Magic Sect of Beauties: The Strongest Mage is in a Cultivation World

Chapter 168: The Dramatic Love Game of Heavenly Dao Ball; Everyone is Jealous, and Its Because of One Man.

Mo Chang tightened his grip on the dao ball, infusing it with his spiritual energy. The main goal of the game was to throw a pitch fast enough to evade the batter’s swing and be caught by the catcher, but at that moment, Mo Chang just wanted to launch the ball so hard it would wipe the smug grin off Yang Wei’s face.

Yang Wei taunted, "Come on, Chang boy, we don’t have all day..."

Enraged, Mo Chang hurled the ball with such force that it seemed to make the air explode. It raced toward Yang Wei, who effortlessly swung his dao bat. However, Mo Chang’s spin on the ball caused it to dip, and Yang Wei had to sprint towards the next celestial base as a fielder retrieved the ball.

"Grandmaster, here!" The fielder shouted, as they threw the ball across.

"Nice!" Mu Lingxi exclaimed as she caught the ball in her glove.

Suddenly, she saw Yang Wei barreling towards her with uncontrollable speed.

Before she could react, he crashed into her.

BLAM!

In the blink of an eye, Yang Wei was on top of a groaning Mu Lingxi, leaving most spectators with slower reaction times only catching a glimpse of the collision.

As Yang Wei tried to stand up, his hand inadvertently landed on something soft and supple. He couldn’t resist the temptation to squeeze it, feeling it quiver beneath his touch. Each squeeze sent waves of pleasure coursing through his veins, urging him to explore further.

What is this...?

It’s quite soft, and very bouncy...

But at he same time, it’s also very perky, no, firm...

Despite his initial intention to remove his hand, his instincts had other plans, refusing to let go of the tantalizing flesh.

He applied a gentler touch anr felt the firmness of the shapely mound, eliciting a loud moan from Mu Lingxi.

"AahhHhn~ AAahHNn~~!"

Her passionate response came out of nowhere.

"EeyyAAannN~!"

Her moans grew louder, her body trembling with each caress, unable to resist the intoxicating pleasure from Yang Wei’s exceptional dual cultivating physique in general.

Yang Wei lifted his head and saw it was Mu Lingxi. "Eh?"

Her face was painted light pink, yet she looked very embarrassed.

Meanwhile, the referee, witnessing the scene unfold, could only stammer out a barely coherent "S-safe!" She struggled to maintain her focus on the game.

Sun Yuying and Mu Lin reacted simultaneously, jumping from their seats with flushed cheeks as they exclaimed, "Yang Wei, no!"

Their concern wasn’t for Yang Wei hurting himself—unlikely as it was—but rather, neither of them wanted him making too much contact with another woman. Realizing they’d spoken in perfect sync, they exchanged confused glances, their analytical gazes fixed on each other.

Why is she being so defensive over my sweet Wei, only I have that right... Mu Lin thought to herself.

You’d think a lady who is the daughter of a Peak Chief would focus her mind on more important things... yet, here she is doting over Yang Wei. I’m doing it, but it’s totally justified because he saw me, na-nake... *blush* Sun Yuying had some thoughts of her own.

Huo Zhenwei chuckled and adjusted his glasses. "Senior Brother always seems to have the best luck with women. It’s almost enviable," he remarked.

Mu Zhong and Ling Meiyan, seated together, simply chuckled at the collision, finding it amusing but not much else.

Taking his sweet time to get off Mu Lingxi’s soft and curvaceous body, Yang Wei apologized to her, "Sorry about that, looks like I was in a hurry, huh..." he smiled as he spoke.

Mu Lingxi sat up.

He touched my chests, but still... I don’t know why I felt a sudden shift in my meridians.

She instinctively covered her chest with her hands, trying to hide her embarrassment.

Offering a hand to help her up, Yang Wei reassured her, "I hope you’re okay. Let me help you up."

Mu Lingxi looked up at him once the blush faded from her face. "Don’t you dare touch me again!" she said, promptly slapping his hand away and standing up on her own.

Yang Wei remained calm, refusing to let such a trivial matter rile him up.

The many junior disciples in the bleachers who were watching, had one or two things to say.

"The Grandmaster slapped his hand away!"

"Hmm, it seems Senior Brother is not the lady charmer we thought him to be."

"I mean, he has it coming. No one has dared to make a move on a Grandmaster before. It’s crazy!"

"Agreed."

Huo Yue quietly watched this, and a small frown appeared on her face. She placed a hand on her chest and gently squeezed it to suppress a stinging sensation there.

Why... why do I feel a sharp pain in my heart?

She hadn’t felt this way before.

On the other hand, Liu Yan who had just seen this, simply pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed. "Goodness, he’s gotten Junior Sister angry..." she talked like she expected this to happen at some point. "I’ll have to talk with Lingxi later I suppose."

Everyone felt one way or the other about the scene, but the person who felt the most infuriated and jealous, was - Mo Chang.

"Tch!"

He muttered, watching Mu Lingxi and Yang Wei from where he’d thrown the ball. Truly, his face wore an ugly expression; one painted with pure envy.

...

The next celestial batter emerged from the dugout with grace, walking as if she had feet made of gold. Behind her trailed five followers, fussing over her every need, from shielding her from the sun to ensuring her hair was perfectly arranged for any breeze.

This woman, even prouder than Mu Lin, was... Lu Lin.

"Bat," she commanded, holding out her hand.

Instantly, one of her followers placed a dao bat in her grip.

The referee couldn’t help but comment, "I hope you won’t be bringing those women onto the field with you." She looked at Lu Lin with a kind of - "who do you think you are" face.

Lu Lin flicked her hair back with a flourish. "Hmph! As if I need them to hit a celestial run," she retorted confidently, striding onto the celestial base.

She took a batting stance that had zero effort, but hundred out of hundred elegance.

The referee was clearly irked by her attitude but remained silent.

I just want to be done with refereeing this game so I can go back to hiding behind closed doors. Sigh~

Meanwhile, Deng Rulan, watching from the dugout, facepalmed and sighed in exasperation.

"What’s wrong, Sister Deng? Did someone tick you off? Shall I go beat them up..." Hu Meizhen was already pounding her fists aggressively as she spoke. But then she remembered, "Well, unless it’s Senior Brother Yang, then I c-can’t," she rubbed her sore buttocks gently.

Deng Rulan waved off her concerns. "Oh, no, it’s nothing. I’m just realizing our sect has its fair share of idiots," she replied with a wry smile.

The game was on: Mo Chang stood ready to pitch, Lu Lin geared up as the celestial batter, while Yang Wei and Mu Lingxi waited at first base.

Mo Chang seemed fixated on them.

Why does that lecherous worm have to be near her?!

Instead of aiming for a strike, he tossed the dao ball wide, and the catcher snagged it.

But Lu Lin wasn’t even interested in swinging at the dao ball.

"Ball!" announced the referee.

Yang Wei and Mu Lingxi stood together at first base, their expressions telling two very different stories. Mu Lingxi wore a serious game face, her smooth, light-skinned features were focused and determined. On the other hand, Yang Wei sported a calm smirk, clearly enjoying himself.

"So, are you going to keep giving me the silent treatment?" Yang Wei finally broke the silence.

Mu Lingxi didn’t even glance at him. "I don’t know what you’re talking about, hmph!" she replied curtly.

Yang Wei chuckled. "Come on, Lingxi, look at me," he teased.

Still, she refused to look.

Yang Wei couldn’t help but find her childish behavior endearing. "You’re cute when you act like a child. But seriously, when did women in this world start getting mad after an amazing first date with a guy like me?" he quipped.

Mu Lingxi turned to him with a plain gaze. "See? That’s your problem. You think you’re some kind of prime catch every woman wants," she stated matter-of-factly. "You’re barely important to anyone in this sect. Don’t let the way they treat you get to your head.

They’ll turn on you the moment you become a problem."

"Wow, that really hurt," Yang Wei pretended to be wounded, though it was clear he was joking.

Mu Lingxi didn’t buy it. "Save your lies. We both know you don’t have a heart," she retorted.

Just then, Mo Chang pitched the dao ball towards Mu Lingxi. Before she could catch it, Yang Wei stepped on the celestial base. Mu Lingxi tapped her gloved hand against Yang Wei’s chest, then threw the ball straight back to Mo Chang. Even as he played, Mo Chang couldn’t tear his eyes away from the two, growing more frustrated by the moment.

"You know that doesn’t tag me out, right? I stepped on the base..." Yang Wei told her.

Mu Lingxi poked him with her index finger three times on his chest and said, "I know, but I wish I could just tag you out so I won’t have to see your stupid face."

"Lingxi?" Yang Wei tilted his head, confused. "Where’s all this coming from?"

"Hmph!" Mu Lingxi dramatically flicked her face away. "As if I have to explain myself to you..."

Maybe I went a little far with that... she reconsidered.

The heavenly dao ball game didn’t seem important.

Currently, jealousy was everywhere, and one man seemed to be at the center of it all.
