Then he hesitated a bit to call Kumar and Noah. He is still a bit salty over Kumar because of that encounter. However, he gritted his teeth and called Noah. "Hello?" Noah sounded so surprised and stunned. There was no usual flare in her voice.

"Can we talk?"

"Sure. What's up?"

"I am assuming you made the representative team?"

"Of course I did. Thanks to certain someone who slayed all the elites in the second grade. Then/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

spots are wide open for me to take."

Sam just brushed it off and asked.

"I want to know what worlds you guys are getting into?"

"Why is that?"

"I got some plans. Don't want you and Kumar to get swept in it."

"How considerate of you. Someone mistake us for being friends."

"Noah, I am indeed being considerate because we knew each other for too long. And you know that I don't take these quips lightly. I am doing you a favor here. So, if you cannot resist, take

it up with your husband."

"Alright, alright. I was just being funny."

"I am sending you a list. Tell Kumar as well. I don't want your teams to be in those words. And

tell me the list of your primary targets. At least, I won't lay my hands on them without a

headsup."

"Alright, thanks. Seems like you are brewing some another storm."

"Just another day in my life." Sam cut the call and sighed.

Soon, he got two more lists from Noah and Kumar.

Of course, Sam is not counting on them being the final lists. But they are most likely. After marking all these lists, he finally starting sending out some messages to some of the other

students in the gambler academy.

He spent most of the day like that.

Meanwhile, the academy realm is once again bustling with external people. More so than

ever.
