Chapter 59 Temple Of Space
Over time All parts of Elias ensued with chaos as the words of Almeron flashed through their minds, men and women alike abandoned their family and friends in hopes of finding his legendary Gods slaying power, while some just saw this as an opportunity to make trouble
However one thing was for sure, the wheels of fate on Elias had suddenly gone into high gear.
And at this moment kneeling in despair on the stage centre was the pope, as he looked towards the cheering crowd he more and more realised the trouble Almerons words had caused
"No no no! This wasn't in the plan, first as well as his lackeys were suddenly taken by his highness Latet and then Almeron!!"
"Damn Almeron!! I don't share the same sky with you!!"
Mumbling to himself, the Pope's breath became more and more haggard as anger and fear of punishment by the God of light began to cloud his judgement
*However, we need to think of how to explain this to his Majesty Helios*
Thinking of his lord who was taunted by Almeron right before his death, the pope suddenly felt his chance of survival were slim
"Darius!!"
Just when the pope had begun to think of countermeasures, a loud voice stating his real name suddenly rang out in his mind
Listening to his real name being called, the pope realised it could only be one person. Without any hesitation, he who was already on his knees further lowered his posture causing his head to touch the ground.
"Your majesty!!"
With his head to the ground, Darius immediately called out to the God of light
And sure enough, at this time a golden figure suddenly appreciated hovering in front of him, it was just that none of the audience seemed to see this figure as most of them had already dispersed with Almerons death
However, as the pope of the church of light, Darius was familiar with the feeling of his lord's presence. So realising that he his lord had already broken through the barrier, he suddenly felt more nervous
"Forgive me my lord!! I have let you down!"
Immediately without allowing Helios to say any words he Immediately started apologising and confessing his faults in hope of a lenient punishment.
Unfortunately it seemed that Helios didn't care about him as he just stood there hovering for a while. Seeing this Darius didn't give up, but rather continued to kowtow towards Helios figure in hopes of forgiveness
And Helios standing in the void although his expression could not be seen, his mind was currently filled with anger
*Damn human! Damn Latet! How dare they play me for fools!*
*And these mortals, how dare they yearn to slay Gods!*
*If not for the protection from the will of the world and their faith, this seat would have already wiped out all mortals and recreated them!*
Cursing in his mind, Helios couldn't help but be in a bad mood as he thought of what just happened
He the God kind was played in by a little upper God and an unknown human. Thinking of this Helios grit his teeth in anger
*And there's this one, the most foolish of them all*
Looking towards the trembling pope, Helios suddenly had a feeling of disgust swell up from inside him
Unfortunately given the fact that Darius was the current head of the church, Helios couldn't just eliminate him without harming the church
Calming down, Helios began to think of how to deal with the current situation
"Darius!"
"Go lead your team, and capture anyone who claims they want to be a God slayer! Anyone who does would automatically be proclaimed a sinner!"
"And search for the whereabouts of those people you captured earlier, and don't think about continuing to be the pope in case you fail any of those two tasks!"
Not giving him a chance to react, Helios Immediately disappeared after giving his instructions, as he had to go and deal with the Gods side of the aftermath of this incident
"Phew~ he's gone!"
Watching Helios figure suddenly disappear, Darius breathed a sigh of relief, however recalling the two tasks he was just given, his face gradually became serious
*It seems I still have a chance to impress my lord*
Realising this, Darius Immediately stood up without hesitation
"Both of you stand up! We have work to do!"
"Go over there and Immediately arrest those sinners!"
Pointing towards the now dispersing crowd, Darius Immediately commanded the two executioners by his side to begin to take action.
And the two of them although confused Immediately went into action upon receiving his orders
Seeing this, Darius serious expression slightly lessened
*Demon lord Elric, you'll definitely regret crossing me and the church of light!"
Realising that Almeron was dead, Darius Immediately decided to put all his hatred on Elric and the rest
Little did he know that the Elric he was cursing, at this time was currently caught in a dilemma.

Somewhere outside the main plane of Elias, a somewhat dormant temple stood in the void. At over fifty feet with all sorts of depictions inscribed on its body, it gave off an aura of mystery as well as power.
At this time, deep within the temple a certain conversation was being Held.
Standing in front of a huge figure covered in golden light was Elric
"Hello? Let me guess you must be Almeron's friend? Latet the God of deceit!"
Looking at the God in front of him, Elric didn't seem to be afraid but rather curious on how Almeron could be friends with a God.
"Haha! as expected as someone Almeron chose to protect, you are one interesting human"
"However it's because interesting people tend to pop out of your race from time to time is why I like humans!"
Looking at Elric's calm demeanour Latet suddenly burst out with laughter.
However, after a few seconds of laughing, Latet's face gradually became serious
"Human, do you know where you are right now?"
Pointing towards their surroundings latete suddenly asked Elric.
Hearing this question, Elirc shook his head slightly expressing the fact he didn't know
Seeing this, Latet just nodded slightly
"I didn't expect you to know, but now you will!
"Let me tell you, the place we're currently in is called…."
After a slight pause, Latet's eyes shone as he said his next words
"The temple of space!"
