Max leaned against his pillow as he looked at the notification in front of him. This was a special one, with a slightly different screen from the hologram one, and couldn't be seen by other people.

He clicked the small X on the edge of the screen and looked down. It had just arrived, delivered by a drone, a small box in his hand.

For some reason, he hesitated to open it, especially with Lily still sleeping next to him. He decided to get off the bed, wore shorts, and went to the living room to open the box.

Sitting on the couch, he looked inside. A card was laid on top of a soft cushion. Beside the key was a ticket, something he knew pretty well.

"A <Miracle Ticket>." He muttered, looking at the ticket. He hadn't used the first one yet, but now he got it again. "I will bring this one with me the whole time for emergency and one will stay in the house in case I need it in the future."

He put the <Miracle Ticket> on the table and looked at the card. This was the real problem. He had no idea what this silver card could be used for.

But then, when he flipped it, his lips curled into a grin.

"Wow… System, I was wrong for calling you stingy. So this is the reason why I don't get any quest on top of the existing one for a month."

The reward was better than he thought.

The next day, Lily chose to stay at home to finish her songs again while Max ventured out. His destination was the physical bank in Lime City.

Even though everything was online now, a physical bank was still needed to deal with a more formal matter, such as large amounts of transactions or a reward exchange.

Max planned to visit for the latter.

"Thank you very much."

He exited the taxi and headed to the building in front of him. When he entered, he saw the bank was pretty empty, different from the usual bank in his past life.

Only a few employees worked there. He immediately headed to the teller. When he got close, the teller stood up and smiled.

"How can I help you?"

"Ah yes. Can I exchange a card reward here? I got one from my friend, but I have never exchanged it before so I am quite confused."

"Yes, of course. I can help you with that." The teller said, "May I see the card?"

"It's here." Max handed the card he got from the system to the teller and she began to check it.

When he got it and read the back, he was honestly surprised. This card was what people call a 'Reward Card', often given from one person to the other as a gift. They verified the gift and entrusted it to the bank with a fee.

Because of its surprising nature, many people chose to make their gifts into this Reward Card instead of gifting it directly to another person. The gifts exchanged into this card could vary from a simple item to even an intangible one, like money or vacation.

"I have verified it." The teller returned after scanning the card and put it on the table. "This Reward Card can be exchanged for a 3-day vacation to the southern island for 2 people. Everything is paid for already, including the lodging and travel. Shall I exchange this card for the tickets?"

"Yes, please," Max answered with a happy tone.

The system really knew what he needed. The stress from the party would definitely get into him. What was better to relieve it than a vacation with his loved one?

It really finished in a second. The teller just pressed the card against the hologram screen and she moved it to his front. He entered his email address as instructed by the teller and it finished just like that.

The Reward Card was saved by the teller, and he was free to go. When he checked his email, two vacation tickets were indeed there. He could use them to board a private jet to the southern island on the 21st.

"Well, this is pretty easy." He muttered as he exited the bank.

Initially, he thought the process would be complicated. While he trusted the system, as he got many rewards already, he wasn't sure whether this one would go through because there was a third party involved.

For the record, Max planned to stay out all day. So he was in a bind without any plan now.

'Should I just return and accompany Lily?' He thought, scratching his head, as he walked down the street. 'Playing V-Shelter now is also not that fun without Lily. Yesterday we played too much and encountered too many Infected at once. Haa… That was exhausting.'

Just like any other person with no plan or job, Max decided to stop by the park he found and sat on the bench, enjoying the morning sun. He wasn't sitting by without any thought. On the contrary, he had many things to think about regarding his stream.
