Chapter 960 - Die!
"Done."
After treating him for two hours, Silvia finally released him and took out a mirror.
He was amazed by his current appearance. Unlike his usual short golden hair, he had long blue hair. His body builds also matched the second young master of the Grayfig Family, Gasha Grayfig.
"This…" Alex touched his face as if he was touching his real skin, so he asked. "Can you explain how this actually works?"
"I altered your bone and flesh with my technique. Of course, this is not perfect. I need to supply the hormone and other things inside your body. You can only impersonate him for a week unless you want to permanently change."
"I see. A week of this world's time, right?"
"Yes."
"Then, it will be fine. I can finish this problem within the time limit." Alex nodded. "I will probably use the Teleportation Array Plate, considering Aria doesn't know about my space element yet."
"Or you can have me act like I am the one creating the array." She smiled.
Alex looked at her for a second before shaking his head. "No. Let's go with the array plate first. I don't really want to open all my cards this soon."
"I understand. I shall follow your decision. Anyway, I will be leaving the sect as Mya before returning to my original appearance."
"Alright. You might not have any more scenes to play." Alex nodded.
"I want to confirm this…You are going to kill everyone that chases him other than one or two people, right?" She asked with a serious expression.
"Yeah."
"Alright then."
As soon as Silvia finished, Alex decided to return first without talking to Aria. He only stayed there to cultivate while thinking about this matter once again to make sure everything went according to the plan.
After finishing their preparation, they gathered in the field.
"Give me the token to know his direction." Alex stretched his hand toward Aria.
Not knowing why he asked for that because they should be flying already, she still handed the token to him, only to find herself surprised by what Alex took out after that.
It was the Teleportation Array. They needed at least a week just to return to the Cypress Family, so the time was quite tight. That was why Aria wasn't satisfied with their judgment.
Alex activated the Teleportation Array without paying attention to her emotion. He only told her, "You should reserve your strength. Did I train your Sword Eye too much to the point you will use that Sword Eye this easily?"
"Ah?!" Aria suddenly realized what she had done in the past few weeks. After knowing that she could see the world for two hours with her full strength, she often took a peek when it wasn't the time for training.
It was normal for her to be curious and wanted to do it, but Alex asked her to suppress that desire because the training menu was perfect. With her using the Sword Eye, it would mess the menu up.
Even so, just like how a person felt like buying something for themselves when they got their first payment, Aria still sneakily took a glimpse, ignoring Alex's advice.
Alex didn't mention it for a long time until he found that Aria had gone too far. Just like how she easily read the letter and other things, he had the need to correct her even if this action looked displeasing.
"Right. You should take care of yourself. In my experience as a doctor, ninety percent of my dying patients actually died because they chose to ignore my advice and decided to have something I forbid. That's why I always make a contract with them that they won't make me accountable if they sneakily do something bad." Silvia added, lecturing Aria.
She could understand Aria's feelings, but this was something that needed to be done.
"I-I understand." She looked down, feeling guilty and sad.
Silvia smiled and patted her head. "Don't worry. You will have your chance after getting my treatment in the future. You will see the whole world without needing the Sword Eye any more, so you need to endure your desire for now."
"I'm sorry."
They talked like this while teleporting. Alex still needed time to activate the Teleportation Array, so they had time to talk like this while teleporting.
Luckily, Alex already grasped enough information about this world, so he could use the Teleportation Array without risking someone finding them on the way.
After around five Teleportation Array, Alex felt there was no need to use it anymore because they only needed around one day of flying to reach the forest.
"The forest is in that direction. Let's go." Alex commanded.
The two girls nodded.
Alex chose to fly for a day to come up with their role-playing. He instructed Aria with whatever she needed to do to shift the blame from her Cypress Family to the Grayfig Family.
Although Silvia could alter one's memory, it would be easier to tweak instead of altering since the person who got his memory tweaked would believe it easier than the latter method.
Aria kept noting every important aspect in her mind.
It took them six hours before they finished their plan.
After that, they didn't talk about anything until they reached a certain area the next day.
It was a huge mountain that pierced the cloud, but Alex found something more amazing inside. Unlike other mountains in his surroundings, this one had powerful ice energy in the center of the mountain.
'Wait a minute. Is this the sign of the Eternal Ice Flower? Now that I think about it, I have never gone on an exploration for godly items, right? If only I use my Spirit Eyes continuously while going around the world, I would surely find something hidden like this, no?' The doubt raised in his heart as he cursed himself from being a fool.
He should have thought and done this since long ago, but the idea just appeared in his mind. If he ignored the past and focused only when the time he had evolved his Spirit Eyes to the highest degree, he would have been searching for treasures since the Upper World.
Alex was completely baffled as to how he couldn't think something this simple. However, he soon noticed something was wrong.
Next to the powerful Divine Energy from the Eternal Ice Flower, Alex found a few dots of energy. There were a total of thirty people inside the mountain.
Alex recognized two of them instantly. The first one was the monster. Due to the difference between humans and monsters, it was easy to spot one.
Luckily, the monster seemed to be far away from the other group, albeit this group was a bad deal.
The second dot he recognized was in that group. After knowing him and remembering the man called Adrian from the exchange inside the Cypress Family, Alex could easily find him among the crowd, but it became a dilemma instead when he found his energy slightly low.
At the same time, the others seemed to be ganging up on him, so the time limit basically disappeared.
"This is not good. The group has entered the cave and made contact with your brother. We need to find the cave entrance and save him. If it's too long, I am afraid they will kill him." Alex warned them.
Silvia wanted to know how he could gather such information, but it was for a later time. Meanwhile, Aria couldn't control her emotion and ask. "Where is the entrance?"
"You shut up! If you can't calm down, I am going to send you away from here!" Alex shouted. "I am not a cold-blooded person, but I know how to act logically! Is this what I have taught you this whole time?"
Aria's body shook, and she gritted her teeth while calming herself down.
Alex and Silvia used their eyes and perception to check the flow of energy, finding the same exact spot. They both pointed in a direction not far from here. "There."
Exchanging looks, they nodded at each other as if agreeing with their direction.
"Let's go!" Alex commanded and led the group, finding the entrance a few seconds later.
They immediately headed inside as fast as possible. After another one minutes, they found the group they were looking for that seemed to be beating someone. There, Alex and Aria recognized one Rank 10 God while Aria opened her eyes and found Adrian in the center of the crowd with wounds covering his body.
"Adrian!" Aria shouted while releasing her Purgatory Sword, so they would leave Adrian.
Seeing this, the Rank 10 God beside them protected the entire group while the rest retreated a few steps back.
Aria instantly appeared next to Adrian and checked his body's condition. She subconsciously checked him with her eyes, leaking the Sword Qi that accidentally brushed their skin, especially Perona's, and this angered her.
"You!" Perona released her killing intent.
'Alex. It seems we need to change our plan.' Silvia raised a doubt with the thought transmission as they appeared not far from Aria to protect her.
Alex could understand her concern. He thought he could eliminate one at a time, so he could simply use his strength to eliminate them. However, it would be a different case if the whole team was here.
'I have a suggestion. I will handle the Rank 10 God while you kill the rest. We will leave the one on the left alive. I can infuse the memory with me being the peak master to confuse that person. Although it has its own risk, I think their backing should know to not meddle with Aria.' Silvia offered a solution.
'And since they need to keep their image or whatsoever, they will shift the blame to the Grayfig Family.' Alex agreed. 'I understand. Please.'
'Sure thing.' She smiled and covered her face with her hand. "To think there is someone who dares to touch my Sword Blossom Peak's Favorite Disciple's brother. This is ridiculous. I have investigated you and your Grata Family, but it seems the Grata Family doesn't put me in their eyes, so I will use this as a warning."
Her face slowly turned into that of Ilevis. Her cultivation gradually rose from 5-Star Martial Saint to Rank 5 God because Alex played along by removing the seal at the right timing.
"This…" Only the Rank 10 God could sense the Divine Energy inside her. No one had yet to realize the fact that this woman was actually a Rank 5 God.
Because of that, Perone still maintained her almighty attitude and ignored everything. She didn't even hear Silvia's words.
"I am going to kill you!" She shouted while releasing a Sword Wave, never bothered herself to check Aria's current cultivation stage. Her hate for Aria over something petty was already too much, so she thought she should kill the little brother on her arm first so Aria would fall into despair.
"Young—" The Rank 10 God couldn't react when he realized Silvia's Divine Energy was locked onto him.
The veins were bulging on her forehead after seeing Adrian's state. She couldn't stand seeing Adrian's current state. It was horrible.
"Adrian…I am sorry for leaving you this whole time. Just take your time and relax. Your sister will deal with the problem first." She gently smiled while stroking his head.
"Sister…" Adrian raised his finger, trying to warn her about the Sword Wave.
Aria only smiled at him, telling him everything would be alright.
When the Sword Wave was about to hit her, Aria turned her head toward the Sword Wave and obliterated it as if it was cut by a sword.
"Wha—" The woman was obviously shocked. She couldn't see what Aria just did to destroy her attack.
However, the latter gradually rose from the ground, opening her eyes completely at this moment. It sent a powerful shock wave to the surroundings as if there were numerous swords piercing their body.
All the people, including the Rank 10 God, stood still. The hair on their hands was standing while their body was shaking, especially when they saw Aria opening her eyes.
"All of you are going to die."
Upon that world, immeasurable killing intent filled the cave.
