Chapter 2247: Angel Power Detector



"I see. So that was the case." Lilith stated as she looked at the Angel Gabriel as if she was examining every part of his body.

"Why do I suddenly feel a chill?" The Angel Gabriel thought but he did not dare to move since Lilith is directly looking at him.

"Such a pity that all of you were limited by your very own creator. The angels would have been such a powerhouse if you had a creator goddess that actually cared about others instead of herself. Well, that hag is dead anyway so all of you are no longer shackled." Lilith bluntly stated.

The baby angels wanted to protest but they dared not to utter a word when Lilith was looking at them. They were beyond terrified of this Nephilim as she had perfect control over light and darkness. Her mastery even made Mikhail quiver as he witnessed her powers personally. The angels knew that Lilith could sweep all of them up even if their powers returned.

"Does that mean that all of us will be teenagers when we regain our powers?!" The baby angel Jophiel asked while having a terrified expression.

"What is wrong with being a teenager? For the answer to that question, the guild leader would be the best one to give an answer." Ark stated as he pushed the responsibility to Adrian.

"I do not know as each individual would react differently. Some might even retain their baby forms, or you could also return back to your adult forms. Nothing is certain until you actually regain your lost soul fragments." Adrian answered as truthfully as he could.

"As long as I do not become a stinky teenager then I would be good." The angel Jophiel stated.

"Is that jab at me? Talk about a pot calling the kettle black! You stink more than a teenager... you know that, right?" The Angel Gabriel stated which made the angels brawl once again.

"So, who is next?" Adrian asked which made the angels stop their brawl as the other six are jealous that the Angel Gabriel was the first to recover what he lost.

The angels do not want to admit it but the fact that they could become stronger than what they thought are their prime is on the table. They wanted to start their training immediately as they were told that they would regain their adult forms should they grow stronger. Even they felt that the Angel Gabriel was more powerful than his 'prime' as he now understood his talent better than ever.

"Of course, I should be next since I am the leader of the angels after all." The baby angel Mikhail stated proudly but the others protested.

"Why are you fighting on who would be the next new babysitter? Also, do you even detect your talents?" Lilith stated with a glare which made the baby angels straighten their backs. Five of them immediately looked devastated because they could not sense their missing powers.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"I felt my powers, but it is difficult to pinpoint. It is also incredibly faint to the point that I cannot get a clear signal of it because of my weakened state." The baby angel Raphael stated. "One out of six is not bad as we could prioritize." Adrian stated.

"Where did you get a proper sense of where your powers were?" Ark asked the baby angel Raphael.

"I thought it was north at first, but it then moved east. After a few days, I felt it at the west which is why I am confused. The weak connection to it and its constant movement is making it difficult for me to lock on." The baby angel Raphael stated.

"At least, you are better than the other five that could not even detect theirs." The Angel Gabriel stated as he took a jab at the laziness of the others which also instigated another attack to him.

"If there was a way to boost their detection power then it would be easy." Ark muttered.

"I can help them as I can spread my awareness using light." Lilith stated which stunned all of them.

"You can do that?!" Ark asked.

"I can but why do I need to help those brats? Taking care of them is already difficult enough but the others hate them." Lilith stated as she looked at the baby angels with zero emotion.

"You know that they are also pitiful because of that goddess. Also, giving their powers back means that you will no longer look after them." Ark stated.

"The second reason is interesting but not interesting enough to help them." Lilith stated. "What if they help you?" Adrian asked.

"How can they help me when they cannot even help themselves?" Lilith stated.

"They can help you locate the location where the Fallen laid their foundations. I know that you are looking for them since Ark asked for our help regarding them. Also, Gomory is a part of our guild as well which means we also know that she is searching form them." Adrian stated.

"It should have been just between us and Gomory but even she has loose lips when in difficult circumstances. If that is the case, then I could agree since it would also mean that I can actively search. The only reason I cannot leave this place is due to the fact that no one will be here to defend it. If these seven idiots get their powers back, then they could be used to defend the area." Lilith stated as she still looked elegant like a young noble lady.

"Will you help then?" Ark asked.

"Please help us! Mistress!" The baby angels stated as they clung onto Lilith's dress.

"I am only doing this to help my cause, but I also want to join in on the search. Since Gabriel could stay in the territory in my place, I can also search for the remnants of the Fallen while helping the winged brats." Lilith stated as she finished her cup of tea which made the baby angels rejoice while the Angel Gabriel looked downcast.
