Cain had spent the last few days grinding through mundane tasks to pay off his debt to Fifi. Each step, every chore, and every exercise had slowly chipped away at the burden. But as his CHA (Charisma), DEX (Dexterity), and CONS (Constitution) increased, something changed.

The system responded to his progress, shifting gears and revealing new, more demanding challenges. Cain noticed it first when the familiar ding rang in his head, alerting him to the updated mission list.

Instead of the usual routine of running laps or basic exercises, the tasks had evolved. The rewards had, Idol Points surged, offering a tantalizing boost if he completed them.

The special mission that popped up was insane — too good to pass up. Completing it would net Cain a massive haul of Idol Points, plus a stat boost. But there was a catch — a time limit. And failure? That meant not just missing out, but regressing, losing progress.

Cain gulped, feeling the pressure closing in on him. He only have a week.

"This mission is no joke," he muttered, staring at the blinking countdown on his monitor.

"Oh? The tasks and special mission changed?" Fifi chimed in, floating beside him with her usual carefree attitude. She blinked at the screen. "That's great! It means the system is evolving. The more you level up your stats, the more complex tasks and missions become.

Naturally, the rewards will scale with that."

"If the system's evolving, then maybe the items in your shop have upgraded too, right?" Cain asked as he considered his options. "Anything new in stock? Something that can help me find my voice?"

Fifi giggled, waving him off dismissively. "I told you, there's no magic cure for that. Besides, you still haven't paid off your debt yet. You still owe me 200+ Idol Points."

Cain grimaced. "Cut me some slack. I need these points to level up my stats. Show me what new items in your shop, then."

With a grin, Fifi swiped her hand across the air, bringing up her holographic shop window. "Well, I do have new potions."

Cain raised an eyebrow, skeptical. "Potions, huh? I hope one of them can cure cancer or something," he jest.

"Not quite yet," Fifi said, winking playfully. "But I do have, Energy Boosters, and, Positivity Candies. Want to buy some?"

Cain crossed his arms. "What do they do, exactly?"

"The Energy Boosters restore all your stamina in one gulp — 10 Idol Points each. The Positivity Candies help you think positively, clear your head, and focus better. They're 5 Idol Points a piece."

Cain shook his head. "Both sound useless right now. Got anything more . . . practical?

Something for my voice?"

Fifi nodded with a sly smile. "Actually, I do."

Cain's eyes lit up, rubbing his hands together. "Now we're talking. What is it?"

"It's called, Voice Enhancing Juice," she announced, as if it were some grand treasure.

"Perfect! What does it do?" Cain leaned in, hopeful.

Fifi twirled in the air and pointed to the item. "It cures sore throats."

Cain's excitement instantly deflated. His shoulders slumped. "Really? That's it? The name is so misleading."

Fifi burst into laughter. "What? Did you think it was going to make you sing like a pro overnight? You've got to put in the work for that, Cain. There are no shortcuts."

Cain groaned. It was back to grinding for him.

"Hoi! C.C.! You've been in that toilet for an hour! Who are you even talking to?!" Damien's voice echoed from the other side of the door.

Cain let out a deep breath, staring up at the ceiling in exasperation before stepping out. As soon as he opened the door, Damien's irritated face greeted him.

"What were you doing in there, huh? And who the hell were you talking to?" Damien asked, peeking into the bathroom suspiciously. He found nothing but a faint echo.

Cain didn't bother to answer, brushing past Damien without a word.

"Weirdo," Damien muttered under his breath, shaking his head as he stepped into the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind him.

The rest of the day went by in their usual routine, but today there was a twist. Cain, along with everyone else who scored below 100, was gathered in an empty hall. It was clear from the start that something was different.

The instructors had divided them into two groups: those who scored above 100, and those who didn't. It was a clear-cut division — the elites versus the underdogs.

"I wonder who our new mentor is going to be?" someone muttered in the back.

"I heard from those snobby trainees at the top that it's someone out of our league — someone we couldn't hope to reach even after a hundred years."

"For real?" another replied, eyes wide with disbelief.

"If those snobs said something like that, then he's got to be amazing, right?"

"Apparently, it's a she," came a hushed whisper, sparking more interest.

Leo's ears perked up at the mention of a female mentor. He glanced over at Cain, nudging him with an eager grin. "What do you think, C.C.? Knowing RRR, they wouldn't send just anybody, right?"

Cain shrugged, but his mind raced. Whoever it was, he hoped she could help him find his voice. He had only a week left, and everything he had tried so far had been a dead end.

The heavy doors to the studio creaked open, and every head in the room snapped toward the entrance.

The anticipation was thick, hearts racing as they waited for the figure to emerge. Conversations halted, breaths held in suspense.

The moment the new mentor stepped in, the entire hall fell silent, jaws dropping in shock. Eyes widened as the identity of the person standing in the doorway became clear.
