Chapter 233 Dirty Things
"I-I-I..." Zhao Junkai stammered. He was finding it excruciatingly hard to find the appropriate things to say with Yang Feng’s haunting stare. It was as if a shadow had reached out to forcibly seize his throat, clamping down on it, crushing his flesh, for Zhao Junkai could not find the strength in him to say anything more.
"P-please do not be angry, President Yang, there are a lot more benefits!" Zhao Junkai pleaded, his voice raising a level, capturing the eyes of the people at the table near them. He was embarrassed by his unruly behavior and lightly dropped his head a bit.
"How about this?" He wryly said, rubbing his hands together. "If there’s any other relatives in the family, aside from her grandfather, that my niece does not have bad-blood with, it’s me." He had heard rumors about how much of a damn prude Zhao Lifei was.
Zhao Junkai glanced over his shoulder and then whispered, "It’s a little rumor that circulates in the family, especially after... Well, nevermind. My niece is quite the prude and because of that, she most likely rejects any sexual advances her way. If this is the case for you, I can invite her into my house, give her a small dose of...haha, I’m sure you know what it is. Then, I’ll send her on her merry way to the presidential suite of Grand Wynsterin Hotel."
At his words, the temperature around them dropped to below freezing point. There were practically icicles forming on the ceiling and it felt like a snow storm was coming.
Zhao Junkai was so frightened, he felt his soul left his body, disappearing into the depths of hell. He visibly trembled, repeatedly swallowing hard, his teeth chattering against each other. He felt like he was staring at Yama himself, while wispy ghosts shrouded from Yang Feng. His breathing became shallow when his heart started beating furiously. The deadly chill that was previously in the air had developed into something that hell itself feared...
Yang Feng did not need to move or say anything to show his extreme disdain for the scum sitting in front of him. Just then, Chen Gaonan came running to him with a phone, but when he felt the throat-slitting atmosphere, he looked in the other direction, paused midway and cried to himself.
’Dear God! Why do I have to deliver this now?!’ He sobbed his entire trudge back to his boss who was not out for a simple blood spill. He was in a conversation with his wife a few minutes ago and did not realize someone was contacting his boss’s phone.
"B-b-boss..." Chen Gaonan’s bottom lip quivered, his hands experiencing multiple tremors.
"P-pres... no, I mean Z-Z-Zh—" He could not even bring himself to properly speak or stand with the bloodcurdling air. He was so frightened, his knees were about to give out at any second.
He did not need to finish his sentence for Yang Feng to abruptly stand up, the chair screeching a bit.
Chen Gaonan let out a tiny yelp and jumped back two meters in fear that he would be brutally slaughtered on the spot.
Yang Feng snatched the phone from his secretary and boarded the elevator. When he saw the two missed calls, his pupils dilated while his horrible mood continued turning sour with each passing event. He’ll have Chen Gaonan’s head as a wall accessory and Zhao Junkai’s as pig feed.
Zhao Junkai was rooted to the ground. He could feel his heart pumping at a distressing speed. He panted and tried to control his breathing to prevent the heart attack that was ready to kick in from how nervous he previously was. He felt like half a century was shaved from his lifespan and that he would just die on the spot.
Chen Gaonan felt the same way. With trembling hands, he wiped the sweat off his forehead. It took two minutes of complete and utter silence for Chen Gaonan to regain his composure. It was time to set the plan into motion.
"Director Zhao, I apologize for the sudden departure of our president. A very important call came through."
Zhao Junkai felt his brows furrow. His face that was once healthy and tanned was ghostly pale. He had the appearance of a sick man on his deathbed. This encounter with Yang Feng... He finally saw why everyone would rather slit their own throat than offend him.
Zhao Junkai could’ve sworn he heard the first syllable of Zhao or was it Zheng? He felt his nose tick. Did his unfilial niece interrupt their conversation?! That attention-whore, how dare she pretend to be a good niece and give away the contact information but then have the audacity to butt in?
"Unfortunately, this lunch has come to an end." Chen Gaonan had a friendly, but professional smile on his face. "However, because you are an honored person, President Yang has invited you to have a talk in his office instead. This restaurant is too...public." He concluded while his eyes scanned the people.
Zhao Junkai recognized what the secretary was implying. "Of course. Let us go then." He stood up without offering to pay the tab.
Chen Gaonan sneered inside. He took out a black card, paying for the meal that his boss never touched, but the man completely devoured. For security purposes, Chen Gaonan made sure to give a 500% tip. The staff hurriedly understood his intentions of keeping everything private and underlock.
Zhao Junkai was merrily humming a tune in the elevator, whilst checking his reflection in the elevator’s mirror. He adjusted his tie, slicked back his hair, and smiled to himself. President Zhao Junkai of Zhao Corporation. What a splendid and well-deserved title. He let out a loose laugh, crazed and frenzied, that his lifetime dream was finally being fulfilled.
Chen Gaonan glanced at the surveillance camera in the elevator as he tucked his hand into his pocket, pressed a radio device, and just like that, the camera connection was cut off. The footage in the restaurant, the elevator, and any camera within a twenty-mile radius from this place would all be wiped out by the Underworld very soon.
"So Mr. Chen, when will I see President Yang—"
THUD!
Zhao Junkai slumped onto the ground, knocked out cold.
Chen Gaonan took out a wet wipe and cleaned his hand, even though there was no blood on it. He disdained touching dirty things.

When Yang Feng received word that Zhao Lifei was in the hospital, he felt his world crash and burn. She sounded frantic over the phone, nervously jumbling over her words. All she said was, "I’m at First...Hospital. C-come quick." And hung up.
He tried to call her back once, twice, until there were ten miscalls and he was a worried wreck. Hu Wei had sped all the way to First Hospital in less than ten minutes even though the usual journey should’ve taken at least half an hour.
Yang Feng stormed into the hospital, ready to rain hell upon any doctors who would fail to heal his beloved. The nurses at the front desk were so overwhelmed by his presence, they couldn’t help but stutter and frantically rush to cater to his needs.
After having a mental breakdown from the stress of not finding a woman named Zhao Lifei in their list of patients, they finally gave him an answer. It was not Zhao Lifei that was admitted in the hospital, it was the supermodel that shook the fashion industry — Yang Ruqin.
Yang Feng was stiff with shock. He did not expect this turn of events.
Just as he was about to walk away from the information desk, another man bulldozed through the door with a distraught look on his face. He wore a casual outfit that was very messy as if he had haphazardly thrown them on.
"Where is she?!" Yang Yulong was so frantic, he did not see his older brother a meter away from him. He reached over, grabbing a nurse, behaving nothing like his public image. "Where is my younger sister?!"
"In room 1101." Yang Feng calmly responded, placing a hand on his younger brother whose head snapped up to him.
"Get your filthy hands off of me!" Yang Yulong swiveled around. "Oh." He finally gained some senses back upon seeing Yang Feng. He felt his fear subdued, only for it to be overwhelmed again when his eyes connected with Yang Feng’s.
"Release the nurse. We do not need a public scandal right now." Yang Feng muttered, walking towards the elevator, Yang Yulong hot on his trail.
The poor nurse collapsed into her chair, tiredly wiping her forehead. Her shift had barely even started, yet so much had already happened! Her head rolled to the side, where her friends were staring into space, awestruck that their eyes were blessed to have laid themselves upon the most handsome men they had ever seen.
