Chapter 129: The Reincarnation Joke!
Chapter 129: The Reincarnation Joke!
"Are you sure about this? This ID must be protected, with your life on the line," Bloom stressed, while his face showed a very serious expression.
This wasn't a joke! If his ID was uncovered to his rival, his life would be in danger!
People would do anything for money and power, and his rival was aspiring for both! And ironically he was the one ruining up his plans so far without even intending so.
"You can count on me for that, yet the money needed for that operation" Antoan paused here as he knew how much he would need to pay to fulfill this task.
"Money isn't important," Bloom said another suspicious word that he never said before! "Just tell me how can I support you and I will."
"Ahem," Antoan was now dead settled that his master wasn't his master anymore! He sized him up, and at this moment he had to know the truth before saying things he might regret. "First tell me who is after you."
"You want to know?" Bloom cracked a smile, watching the amusing look over his butler. "I will tell you your name, and this name will be our greatest enemy from this moment on," he added, trying to cover up on many secrets by only revealing a smaller one.
After all, his mind now was providing many ideas about how to get the best benefit out of these new developments.
"Your secret will go with me to the grave," Antoan swore to him, an oath that he usually repeated to himself all the time. To him, Bloom wasn't a task, Bloom was his entire life core and purpose.
A brother, even not in blood yet their bond was stronger than what Bloom thought!
"He goes by the name Dockrey."
"Dockrey?!!" the eyes of Antoan shone as he instantly added, "you don't mean that Dockrey?"
"I precisely mean him."
Antoan stood motionless in his place for a long time before he muttered, "This this is really a problem," he shook his head, knowing why his master was so sure about his enemy's ability to crack the game ID.
"But you never were interested in the Triflet challenge!" and here Antoan expressed his doubts clearly as he added, "who are you? Where is my old master?"
"He is long gone," Bloom sincerely replied, yet Antoan thought he was joking. "Really? And you are his reincarnation in this life then?"
Strangely, his most ironic comment was the real truth! "You can consider me that," Bloom grinned, knowing that his butler was taking his words as a child's play.
"Alright, keep your secrets to you then."
"It's a deal," and Bloom finally was relieved, "tell me now how to secure the funds," he demanded, while he greatly anticipated this answer.
Much of his fresh ideas and plans required a massive amount of money!
"You forgot you have a secret bank account under your name?" Antoan laughed, as he seemed to enjoy this little game with his master, "or your reincarnation had his mind wiped out when coming here?"
Bloom smiled as he started to navigate through the memories of Terry. Having someone else's memories in your head wasn't funny at all! He had to go through many things before recalling a mysterious letter delivered to Terry by this butler after Terry's father's death.
"The secret shareholder?" he muttered while his eyes told Antoan he recalled the account.
"Sure, your father didn't really entrust others for your future. He was afraid a day would come where you might lose your inheritance."
Bloom's smile grew wider as he honestly commented, "he was such a wise man indeed."
"A man of the world," Antoan agreed, "and he left a secret account for you as the main shareholder. You are called at the board by the nickname mysterious shareholder, and you liked it at some point before losing interest in this."
"So a lot of money is there?" he asked, trying to be sure Terry didn't do anything stupid he might now regret in his stead.
"Sure, every single point is stored there for you to use," he said before adding, "plus I funded some of the underground organizations in the secret under your name. this was your father will as well, for me as the guardian on your account."
"So you can now take money from it?" Bloom was puzzled, "so why did you ask for my help?"
"Well" Antoan seemed embarrassed, "I have a limit to the amount I can withdraw, and the task you want will need much more than that."
"I see," Bloom nodded, before adding, "then what are you waiting here for? Go and bring all the needed papers to sign."
"Well, you didn't tell me the name of this golden ID you wanted to protect this hard," Antoan said, yet he guessed it was his master's ID in the game, "is your ID this dangerous?"
"Far more than you think," Bloom smiled before adding, "It's called Bloom!"
"Bloom?!!!" this wasn't the first time Antoan was shocked by his master in mere minutes, "that Bloom they just spoke about?"
"Yes, I'm the one who killed that prank and made him lose a couple of levels," he paused before adding, "and I'm the one who is going to screw Dockrey and his men in the game one by one."
Antoan had mixed feelings at this moment, for once he felt his master had turned into the man he dreamt of; the man his father ever wanted. And also he wasn't sure about the reason that transformed his master from such a useless trash to such a strong person.
Yet he was happy for that change!
"I'm glad this reincarnation happened," he sincerely said.
"Me too, hahaha," and Bloom laughed.
"Do you suspect these three are Dockrey's men?" Antoan had already guessed everything.
"Yes."
"That's possible, yet" and Antoan's gaze expressed what he wanted to say.
"Yes, if that was proven to be true, then my dear uncle has already betrayed me and is now a mere pawn in the hands of my greatest rivals."
"That would be bad!" Antoan realized now why Bloom acted so weird at the start. "You should worry, really worry about your safety," he commented, silently admitting his mistake in his previous judgment.
"I know, yet it's a war, right? I need to be prepared for losses in order to win," Bloom said before adding, "and I plan to play wholeheartedly from now on. This Triflet challenge will be my victory!"
His simple declaration made in this messy room seemed like a childish one at the moment, yet his butler felt this wasn't just empty words said amidst a raging storm. 'I'm sure you will, my new master,' and Antoan said to himself while descending the stairs.
He was now going to prepare the papers, while Bloom didn't hurry to enter the game. "Things have changed, I need to plan every single move I make, or else" he glanced at the capsule and a picture of an assassin stabbing him in the depth of the night while playing haunted him.
"I have to kill them before they kill me," he made up his decision, and not every death was by a weapon; that what he knew from his bitter past experience in the Titanic Revolut game.
