" What the hell os wrong with me? I can’t believe I am acting like a school girl! I can’t lose my composure!" She screamed inward. Up until now, he had been a perfect gentleman and acted professionally without a hint of insinuation toward anything else.

Their exchange were transactional which meant she was the one having these impure thoughts about him. She had always been smarter than most which was why, she never thought any man could charm her enough to evoke such useless feelings like love.

" That brooch, it is what I think it is?" Someone finally asked. Samuel looked down and smiled mysteriously.

" I was also surprised when I first saw it. I can’t believe you were hiding it when everyone else were racking their mind to find it." Sharon added.

" Is it that special? It’s a beautiful piece but I can’t see anything unique about it." Delphina shrugged. She wasn’t like any typical girl who was interested in jewellery even when her family dealt with them in their subsidiaries.

" I think this pink diamond was a unique bigger piece and was cut into smaller pieces with the center intact to put intho this golden mold. At least that what I heard about it’s history. People say it’s been lost for almost two hundred years with only records of it’s existence in few ancient french paintings." Sharon elaborated.

As a noble this jewellery was quite significant because it’s been liked to the time when the nation was under the rule of the monarch.

" She is right. It’s also rumoured that some duke gave it to Napoleon when he won one of his battles. Although it’s never been proven but in one of the painting, this same piece could bee seen around his chest." Someone else added with a lot of excitement in his voice.

" That’s surprising. Doesn’t it belong in a museum them? How come you are wearing it like it’s normal?" Delphina was shocked. If it had so much history, it should be conserved not flaunt around like common jewellery!

" Relax. It was ina museum albeit it’s a private one. The owner lended it to me for this party because he thought it was best way to make a explosive entrance. Beside it’s been collecting dust for ages." He calmly told them off. It was Fabian who gave it to him. His ancestors had been in possession of it and he wanted to lend it to him for showing mercy when Bratva threatened him that night.

Samuel firmly refused but the old man was quite convincing. He could also afford it even if it was lost, it’s just there was the problem on putting value on something that was deemed ’priceless’.

" Take care of it then. I can see everyone intensely looking at it like it’s the most desired thing in the world! These people would pester you relentlessly so it’s upto you to handle it." Delphina said with a smile.

Why did he need to go above and beyond for her? Wasn’t he content with his face? Even if he walked in here in a shirt and simple pants he would be the most sought after individual, she was sure of it!

The white tux and his impressive attire only made things worse for him. It really made him look like some angel, a being out of this world in most literal sense! He was like a light which all moth were attracted to!

" I was born ready! I can’t wait to see their shocked faces when we will reveal our teump cards." Delphina started to get excited.

" Right, after this party I have to hurry back to attend the fashion party hosted by Chanel. I asked Sharon and she agreed to come so I will appreciate of you also accompany me. It would be much more fun than this uptight event."

" I...I don’t know. It would only make things more complicated. After our announcement, I have to hurry and take control of the situation so that my father and brother couldn’t do anything to harm my position." Delphina commented.
