Moving over to the cultivation mat in the middle of the room, Chu Yang picked up the scroll next to the mat with a hopeful expression on his face. Praying sincerely that the language for the scroll was the same as the one he was familiar with.

Luckily for him, it turned out to be the same.

Well… Not exactly the same, but at least it was at a level that he could understand. Far more recently created compared to some of the more ancient texts he had encountered during his journey through the mystic realm so far.

"Cultivation Compendium…?" Muttering this to himself as he started reading through the scroll, Chu Yang could not help showing a bit of a surprised expression on his face as he realized what was written inside of the scroll he had just found.

All the way from the Qi Condensation Realm to the Pinnacle of the Soul Ascension Realm, it was a short and detailed description of all the realms before the Dao Seed Realm.

However, the shocking part was not so much the information about the realm he already knew about, but instead it was the fact that the descriptions inside of the scroll also contained information on the Dao Domain Lord Realm- Or more specifically, the two paths of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

Among the two paths, one focused on the comprehension of a single Dao, while another focused on the comprehension of myriads of Daos, thus the name of the two paths. The Singular Dao Domain Lord Realm Path and the Myriad Dao Domain Lord Realm Path.

Although he had already learnt a bit about the Dao Domain Lord Realm from his master, he had not yet learnt much about what the realm itself was about so to speak, something he expected his master would be teaching him when he returned to the sect now that he had officially reached the Peak of the Domain Lord Realm and was looking towards either reaching the Soul Ascension Realm or the Dao Domain Lord Realm to continue increasing his own strength and cultivation realm.

With that in mind, Chu Yang didn't waste much time after learning that the scroll contained information on the Dao Domain Lord Realm, as he dived into the information and began reading through it with interest. Almost completely forgetting about his current situation in the process.

In the end, he managed to learn that although the scroll did contain information on the Dao Domain Lord Realm and the two paths of the realm itself, it wasn't anything beyond the Initial Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

At most, it contained enough information for him to attempt a breakthrough to the Initial Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm following one of the two paths described.

Of course, he had no intention of doing so at the moment, as he still planned to first return to the sect and consult with his master before he made any decision on what path he would follow in the future, be it one of the two paths of the Dao Domain Lord Realm of the Soul Ascension Realm.

Unfortunately, as he continued reading through the scroll and learnt more about the Dao Domain Lord Realm, he also found out that the restriction placed on the teleportation formation was one for cultivation.

If he wanted to leave the cultivation room, he would have to first breakthrough to the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

To be honest, this was a rather surprising revelation, as it made him realize that the maze he had just barely managed to get through was actually some kind of trial that should have been designed for someone around his level of strength.

Although… After thinking things through, he guessed that the situation inside of the maze might have been a bit different in the past when it had still been actively used.

One difference being the strength of the demon beasts might have been lower, as he couldn't imagine anyone in the Domain Lord Realm facing off against demon beasts in the Dao Seed Realm- Or stronger for that matter.

If anything, it was likely that the demon beasts trapped inside of the maze had remained trapped in there for an extremely long time… And together with the ample supply of spiritual qi keeping them alive, had been able to cultivate all the way to their current realm.

The ones who had managed to make it out of the maze might have found some flaw in the formation that they could take advantage of to escape, their weakened strength after leaving the maze might also be the result of some kind of prize, they needed to pay for forcibly leaving the maze…

No matter what it was, it didn't change his current situation much, as he still had to find a way out of the cultivation room that he now found himself trapped inside of.

However, after spending another few minutes looking around the room, he ultimately decided to go along with the original purpose of the cultivation room and breakthrough to the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

Even if it was a bit unexpected and he didn't really want to do it without his master's guidance, he didn't really have much of a choice, as he didn't plan on trying to break through the maze again or waste away inside the cultivation room hoping that his master would find him after finding out he was missing for a bit too long.

"Singular Path or Myriad Path…" Muttering this to himself as he looked over the two options he had when it came to entering the Dao Domain Lord Realm, Chu Yang could not help trying to think about what path his master had chosen.

One focused on enhancing a single Dao, while another focused on multiple Daos.

Given that his master seemed proficient in several different Daos, it wasn't hard for him to guess that his master should be a Dao Domain Lord following the Myriad Path.

Although a part of him also wanted to go down this path upon realizing this, he quickly stopped himself after reading through the introduction of the two paths.

Even though it was a bit subtle, it was clear that the myriad path was far more difficult and dangerous compared to the singular path.

The most difficult part when it came to the singular path for the Dao Domain Lord Realm and the place where it was by far more difficult than the myriad path according to the information in the scroll, was the Initial Stage.

Instead of using several domains and merging them together to form a dao domain, he would have to forge a dao domain.

The two sounded similar but forging a dao domain was far more difficult than just comprehending different Daos up to the level of forming domains and forcibly merging them together.

First of all, he would have to comprehend a dao to the Elementary Realm, something that was difficult to accomplish in the Domain Lord Realm, but something he had already done at this point in time. Having reached the Elementary Realm in the Dao of the Spear.

The next part was a material requirement for forging a dao domain, requiring a source crystal and a large quantity of spiritual qi.

In other words, the original purpose of the source crystal and the spirit stones he had found and already placed inside of his interspatial ring.

Last and also the most worrying in Chu Yang's opinion, was that he needed to comprehend two supporting Daos to assist his primary dao and strengthen it. Not to the level of his primary dao, not even to the level of forming a domain, but he needed to at least have comprehended two other daos to a level comparable to someone who had formed a pseudo domain.

This should not be too difficult for him to accomplish, but he felt a bit worried when he noticed that the scroll clearly mentioned that the Daos he chose when forging his dao domain would influence his comprehension of his primary dao and his future foundation and progress through the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Meaning he would have to choose something compatible with the Dao of the Spear if he wanted to go beyond the Initial Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm in the future.

At the same time, he couldn't choose something he was completely unfamiliar with and hadn't even begun trying to comprehend, as that could cause him to remain stuck for an unknown period of time. Possibly hundreds of years, if the new dao he chose to comprehend ended up being one he had difficulty comprehending.

"Two daos I'm familiar with, but also fit well with the Dao of the Spear…" Muttering this to himself as he thought about the different techniques and combat arts he had learnt over the years and the Daos associated with them, Chu Yang soon found his answer...
