A dark tendril had made its way toward him and had gone past his right shoulder with a clean sound. Jimmy felt a little pinch but no pain, the feeling was rather good to not feel pain but it also made him wonder if he had more wounds other than this that he could not feel but were severe.

Soon, the tendril was pushed out of his body by the ones inside him. It seemed the dark matter may not have wanted him to kill the giant undead but it also didn't approve for his host to get killed.

"Haha... backfiring by your own people huh." Jimmy exclaimed and made his way toward the big blob of darkness. He felt resonated with the things as if it was a part of his body yet outside and in another person's body.

He did not know why but there was a desire to touch the dark matter whose tendrils were deep inside his body but he didn't care.

'I am not human now anyway, might as well go with them all feeling proud of me.' Jimmy thought and

Jimmy made his way toward the dark matter and there came a point when he was face to face with it.

He couldn't help but move his hand toward it in a punch and soon his whole hand was enveloped in it.

"What?" Jimmy didn't have to do anything, the dark matter started moving inside his body and merging with the dark matter.

At first, he felt nothing but disgust but then he started feeling heat inside his body to the point that he thought he was sitting on a stove.

"What the hell!?" The whole dark matter was getting sucked by him and he started to feel that touching the dark matter was bad news and Lucas was right when he said that.

On the outside, the undead was trying to rip his stomach out but even when it wanted to do it, the stomach kept on healing and its hard work was going in vain.

The two girls had their hearts in their necks partying to not let anything happen to their brother.

Lucas was very sad looking at the scene in front of him, he knew whatever the case was. Jimmy was going to win but what came after it was tougher.

The point where he would have to get up and kill him in front of his group was what made him a bit reluctant.

Even if they had just met some moments ago, Lucas found that he wanted Jimmy and his group to join his shelter.

But now that he knew Jimmy was not going to survive no matter what he did, he felt deeply sad and no one else knowing about it made it worse as he couldn't talk it out.

Meanwhile, Jimmy was already unconscious, around 75 percent of the dark matter had fused with his own and his skin had started burning to the point that it had become crisp black.

Outside, the undead's futile attempts to tear through Jimmy's stomach were met with resilient regeneration.

This also was happening in a matter of seconds and no one could do anything as the giant has in short gone berserk on itself. tearing its stomach by gripping the flesh and then doing it, again and again, had it impossible for them to butt in.

Finally, Jimmy integrated fully with the undead while no one knew what was happening from the outside.

Suddenly, the undead closed his eyes and stood straight. Lucas didn't understand at first but then he saw the big body fall down when they were right in front of it.

Lucas fumbled and was going to go straight back to save himself, John, and Ella but to his surprise.

He was picked on John's shoulder very easily while John grabbed Ella's ahn and moved to the side.

Lucas finally understood that he was going to get crushed as he was not going to reach the end quicker than the body falling down completely.

Sandra didn't care for all these messages and ran without her sister toward the undead's body. She came near the stomach of the now dead undead and started looking everywhere to see some twitching of the flesh or something in order for her to know that Jimmy was there struggling to get out.

"G-Get him out! Lucas! Please!" Sandra shouted, her voice trembling with tears and sadness.

She could hardly believe what had transpired, and the thought of her brother being trapped within the undead's monstrous form weighed heavily on her heart.

John's mind was racing with thoughts, trying to find a way to rescue Jimmy, or at least understand what had happened to him.

Lucas on the other hand looked dazed with a dumbfounded expression, no one had noticed but he had already seen it.

In the list of the party members, Jimmy's name was the only one with no mana points, no health bar ad even his name was now light grey in color entailing something that Lycas didn't want to hear.

Lucas looked at both of JImmy's sisters with a heavy heart. He could not believe leaving his sister behind like this and even the thought of it made a mess of his heart.

It was the first time a death had made him so sensitive, seeing the sisters brawl for the last few seconds before the teleport made everyone, even the people like Sean avert their gaze or start brawling in sadness.
