Chapter 201: A Theory Was Proven To Be Right

Chapter 201: A Theory Was Proven To Be Right

"Why did you stop here?" Jeffrey asked with a frustrated tone when Bloom stopped just in front of the village.

"I think we should go this way," Bloom suddenly turned and moved towards the road that led towards outside the Village.

"This" Jeffrey wasn't the only one feeling surprised here, but Nara just cleared her throat and gave him a silent glance to follow him.

And like this everyone moved after Bloom who was leading the road.

This wasn't the first time for Bloom to go into such a road, but this time he was heading there not to do some bad deeds as usual.

'Players have scanned many places in the wilderness already none discovered any dungeon or anything that seemed strange. I bet they all came from the grounds outside the villages.'

He gambled here, but depending on what he saw so far this wasn't a losing bet. These monsters didn't follow the village settings, already making the idea of them belonging to other places than the village more acceptable.

The team moved after Bloom who just opened the map and started to examine the road network. 'The main road will get divided on many occasions, and all led to areas outside the village,' he thought before deciding to stick to the main road.

"Do you even know where are you leading us?" Nara had to ask after an hour of walking aimlessly in such barren lands.

"I know," Bloom simply nodded, "just trust me and keep following my steps. Our target isn't far."

He was bluffing and she seemed to read that, but she kept her silence and didn't even ask him in private chat.

He led the team who started to chat in between themselves for so long already. The new players kept asking the old about the legendary tales heard about Bloom.

And the only answer they all received was that the tales never gave justice to him.

Bloom heard many of these side talks, but he never put them in mind. Despite knowing he was an extraordinary being in the game, he also knew deep down he was a glitch; something fate threw into this game for something he didn't know yet.

For him, damaging the game was and still his goal but he now realized more than ever that this wasn't necessarily the purpose of him being sent to the past in human flesh.

He kept asking himself this question, about the true purpose of being here. 'I just hope I can find clues that might help me in finding such an answer,' he muttered to himself before finally reaching the point where the village territory ended.

And in front of him, in front of everyone, a vast wilderness stretched out for no end.

"Holy moly you were right!" Nara moved in shock while muttering these words. She wasn't the only shocked one here, but all were the same.

Everyone glanced with wide eyes towards all those monsters moving around the world up front. The monsters were all skeletons, the same as what everyone was fighting against right now.

And every now and then, there would be a very familiar opening from which many skeletons kept pouring out towards this world.

"They they are coming from dungeons," Jeffrey moved to stand beside Nara while watching the long lines of skeletons moving towards certain directions; towards the shield covering the village and passing through it like it was nothing.

"They are going to the wilderness," One of the players muttered before Bloom turned to face them as he said, "now our aim is to select one dungeon and start clearing it."

"You are speaking as if killing those skeletons are really a piece of cake."

Bloom turned to face this light daughter player who had a defying look over her face. She seemed, like two others here, not happy by this realization of Bloom.

"Oh, just one minute," Bloom suddenly pointed to her before taking a hundred token of fallen agents as he summoned them. "This one, this, and this go and kill those three for me."

Bloom selected the three who were revealed by their reaction at this moment. Before anyone could speak or object, the fallen agents fell upon the three like thunder, and in a few seconds they killed them all.

What just happened right now startled everyone, and when they all glanced vigilantly towards Bloom, he simply smiled as he said in calm and ease:

"I don't tolerate traitors and spies. If I ever find anyone of them, I won't dirty my hand and will ask my minions to kill them for me."

His words explained everything, yet they never explained how he knew they were traitors. Bloom jumped over what happened here before pointing towards the nearest dungeon opening as he said, "We will target this one first."

"Any plan then?" Jeffrey asked while he finally was at his wits end here, "we need to know what to do or else"

Everyone around nodded while Bloom just smiled. "Just wait here and watch," he then moved towards the front, all alone, not even bringing his own army of agents with him.

"Is he insane?" Jeffrey turned to Nara who just had a sparkling in her eyes as she softly muttered:

"Y'all asked about his legends now open your eyes wide open as you are about to witness one."

Bloom wasn't acting suicidal. He had a theory in mind and he needed to test it out. "Losing one level is nothing, but I need to see if this will work," the next instant his feet stepped onto the lands outside the road.

"Roar!"

One monster roared and the others seemed to be attracted to Bloom's scent. Bloom just smiled as he simply took out his bow and then he pointed it towards the nearest skeleton.

"Let's see if this will work," he then grabbed the string and the next instant an arrow was formed.

"System alert: player is using the black monster taming bow. One thousand dark points are deducted and another thousand for feeding the monster for one day."

"Bingo!"

Boom cracked a wide smile before hysterically laughing while his arrow just penetrated the body of the nearest skeleton.

For others far behind he seemed to be mad, losing his mind and was about to die.

But what happened next blew their minds off the capsules they were residing in right now.

Bloom directed his bow towards the second monster, then a third, a fourth, and kept hitting until he hit one hundred skeletons out there. At first he was trying his bow, and his previous theory of these monsters belonging to the dark side was proven right.

Then he started to be more selective in the monsters he was hitting.

"What is he doing?" Nara muttered while she noticed like others that all the monsters he hit with his strange bow stood motionless in place for long moments until he finished hitting a hundred monster.

"Listen up," his voice suddenly came out strong and loud, "go and clear a path towards the dungeon. Kill any monster standing on your path, and then guard the entrance well."

"Roar!"

The next instant the hundred skeletons roared before they turned around, aimed their scythes, swords, knives, and spears at other skeletons nearby.

A massacre suddenly erupted where those monsters seemed to enjoy a sacred protection from the game. Not a single monster retaliated or tried to defend.

"Holy cow! How the hell could he do that?!!" Jeffrey was shocked this time more than any previous times.

"Hahaha, I warned you all, he is making a miracle right now," Nara didn't know the answer but her eyes were fixed over that bow of his. "I bet with everything that the secret lies within that bow."

"I agree with you," Jeffrey nodded, and all players around only watched with amazed expressions over their faces the skeletons executing Bloom's words to the letter.

"What are you waiting for?" Bloom simply turned to glance at them, "C'mon, we have a dungeon to clear."

He then moved, and they didn't hesitate for long before following after.

The tamed skeletons reminded him of the monsters he tamed at first layers of the lost mines. 'This is amazing, like this I can kill any dungeon without a hassle.'

He moved like a king towards the dungeon he specified and his skeletons were acting like his mighty guards. He didn't need to raise a finger anymore, but his aim wasn't to clear the dungeon using them.

After all, such a solution was only limited to him. 'I need to confirm my other theories so I can send instructions for Antoan and the rest,' he thought while reaching the opening of the dungeon.

"Damn, those skeletons are really a boost when they are with us," Jeffrey exclaimed in excitement before adding, "are they going to come with us now?"

"No," Bloom shook his head before turning to the monsters as he ordered, "stay and defend, not a single monster is allowed to come inside."

"Can other monsters come inside?" Nara said, "never heard of monsters entering dungeons from the outside."

"We I dunno about this," Bloom sighed, "but we should deal with this situation as it's a special case. Every single scenario must be properly calculated and ready to deal with each."

"Said properly," Nara nodded before glancing over the entrance, "if the monsters won't come inside, then how do you plan raiding this dungeon?"

"Using the new members in our team of course,"" Bloom smiled before turning to face the entire team, "listen up. This will be raided like any other dungeon. Our main weapon is the purification skills of you, so keep yourself ready and be wise in using your skills. If you need any potions, just ask."
