Chapter 168: Hitting the Dungeon

Chapter 168: Hitting the Dungeon

Bloom then turned serious as he said: "I know you must have fought dungeons before, but let me repeat some facts. Those standing up front will attack our rear players when they have half of their Hp. So, I need ten of our shield bearers to hold their charge and five of the weapon wielders to kill them."

Everyone nodded while Nara joked:

"C'mon man, the entire game learnt about this from you."

"No loss in repeating them then," he muttered before adding, "I'll stay back. What about you?" he turned to gaze upon everyone.

"What should people like me do?" Jeffrey asked.

"You and others will be out main DPS up front," Bloom arranged before adding, "as for the light daughters and staff holders they should stay far behind and we will protect them," he turned to Nara as he asked, "do we have anyone with instant revival skill?"

"We have three," she responded before adding, "they took us a bunch of coins to buy these."

"Great," he smiled before adding, "the key to this dungeon is to constantly revive who has fallen from our team after each fight."

He turned his gaze to the front before adding, "I want someone to post an anonymous post in the forums."

"About what exactly?" Jeffrey said before adding, "there is no way to post an anonymous post in the game as far as I know."

"Anonymous post is a post written by an unknown member to our enemies," Bloom explained, "and coming from such a member it would look like coming from any normal player out there."

"I see," Jeffrey nodded in understanding, "what do you want him to write?"

"About seeing us entering this dungeon," Bloom pointed to the dungeon before adding in front of all the amazed faces, "and he has to say he did his research over the dungeon time and it would take roughly an hour to complete. He also has to lie about the grade, saying it's only a green dungeon."

Everyone was speechless there for a moment, even Nara opened and closed her mouth a couple of times before finally saying: "I don't get what you want to do here but all I feel is only evil!"

"Hehehe, you'll know how evil I'm when we are inside."

Her face turned slightly red despite his words carrying no hidden intentions. He ignored her as he muttered: "Let's get arranged first and start. After clearing the dungeon entrance monsters, Horn will stay behind to do his job."

"What about me?" Tony asked, "What should I do?"

"Try not to die until the end," Bloom said before adding, "always keep yourself behind us until the last room then you can die in that room as many times as you want to make your level be fixed on ten."

"I can lower it beyond that," he suggested trying to look heroic.

"You won't do us any good then," Bloom shook his head before adding, "all the monsters here are triggered by level ten and beyond, not lower."

Tony nodded as he went to silence again. Bloom watched everyone taking their position while Nara came to ask: "When do you want this strange post of yours to appear?"

"When we enter the dungeon and clear at least the first room," he said before adding, "let me tell you when, alright."

"Ok," she nodded before motioning with her head, "we are ready."

"Great," he moved towards the group and stood just in front of a bunch of staff holders and light daughters not exceeding twenty in numbers. "Let's start this."

He gave the mark and everyone moved at once to hit the frontal monsters. Each monster had a big bull head and a body of a tiger, so he anticipated they were all close range monsters.

"Be wary of their attacks, they should have strong"

"10000"

"8000"

"12000"

"12000"

"10000"

Just as he was about to continue his words, a long row of high damage appeared on top of these monsters from the frontal team. "Sigh, forgot we have a leveler," he muttered as the monsters were all level fifteen.

They were lower than him with two levels, making him able to cause double or even triple that damage with his basic skills. He watched his frontal team led by Jeffrey to make these monsters all lose Hp equally.

"They are doing a great job," Nara said as she decided to stand beside him and help him in defending the rear players.

"They are experts," he commented before adding, "yet the real challenge will start soon."

The monsters didn't stand silent there as they kept attacking the players. Each monster had one shield to stop it, or the player simply used a skill to evade.

After two minutes, the first monster had its Hp lowered more than half already.

"Roar!"

It roared and all the other monsters roared with it. Bloom had already seen their skills, as they all used their strong claws to attack, long tails to tie down players and their heads with sharp single broad horns to hit the players massively.

"Their skills aren't that threatening," he muttered before deciding, "no need to use my clones here then."

As the monsters ran towards the rear players, Bloom moved.

"Stab" "Dash!"

The first skill he used was his usual stab skill before he linked it with a dash, hitting the frontal monster hard and making it retreat a couple of meters before it was thrown in the air like a cannonball.

"45000"

Such a terrifying damage appeared on top of the monster, startling everyone around.

Yet Bloom didn't stop there. "Wow, forgot totally about the passive skill of mine," he smiled before laughing, "no need to use massive skills then, I can alone hold the fort."

He stood motionless all of a sudden and then his two swords kept moving right and left, hitting any approaching monster to him.

"Stab."  "Stab."  "Stab."  "Stab."  "Stab."  "Stab."  "Stab."  "Stab."  "Stab." "Stab."

"20000" "20000" "20000" "20000" "20000" "20000" "20000" "20000" "20000" "20000"

All monsters hit by him were thrown right and left five meters at least before rolling on the ground. This scene looked very bizarre and tyrannical, yet everyone finally understood why he was so confident in facing off such a dungeon and clearing it.

They realized his high damage was caused due to the level difference between him and the monsters, making his attacks fierce.

In less than a minute he managed to clear the area off monsters. Alone he blocked the twenty monsters, causing massive damage to them, and he didn't lose a single Hp here.

This was a miracle for these players who had his picture as a legendary player engraved deeper in their minds.

And they started to realize why he was so fixed upon having a weak player joining up their team as a leveler.

"The only drawback will be the Xp gained," Nara muttered to herself before chuckling, "good thing we have lower levels than those monsters. Too bad for you, hehehe."

He heard her words and simply shook his head. He knew this drawback yet with the speed of finishing dungeons, the total Xp would be much higher than when leveling without a leveler.

"Don't stand motionless there, go and finish them out!"

Everyone started to move after his shout and a myriad of skills landed upon the fallen monsters. In less than two minutes they managed to clear all the monsters and even have many materials, coins, and even some gears in return.

"What about those? Do I distribute them like before?" Nara asked while holding one staff, one shield, and one chest plate in her hands with a big smile over her face.

She wasn't the only excited one here; everyone was. These gears were all level fifteen each, and their grades were all gold.

"Do as we did before," he casually waved his hand as he wasn't really interested in such low level gears.

The grades were good, but not the level.

"If you gained any decent boots, pass them to me," he added while glancing over his beginner's boot that was worth nothing. His Sherin boots were damaged after the last encounter with that Grotar monster and he didn't find another boots or fix them yet.

He needed to fix them, as he knew how important the swift kick skill used by them was.

"Wrap things up," he shouted before turning to Horn and pointed to the entrance of the dungeon, "you'll stay hidden behind the entrance. If any team arrives, just send us a message and retreat."

"Won't I fight them?" Horn was still shocked by what he saw from Bloom just now so he was filled with adrenaline.

"No," Bloom decisively declined, "they will come hot in great numbers, at least fifty and probably a hundred. All you need to do is to retreat and leave enough distance from them," he said before adding, "beware of their shade sons, they will be ahead of the team within a hundred meter radius."

Horn nodded before Nara came after distributing the gears over the players in return for an auction of materials. "We are ready."

"Great," Bloom nodded before patting on Horn's shoulders. "Don't be heroic, we'll still need your help later on."

"Alright," Horn nodded and then Bloom entered the dungeon first followed by everyone else, while Horn took his place in the entrance and waited. They watched his back with admirable expression over their faces.

Such great change from what they initially had when they first met him was caused by his great performance that they knew it wasn't overrated as they initially and wrongly thought before.
