Chapter 875: Chapter 875:- Members of League of Black Tomb



"That's where you two stop!!" Aditya and Riya looked at the two figures who blocked their paths.

'Who are they?' Both of them were wearing black cloaks. Both of them were Peak 5th-order cultivators.

"Who are you?" Riya asked in a cold tone. From this point, she could faintly see a figure sitting under a large Oak tree. This figure had the same dark sinister that she previously sensed from the cursed seeds.

"Your Majesty, it's an honor to meet you finally."

"I am Atlas Skystone." Atlas removed the hood covering his head, allowing Aditya and Riya to see his face and appearance clearly.

Atlas was a handsome man with a well-trimmed black beard and mustache. His green eyes were the most attractive feature of his face.

"Let me guess. You two are from the League of Black Tomb?" Only people from that crazy organization would do something like this, at least based on their past actions and behaviors.

"Since you already know, then let's not waste any time." Atlas and his female partner, Aine Lunara, removed their black cloaks.

Atlas was wearing a golden full-body armor that covered almost every part of his body. The only places that weren't covered by the golden armor were his throat, neck, and face.

As for the elven woman named Aine, she only wore a black chest plate.

It was clear that her role in this fight was going to be a supporting one since she was standing a few meters behind the man. Her main weapon was a grimoire, which was a dark purple book. The book was open and glowed in a bright light.

The grimoire was floating just a few inches from her right palm.

"Riya, go and check on that mysterious person who is sitting under the large oak tree."

"I will handle them." Aditya was confident in his powers. Even when he was just a Peak 3rd- order, he was killing Peak 5th-order members of their organization. And now that he is a Peak 4th-order cultivator, his powers have only grown.

"Alright! Take care of yourself." Riya began flying towards the 3rd target.

"No, you don't!" The man and the woman blocked her path.

But then Aditya teleported before Riya and attacked them with a massive Crimson flame wave.

The woman hurriedly murmured a few words before a hexagon-shaped transparent barrier formed before them.

Aditya grabbed Riya and teleported her in front of the elven woman sitting under the shade of a large Oak Tree.

"Be careful! This woman seems to be conducting some kind of ritual." Aditya said, noticing the massive magic circle around the oak tree. The magic circle was so faint that he almost didn't notice it.

The only reason he did is because he is a Runemaster. Though, this magic circle wasn't made up of runes. It was created using an entirely foreign language, one that dark mages often used to perform dark rituals.

"This circle is for a powerful dark ritual." As the Goddess of Nature, she could feel how powerful this magic circle was.

"Well, take care!!" Aditya teleported in front of Atlas and Annie. Meanwhile, the woman silently stared at Riya.

Aditya teleported before them. "Before we begin, I have a question."

"What is the aim of the League of Black Tombs?" It was clear to Aditya that they wanted the Crown of Seven Seas that he possessed.

"Last time I checked, some people from your organization were after a certain pearl. It makes me wonder what is your real purpose."

"Haha!! It's interesting that you know so much despite knowing so little about our organization."

Unlike the woman standing behind Atlas, who was on guard and cautiously watching Aditya, Atlas appeared completely at ease. His demeanor was carefree. Despite knowing how powerful the Dragon Monarch was, Atlas showed no fear, as if he believed himself

untouchable.

While he was focused on defending, a small black snake appeared out of nowhere. The snake coiled around Aditya's left leg.

Sensing the immense danger from the snake, he covered his entire body with Crimson flame.

The snake tried to bite him but ended up being burned to ashes in a few seconds.

Aditya retreated after taking another punch from Atlas.

'I am starting to understand his tricks.' He was confident that just a few more minutes would

effectively.

"And Yes, I am the one who did all of this." Anna stood up to face Riya.

"Why?" Riya asked. She was very angry.

"I hate elves."

"I am Half-elf!!" Anna's voice was slightly louder. Being called an Elf pissed her.

"Princess, just because I was a Half-elf, I was bullied my entire. I even lost my child and husband because some extremists did not like the fact that we lived in the same town as them." Anna's eyes were filled with tears as she continued to speak.

"I understand that there are scums within our race, but that doesn't justify your actions."

"There are evils in every race, in every corner of the world. But does that mean we should wipe out entire races just because a few among them have fallen to darkness? If we judged every race by its worst, then none would deserve to exist." The more Riya spoke, the angrier Anna

became.

The initial guilt of doing this to their Goddess started to fade with anger. "You're not delivering justice-you're committing an atrocity, blinded by hatred that will only breed more hatred." At this point, she was trembling in anger. Her eyes were red.

"Shut up! You don't know what I have gone through."

"You have no right to lecture me."

Riya noticed the magic circle had gotten a lot brighter.

Before the Goddess could react, tens of thousands of transparent white chains came out of the

magic circle and started wrapping around Riya.

"What is this?" Riya felt her powers starting to weaken the very moment the magic circle

activated.

When thousands of chains wrapped around her body, she was horrified to discover that she could not move her body or use any of her powers. Her connection to nature was also starting

to weaken.

She screamed out in pain as she felt a part of forcefully being extracted from her body.

"It's work.....working....!!" Anna couldn't believe it.

To think, there was a kind of dark spell that could work against the Goddess of nature.

Meanwhile, Aditya dodged another powerful punch.

Before Atlas could go for another one, Aditya teleported behind him and punched him in his

lower spine.

In that second, he also moved his head to the right and grabbed the poison-coated arrow that

the woman fired at him.

For a while, this woman has been trying to poison him.

While fighting both of them, for very few seconds, he looked in Riya's direction to make sure

that everything was under her control.

'I have a strange feeling about this whole situation.' Aditya thought as he continued to

exchange blows with Atlas.

'This whole thing feels too easy.' This was making his heart restless. He felt something was

wrong.

He kept remembering the faint marks of the magic circle that he saw around the oak tree.

'What if.....!!' Aditya looked towards Riya while blocking another of Atlas's attacks. He could

faintly see something glowing on the ground.

"Don't ignore me!!" Atlas was furious at the fact that Aditya was ignoring him. He gathered mana in his palm and punched Aditya's face with full power.

But the punch never hit him as Aditya suddenly teleported behind Aine.

Aine's body stiffened.

The grimoire fell from her hand.

While coughing a large mouthful of blood, she looked down.

There it was.

The claws of the Dragon Monarch.

"I would have severed your head in this case, but today, I don't have time, but next time, I

will finish the job."

He then disappeared.

Aine was about to fall to the ground when Atlas managed to grab her.

"It looks like we have failed," Aine murmured in a low tone. She was disappointed in herself

gently fell on his chest. He gently wrapped his arms around her waist.

Anna was on her knees.

"You don't deserve any forgiveness." Anna's eyes met his red, cold eyes.

Aditya put his palm over her head.

Slowly, the temperature of her body started to rise.

"Stop...!!!"

Without any arms, Anna couldn't resist or move away.

fortunately, you arrived in time and saved me." Other than feeling weak and exhausted, Riya was fine.

A woman was sitting on a stone in a dark place filled with countless fireflies.

Her eyes were closed, and she seemed to be meditating.

After an unknown period of time, she opened her eyes and looked into the darkness.

"Someone is targeting me....!!"

"Enough time have passed, it's time for me to go out of this place."
