Chapter 334 Nina appears
"Yes," Aur spoke with an amused expression. "So why are you disturbing the sleep of my young miss?"
"I am sorry to be disturbing the sleep of the young miss. I am the ancestor of the Iron Fist sect," the old man said in the most pleasant voice possible.
"Don't think that you can just meet our young miss because you are a lord," Aur's voice came from inside again.
The old man paused for a second when he heard this, but with a forced smile, he continued.
"I know my identity is not enough to meet the young miss, but I am here to apologise to you. This disobedient servant, my granddaughter, dared to be disrespectful to you, and that core disciple of the sect even went as far as to interrupt the young miss. So I am here to officially make Tina your servant."
"Oh, you really don't care about the death of your core disciple?" Aur said.
"I can only say that he deserves such treatment; he has already been declared as a traitor of the sect," the old man casually said with a gentle smile on his face.
"No matter how much of a genius you are, after death, it is useless." While he muttered in his heart.
Although the old man had some hope for Leonard, he was dead. It was no use to offend Rowena, the only daughter of the duke, for such a dead person.
As for respecting the dead, the old man would sneer. The dead were the dead; it didn't matter whether they were respected or disrespected as long as there were benefits.

"It can only be said to be the last contribution that Leonard has given to the sect."
While thinking of this, he heard the assumed male servant's voice again.
"I see, I see. Then do you think as the servant of the young miss, you are fit to discipline her?" Aur spoke in a cold tone.
"This…" For a moment, the old man lost his composure.
It was one thing if he put his head down, but a mere servant being so disrespectful to him? He was a tier four wizard, a lord.
Even his miss should give him appropriate respect.
After all, even her backer, the duke, was at most a tier five wizard.
But he quickly adapted to it and said with a calm tone, "I am sorry. It was my mistake. I apologise to the young miss," the old man replied.
"Then get the hell out of here!" Aur scolded the old man. "And let Tina participate in the tournament."
"Yes, I will follow the instructions of the miss," the old man bowed before the door and unbound Tina before he slowly left without talking to her.
Tina looked at the back of her grandpa and felt like she had lost something in her heart, even seemed to have been grateful for Aur.
"No, all this has been like this precisely because of Aur. How could I be grateful to him?" she thought while shaking her head and leaving the place with a determined gaze. "I will make you regret it for abandoning me, grandpa."
She went towards the tournament step by step and joined the waiting list.
…
"So the old fox gave up his face and begged for forgiveness from Rowena?" the city lord looked at his subordinate with a frown on his face.
"Yes, milord. He was not like a lord; instead he looked like an ordinary person fawning over a wizard," the servant hurriedly recalled the events that happened vividly while giving a device to him.
The city lord tapped the device and saw the scene of the ancestor of the Iron Fist bowing in front of the door and their subsequent conversation.
"Hmm, you can leave now."
After seeing the scene, he waved his hand, and the servant went away respectfully.
"I underestimated the means of this old fox. For now, I shouldn't make a move against him," he thought while touching his chin.
Pride is an emotion that can lead to self-defeat. If you have excessive pride, it will consume you. However, if you can control your pride and ego, you will be able to see the world in a new light.
When a man conquers pride, he becomes a better version of himself.
The ancestor of the Iron Fist sect, a tier four wizard, could think so rationally that even the city lord was astonished, and the subsequent scheme was called off.
There are many tier four wizards in this world. They are called lords because they can leave the earth and roam the sky, having the power to form their own forces. But how many can control their pride?
Most people, after reaching tier four, become arrogant and prideful, disdaining others and caring more about their reputation.
If they are asked to kneel and apologise to a junior, they won't do it. The vain pride they have at least won't let them do it.
Even he, the city lord, couldn't do it.
*Sigh.*
This was a small episode happening inside the VIP room right next to Aur's room.
As for Aur, he was looking at the tournament after Tina joined with great interest.
"She should be coming soon," his crimson eyes flashed.
Rowena and Hazel looked at the curious gaze of Aur with strange eyes.
They had never seen Aur become so interested. Previously, Rowena thought of this guy as a brute and a cave person, but oh, she knew how wrong she was.
Just as the tournament was happening as per normal, suddenly a drum rang in the surrounding area.
Neigh!
A terrifying roar resounded in the surroundings.
As if on instinct, everyone in the venue looked up to see a giant white horse with a horn floating in the sky.
Its huge white wings flapped in the sky while a small shadow seemed to be riding the horse.
"I wonder who Your Majesty is?" the city lord appeared in the sky and bowed.
"I am Nina, sent by the academy to investigate the flame demon."
