"You've gotta be kidding me," August muttered as his eyes scanned the approaching horde. "Two hundred?"

"Okay, so maybe I fucked up," Torin admitted. "But we can fix this, right?"

"Not if we're dead!" Viora squeaked, clutching her staff.

"Enough!" Aria barked. "We're not dying here. Everyone stick together. Drask, Gareth, keep them off us while we figure this out!"

The first wave of undead knights charged forward with unnervingly coordinated movements despite their decayed forms.

Drask and Gareth stepped to the front with their weapons raised.

Gareth blocked hits from the undead soldiers while Drask cleaved them in half with his axe.

Torin nocked his bow, firing glowing arrows at the undead beings while August darted around slicing skeletal limbs off.

Everyone did their best to take down the undead however, after a while their eyes widened in disbelief.

The skeletal beings had their bodies rejoined by an unknown dark force and then began attacking them again.

"What the hell?!" Torin yelled while firing some exploding arrows.

Even after taking down a few undead knights, they rose back up.

"What were you expecting? They're literally called Undead knights," August stated.

"Fuck," Gareth cursed as he pushed some back with his shield.

"We can't keep going like this or we'll run out of energy and mana points," Drask pointed out.

At this point, the Viora cast a spell that spread across the immediate surroundings. Since she was a cleric, it meant she automatically had an upper hand over beings like this.

A clue suddenly appeared as system notifications before everyone.

"So that's it... Let's get it done then!" Drask yelled before charging forward.

August then darted around the surroundings with speed, accurately aiming for their skulls, and piercing the core with each strike.

Due to his assassin speed, he was working quicker than the others.

"I'm starting to see why you brought him along," Gareth voiced before smashing another knight aside with his shield. "Kid's got skills."

"I told you," Aria said with a smirk before firing off a fireball that engulfed two knights completely.

Despite their efforts, the sheer number of knights overwhelmed them. One knight swung its sword at Torin, who barely dodged in time.

Another lunged for Viora, slicing its blade across her shoulder.

"On it!" she replied while casting another healing spell.

August continuously darted between the undead knights, targeting their skulls. The chaos around him was deafening, with metal clashing against bone and spells exploding like fireworks in the vicinity.

Sweat dripped down his brow as he sidestepped a sword aimed at his chest, retaliating with a precise strike to the knight's forehead.

Torin fired arrow after arrow, panting heavily.

"This is all your fault, Torin," Aria snapped before hurling another Inferno Burst at a group of knights and obliterating them. "Do you even *realize* how much time this has cost us?"

"Look, it was an accident!" Torin protested while dodging a sword swipe. "How was I supposed to know it would trigger *this*?"

Without hesitation, he hurled his dagger with all his strength, watching it sail through the air and pierce the knight's skull cleanly.

August wasted no time testing his new skill. He began hurling his dagger with pinpoint precision, striking the exposed cores of knights left and right.
