My Wife is A Sword God

Chapter 758: Reversing Life and Death, The Dead Returning To Life

Chapter 758: Reversing Life and Death, The Dead Returning To Life

In the rift in the sky, since a portion of the Dao Tribulation had been diverted to attack Qin Feng and the others, the pressure on Su Tianyue had suddenly eased.

Her remaining six fox tails swayed, and her spiritual energy surged. She had to break through and absorb this Dao Tribulation in the shortest possible time.

The longer she delayed, the more variables there would be, and the more likely it was that Qin Feng and the others would find themselves in danger – something she did not wish to see.

A sword of cold light, the Thunder Domain Art unleashed its formidable power, and the sword and blade were united.

Facing even just a strand of the Dao Tribulation, Liu Jianli and the others did not dare to be careless, immediately exerting their full strength to resist it.

Even so, they were still in grave peril.

Qin Feng was protected by three people in the middle, concentrating calmly.

In the past, the absorption of the Divine Dao Principles by the Yin-Yang Qi had been a spontaneous process, but this time he had to actively establish communication and try to let the Yin-Yang Qi consume the descending Dao Tribulation.

He had expected this to be difficult, but the actual situation was much smoother than he had anticipated.

The Yin-Yang Qi seemed to be in tune with his intentions, obeying his commands like an extension of his will.

“It must be because of my deeper understanding of the Yin-Yang Dao Principles after cultivating with my two wives,” Qin Feng thought and felt relieved.

Guiding his spiritual sense, the black and white Qi surged out of the Divine Sea, taking the form of the Yin-Yang fish pattern.

Liu Jianli and the others saw this and expressed their curiosity.

But the next sight left them utterly astonished.

The Yin-Yang fish began to rotate, its speed increasing rapidly, and the strand of Dao Tribulation that had been troubling the three of them was now being continuously pulled and absorbed into the Yin-Yang fish!

The ice and snow melted, the flames receded, the Demons and Ghosts shattered, and the blades dissipated.

The illusory realm composed of the multicolored light began to crumble as the Dao Principles were absorbed by the Yin-Yang Qi.

The colorful aura was condensed into a single thread and merged into Qin Feng’s Divine Sea, subsequently devoured by the black and white Qi.

The Yin-Yang Dao Principles had once again grown stronger.

“It worked as expected!” Qin Feng exclaimed excitedly.

In the sky above, the rift suddenly trembled, and even the colourful light visibly dimmed.

Sensing the change, Su Tianyue looked down, and was shocked to find that the strand of Dao Tribulation had vanished without a trace!

“How is this possible?!”

Gong Cang exclaimed, “This black and white Qi can even consume other Dao Principles… Could it be the Dao Principle as well?”

Qin Feng nodded slightly in affirmation.

Receiving this confirmation, Gong Cang was filled with a complex mix of emotions.

At such a young age, to be able to comprehend Dao Principles, if he were to steadily progress from here, wouldn’t ascending to the Transcendence Realm be a mere formality?

A sense of futility and defeat welled up within him, like the younger waves pushing aside the older ones.

Liu Jianli and Cang Feilan looked at each other. That night they couldn’t argue about who should sleep with their husband, so when they went to bed together, they vaguely felt that there seemed to be a gentle energy flowing in their bodies.

They had initially attributed it to the Ancient Divine Breath, but now it seemed that it might have been this very power.

Thinking back to that intimate night, the two women averted their gaze, their cheeks flushing slightly.

If not for the prolonged pregnancy and their deep longing, they would not have acted in such an embarrassing manner.

Examining the Divine Sea, Qin Feng saw that the top of the black and white Qi was now shimmering with golden light, which was a sign of its maturation.

He called Chi Qi and Bai Su back to the Divine Sea, and when the two little creatures saw this, they immediately swallowed hard, their expressions filled with eagerness.

“Eat,” Qin Feng said with a smile.

After receiving permission, the two little ones could not contain themselves and jumped on the Yin-Yang Dao Principles and devoured the ripe portion, their expressions indicating that they were still unsatisfied.

This ripe part was likely not even enough to fill a gap in their teeth.

Turning his gaze back to the sky, Qin Feng saw that Su Tianyue was calmly and composedly handling the Dao Tribulation.

The situation had stabilized.

Qin Feng inwardly lamented, “What a pity. If the other side had not held out, I could have righteously cursed the heavens once again, let the will of the Dao Principles descend once more, and then fed the Yin-Yang Dao Principles to the two little ones until they were full.”

“The Tushan Fox Clan patriarch’s spiritual energy is constantly growing stronger,” Gong Cang suddenly said.

“Mm,” Qin Feng responded. Not only was her spiritual energy increasing, but the colorful light was also gradually dimming, replaced by a multi-hued radiance emanating from Su Tianyue’s body.

If Qin Feng’s guess was correct, this should be the process of Su Tianyue thoroughly comprehending the Dao Principles.

And when the Dao Tribulation completely vanished, that would be the moment she ascended to the Transcendence Realm.

Time passed swiftly, until a sharp cracking sound was heard!

On the rift in the sky, a crack stood out starkly, and this was just the beginning.

Dense web-like fractures rapidly spread, and then, with a thunderous roar, the illusory void completely shattered.

The flowing light converged into Su Tianyue’s body, and her spiritual energy became more and more powerful, appearing god-like to Qin Feng and the others.

“From today onwards, the Western Domain has gained another Transcendence Realm cultivator,” Gong Cang sighed, his expression filled with envy.

“Lord Gong, there’s no need for such sentiment. Someday, you too will have your turn.”

Gong Cang shook his head with a wry smile. He was well aware of his own situation, and with Qin Feng’s reminder, perhaps advancing to the Second Rank would not be too difficult.

But to cross into the Transcendence Realm was akin to a dream.

Yet, even so, Qin Feng’s words of reassurance still made him feel much better.

How could he have known that Qin Feng had only finished half the sentence – “…and witness me ascend to the Transcendence Realm.”

Gong Cang’s smile gradually faded.

With Su Tianyue as the center, endless waves of spiritual energy spread out like a tsunami.

She floated down slowly and landed next to Qin Feng and others: “Thank you very much.”

As soon as she finished speaking, her body staggered and fell in the direction of Qin Feng.

Qin Feng reacted quickly and reached out to grab her. However, Cang Feilan was even faster, taking only a single step to take Su Tianyue into her embrace.

“Are you alright?” Cang Feilan asked coldly, locking eyes with the woman in her arms.

Su Tianyue averted her gaze, as if feeling guilty. “The power of the Transcendence Realm’s Heavenly Tribulation far exceeded my expectations. If not for your assistance, I would have faced certain doom. I owe you a debt of gratitude.”

“In the future, if you ever need help, the Tushan Fox Clan will not hesitate to go through fire and water for you.”

“You flatter us, Tushan Fox Clan patriarch,” Qin Feng said, summoning Bai Su from the Divine Sea. “Your injuries are too severe. With the impending great battle in the Western Domain, your combat power is indispensable. Let me treat you.”

Bai Su understood, clenched its tiny fists, and then let out a chirping sound.

The tender sprout on its head crackled with vibrant green thunderbolts, which then swept over Su Tianyue’s body.

The frostbite and scorched marks quickly receded, and the wounds on her body began to visibly heal.

What was even more astounding was that the fox tails she had lost had even regrown!

“This…” Gong Cang’s eyes widened.

Regenerating severed limbs was a feat only achievable by those who had reached the pinnacle of the Divine Martial Warrior’s Invincible Vajra Body Realm. Even he could not accomplish such rapid recovery.

“This little carrot-like creature has such miraculous abilities,” Gong Cang marveled. Today, there had been too many things that had exceeded his understanding.

Hearing this, Bai Su looked displeased, waving its little hands in protest, insisting that it was not a carrot!

“After Chi Qi devoured the thunderous demonic beast from the Heavenly Tribulation, Bai Su’s healing abilities have clearly improved compared to before,” Qin Feng noted approvingly.

In the past, while Bai Su could achieve limb regeneration, it would never have been this swift.

Furthermore, when it used its healing abilities during the battle at Zhenling Pass, the higher the cultivation base of the recipient, the slower the healing effect.

Yet now, it was able to heal a Transcendence Realm cultivator in a matter of minutes!

After a short while, Su Tianyue’s injuries had been fully healed, though her aura still felt somewhat weak.

She looked at Qin Feng with something inexplicable in her eyes. “Young Master Qin, you withstood the Tribulation for me, helped me weaken the Dao Tribulation, and successfully ascend to the Transcendence Realm. And now, you have even healed my wounds. According to the customs of the human race, for such a great kindness and virtue, this humble woman has no way to repay you, except perhaps with my body…”

“There’s no need for that!” Qin Feng directly interrupted. “Let’s instead discuss when we should set out for the Western Domain Extremity.”

Liu Jianli averted her gaze.

Cang Feilan also retracted her spiritual energy and the thunderbolts in her palm dissipated.

Phew, good thing I reacted quickly, Qin Feng silently sighed in relief.

“Someone has just successfully ascended to the Transcendence Realm,” a hoarse voice spoke in the empty void as they were on their way to the Western Domain Extreme Region.

It was the Ghost Buddha who had retreated into the void.

The eye on his palm opened and spoke, “The existence in this world who has reached the Transcendence Realm differs from the other two realms.”

“How so?”

“In the other two realms, reaching the realm of Transcendence is a natural progression after understanding the Dao Principles, without having to go through the test of Heavenly Tribulation.”

“But in this world, those who wish to become experts above the Third Rank must endure a tribulation called the Confirmation Of Hegemony of Heaven and Earth.”

“These are things that should be recorded in the memories of the high-level existences you have consumed.”

The Ghost Buddha paused briefly. “Indeed, but what does this signify?”

“The mortals who have broken through the realms all believe that the Heavenly Tribulation’s trial is to prevent the emergence of too powerful beings. But in my view, it seems to be intended to make those existences even stronger.”

“When the Gods and Demons descended in the past, it was us behind the scenes pushing for them to devour this last world, but the result was their failure.”

“The Transcendence Realm born from the shattered Dao Principles can now easily defeat the Gods and Demons of the Upper Realms, which has always struck me as quite suspicious.”

The Ghost Buddha was unconcerned. “It merely delays the time of their devouring a little.”

As soon as he spoke, there was a sharp crack, and one of the eyeballs on the Buddha’s head fell off.

The Ghost Buddha bent down, picked up the eyeball, and reattached it.

“You previously liberated a portion of the Dao Principles from the Netherworld Realm and absorbed the broken realm’s souls to disrupt the life and death energies of this world, didn’t you?”

“That’s correct.”

“No wonder my incarnation body has become so decrepit, with parts falling off as I walk, needing to be picked up and reassembled one by one.”

“The Dao Principles of life and death is a special kind of Dao, and only this world that exists between the Immortal Realm and the Netherworld Realm can produce people who can comprehend them.”

“If I did not use this method, how else could I lure out the master of the Dao of Life and Death?”the large eyeball said indifferently.

“So you sent me to the Western Domain Extreme Region not only to find the Mustard Seed Space and break the seal on Mount Sumeru, but also for another purpose.”

“The Farshore Flower, which exists between life and death, can inflict great harm upon us. The master of the Dao of Life and Death likely also possesses such an ability, which is why I fear them.”

The Ghost Buddha fell silent for a moment before slowly speaking again. “The people of this world often like to say a phrase – ‘prevention is better than cure.’ It seems you have mastered this principle well.”

In the Netherworld Realm, at the Southern Domain’s Gate of Hell, Tubo was still the guardian, but Ox-Head Horse-Face now held a higher position than him.

Horse-Face scolded, “Have you forgotten what the Ghost Emperor said? When dealing with the souls from the mortal realm down to this realm, you must treat them like your own kin! “

“With your towering form, won’t you just scare them? Quickly shrink your size!”

Hearing this, Tubo furrowed its brow.

“What, you want to fight us? Watch out, I’ll report this to Ghost Emperor!”

Tubo immediately put on a smile and said, “I wouldn’t dare, I just wanted to ask, how exactly do you treat them like family?”

Horse Faced was taken aback by the question and stared with wide eyes.

They were all lonely, wild ghosts of the netherworld, born without parents, raised without care—who would know what treating someone like family even means?

He looked at Ox Head beside it, who then averted his gaze, pretending not to notice.

Horse Faced paused and then said angrily, “You always ask me everything—what use are you?”

” Huh~” Tubo exhaled and suppressed the anger in his heart

If not for the fortunate circumstances that allowed these two to latch onto Ghost Emperor’s son, how could they dare to act so arrogantly in front of it?

Just then, an unexpected change occurred on the path of bones leading to the Gate Of Hell.

Numerous souls were engulfed in blue ghost flames, and their appearances turned grotesque and loathsome. They opened their large mouths and violently bit down the remaining normal undead souls.

For a moment, heart-wrenching screams filled the air!

Ox Head and Horse Faced were stunned, their faces turning pale with fear. “Wh-what is happening?”

They were usually just minor figures in the netherworld and had never witnessed such a gruesome scene.

Seeing this, Tubo opened its mouth and took a deep breath, then blew out a gust of wind that scattered the mutated souls with an icy chill.

After having been in the netherworld for thousands of years, what hadn’t Tubo experienced?

“This is under my control. You two go find the Ghost Emperor quickly!” Tubo instructed as it looked to Ox Head and Horse Faced.

“Ah? Alright.” Ox Head and Horse Faced did not dare linger, quickly rushing into the Gate Of Hell.

This transformation was not limited to just the southern region’s Gate Of Hell—it was happening in other Gates Of Hell as well.

The major figures in the netherworld could all sense the disturbance and furrowed their brows.

Roar!

The monstrous creatures pricked their ears and suddenly stood up.

Beside them, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva furrowed his brow tightly. He looked up at the sky, and a third vertical eye emerged on his forehead.

In the dark netherworld, black mists swirled in the sky, where countless souls screamed in pain. They were trapped between the netherworld and the human realm, unable to live, unable to die!

“Life and death reversed, the dead returning to life.”
