267 – An Important Nibble
The approaching fin glided through the water, and despite the swell of water building up ahead of it, it was just too powerful to be slowed. There was a roar of water behind it that pounded in Brandy's ears, and she knew one thing. If they collided, their little raft wouldn't last even one hit.
Calcine was holding the web-spun sail Sparky had made. Morgan's hurricane winds collected in them in a tight ball, and the swirling mass was shooting them forward into waters that seemed to be going sideways once they built up a decent speed. The whole raft tilted to one side as they surfed along the edge of a rapidly accelerating whirlpool.
"Here she comes! If you got anything in the tank, throw it in now!" Sparky shouted, raising two hands and charging electricity through her fingertips. A crackling yellow ball of energy began to form in her palms, getting bigger the longer she focused it. Water spray splashing over it snapped violently and evaporated in little wisps of smoke as the Galvantula's feet danced over the slippery wooden slats of the raft. It was up to Brandy to anchor Sparky for now; with one hand, she clasped Sparky's two free hands, and in the other, she held onto Calcine's firm bicep. A living chain, the spikes of her hair whipped wildly as Morgan's Hurricane swirled behind the sail.
They were so lucky Gust had upgraded to Hurricane because the longer Morgan kept her Hurricane up, the stronger it got. Every second, the wind in their sails gained a bit more power and piled on an extra lick of speed. It got so intense Morgan had to dip one wing into the water to use as a makeshift rudder, steering the raft to keep it from slicing through the water and smashing itself apart.
Brandy didn't know at what point of the mad dash she started laughing, but she certainly couldn't stop. This was insane! And it was working! They were somehow keeping ahead of the massive fin pursuing them.
"Hurricane's getting a little big to control," Morgan screamed, struggling to keep the raft pointed forward. "Fire that thing already!"
"Calcine, drop sail and throw me back," Brandy said, "We're going to spike it! Sparky Electro Ball now, send it up!"
Calcine let the sail drop, which was immediately sucked back into the Hurricane, and wrenched her round in a curve. Luckily, she had Brandy in the other hand, and she threw Brandy skyward with a heave. The moment Brandy let go of Sparky, she fell, but she had the good sense to release her Electro Ball before she hit the ground and threw it into the air.
It was so disorientating. Brandy could taste the splashes of pool water on her tongue, surprisingly fresh, and the darkness of the room around them made her feel like she'd been cast out into space. A tiny electrical sun floated beside her, crackling with furious power. Brandy was still practicing with her Compound Eyes. Their ability to focus on things was unparalleled, and the challenge was not being overwhelmed by a torrent of information. Everything hung in one moment, Sparky reaching out for Calcine as she tumbled towards the raft's edge. Morgan's Hurricane built up so big it'd swept Morgan off it, and she had one wing skimming the water as she sailed out. The curve of a muzzle surfacing through the water, decorated with golden lines and wickedly sharp fang-like horns down the sides.
Brandy's heart thundered in her chest as she tried to place herself in the tumbling mess. It felt like her arms and legs were in a different country. She took a deep breath, and then she saw the eye of the beast. A glowering red eye on a sea of black cut right to Brandy's core as their gazes met. The golden line slashed across the eye like warpaint, ending in three black gill-like lines.
Brandy felt her stomach twist into a knot. Three Badge Gym challenge her butt! This wasn't just any old Sharpedo! This was the Sharpedo.
So it was incredibly satisfying to see their eyes go wide when Brandy brought down both her fists and spiked Sparky's Electro Ball right toward that glaring eye. The sparks crackled over her hands and made her palms so sensitive she could feel the sweat rolling over them. But that was nothing compared to the impact as the Electro Ball smashed down into the water. The room was flooded in a brilliant flash of light. A wave of heat and force blasted everything, and then a short, sharp rain as water scythed over her skin. Brandy tumbled and twisted through the air before she felt a web snap into her back, and she flailed to try to grab it.
With the grace and poise of a ballet dancer, Sparky kept her footing on the battered raft and spun a thread of silk around two of her arms. Then she pulled the thread taut with her bodyweight, dragging Brandy back towards the raft. She came close, but not quite close enough, and Brandy hit the water like a vengeful comet.
Her stomach jumped right into her mouth. She'd broken the water with her feet and entered smooth, but she'd been going at speed and sunk deep with only half a lungful of air. She panicked and kicked, desperate to break the surface, and felt the rope tug taut. It confused her, and she kicked against it until the obvious reason why settled in. She'd got spun around somehow and was swimming the wrong way, sinking herself instead of heading up. It didn't help the water was in motion around her, the whirlpool dragging her around in circles and completely throwing off her sense of where gravity was.
Something utterly massive floated past her in the foaming water, and it took Brandy a few seconds to recognize the golden-striped fin. She couldn't help but stare as her Compound Eyes locked in, and she finally got a look at their underwater attacker.
She was gorgeous.
The Sharpedo was huge, almost as big as Coalossal Calcine. The tail she was swinging on a deadly pair of thick hips was longer than her whole body, but for all her stockiness, none of it was put to waste. Every muscle was thick with power but no bigger than it needed to be. Her waist was almost slim and sported the most perfect pair of abs Brandy had ever seen on a person. Two rows of six, perfectly firm with a golden cross slashed across them that shone in the water. She had thighs Sparky would have wept tears over, thick and powerful, no doubt to help her build up those blistering swimming speeds. And her chest? She had to be pushing a double D cup, maybe even an E, but those fat tits were so firm it was like her body refused to let even gravity spoil her image of strength.
She was absolutely gorgeous and so serene-looking as she floated through the water. The Electro Ball had knocked her flat out, and as she drifted, Brandy couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed. She'd have loved to meet a Pokémon like this; she looked like they could make a Legendary blush, and they'd knocked her out with one solid hit!
They were way too strong. Blahaj was going to be gutted.
The Sharpedo's eyes snapped open, her red eye darting around in confusion before settling on Brandy. She grinned, and Brandy got a flash of all those sharp fangs gleaming with purple power.
Just dazed! Just dazed! Brandy tugged on the attached web line and tried to pull herself up as the Sharpedo almost lazily flicked her tail and twisted herself towards Brandy. Her eyes locked on Brandy, and Brandy felt her blood run cold as she kicked her feet. There was nothing gentle about that gaze. It was all deep hunger aimed squarely at her.
Oh fuck. Brandy didn't know if she was excited, horny or scared. All three gave her a fit of mad strength to try to break the surface as the breath she held burned in her lungs.
With a flick of her powerful tail, the Sharpedo shot towards her. She moved faster than lightning. One moment, she was far away, and the next, Brandy was between her jaws, stretched so wide they could bite into Brandy's whole flank. The gleaming purple fangs sunk in, and Brandy couldn't help but scream as everything blurred. It wasn't painful, but it wasn't like Morgan's dark pleasures either. The bite sunk through her skin like a ghostly presence, and for Brandy, everything melted away.

Brandy was home. A noisy storm hammered on the windows, only slightly deadened by the duvet that Cherry and Brandy had propped up with books to make a little makeshift fort. They'd snuggled under it, taking turns to read paragraphs from the latest Sharpy book, 'More than Skin Deep’. Cherry was in Brandy's lap, a cute blush on her cheeks as she kept tipping her head back and forth to rest her arms on Brandy's arms. Her weight was so lovely against Brandy's body; she didn't fit neatly, but that made it better. The ways she was different and rubbed against Brandy made her heart hammer in her chest.
As the reading had gone on, they'd progressively become less interested in the book, which was amazing because they'd both been looking forward to it so much. Something about the intimacy of reading it together was so distracting. Then it happened. A moment burned into Brandy's brain, a core memory.
"I want to do this forever." Cherry had whispered. She was so cute. Her cheeks went pink, and she stared at Brandy, waiting for her reply.
"What, cuddle under the duvet?" Brandy asked. She smiled and rested her cheek against Cherry's, enjoying the warmth.
"No," Cherry said, her cheeks going so red that her freckles disappeared. "Silly, I want to be with you forever."
She turned in Brandy's lap and sat upright. Their faces were so close that their noses touched, and they breathed in each other's air. Brandy's heart had raced, and she felt like it was trying to beat out of her chest. She couldn't say anything, her mouth opening and closing wordlessly as she struggled to think. She wished she could find the words, but it was all so hard when it came to Cherry.
"I... I didn't say too much, did I?" Cherry said, panic in her eyes.
This. This Brandy understood.
"You always say the right things," Brandy said, her fingers running through Cherry's hair. "I'm sorry, I can't. But I think I know what I can do."
"H-huh?"
Cherry was like a leaf in Brandy's arms as Brandy leaned forward, felt Cherry's neck on her lips, and then bit ever so gently into the flesh. It was such a rush. The feeling of having someone so vulnerable to her, so trusting. It was a thrill. Her blood pumped in her ears, and as she sunk her teeth in a little firmer, Cherry shivered, moaned, and wrapped her arms around Brandy's shoulders. Her grip was weak, but she tried her best to be firm.
Brandy felt so hot; the air in her lungs was like a flame. Her body tingled everywhere Cherry pressed into her, and the sea scent on her skin was overwhelming. Her hair was like silk between her fingers. She gripped it tight, like a lifeline, and Cherry pulled back.
Drawing her in. Drawing her up.
Brandy emerged for a breath.

"Haul her out!" Sparky yelled, though there was no need as Calcine was already plucking Brandy out of the water. "Quick, quick, quick!"
"What the fuck was that!?" Morgan screamed from above. "She just disappeared again! Where the fuck is she?"
"No idea! Keep us covered from above!" Sparky yelled and then turned her attention to Brandy. The air tasted sweet, and now that Brandy could have as much of it as she wanted, she filled her exhausted lungs.
"What happened? Are you okay?" Sparky asked, her fur buzzing with nervous energy. "You looked completely lost there for a moment."
"She bit me," Brandy said, her head feeling all woozy and foggy. "Psychic Fang, I think. I had a dream about biting. It was good, though. Really good."
"Good as me?" Spark grinned.
"Not that good. But Blahaj," Brandy said weakly, her body still confused about what reality it was even in. "Her Sharpedo. I saw her. She's a Mega."
"Fuck," Sparky said, and her head darted around, trying to spot a fin. "This was meant to be three badge level! Why's she throwing that at us?"
"I think she heard what we did to the other gyms." Calcine said, "She's making us work for this one."
Morgan soared overhead, her winds screeching behind her as she threw her tornado out into the rushing water around them, carving out a line that eventually bounced off the wall with a thunderous crash. The lights above flickered as the room shook.
"We're not going to beat her in the water," Brandy gasped, "She's so fast down there, and her bites are absolutely deadly. We need to change this up."
"Got a plan?" Calcine smiled.
"Oh yeah, I got a plan." Brandy grinned. "You're going to love it."
