Chapter 45: 45 : Banquet_2
Three magnificent Magical Beasts pulling grand carriages came to a halt beside Gunther Wverynspear's carriage.
These Tier 3 Magical Beasts exuded a powerful presence that filled the entire entrance of the restaurant.
The Abyss Tiger, not to be outdone, increased its aura, intensifying the pressure even more. Three individuals emerged from the carriages - two young men and a woman in their twenties, all exuding an air of Nobility.
One young man wore elegant purple attire, another sported luxurious blue and white clothes, and the young woman donned a stunning green dress that accentuated her figure.
Her long green hair cascaded down to her waist, and she held a wooden staff adorned with colorful gemstones.
"Gunther, I didn't expect you to arrive first. Are you that eager to see Seraphine?" the young man in purple said with sarcastic a smirk.
Gunther Wverynspear shot him a cold glance. "Sigurd, I didn't anticipate your presence either. I thought you'd be too embarrassed to show up after losing to Seraphine three years ago."
Sigurd's smile faltered, his expression stiffened, and his face became quite unsightly. Gunther's words poked his sore spot, what happened three years ago was the most humiliating and embarrassing in his life.
Remembered what happened three years ago, his face became even more unsightly.
He clenched his fists, emitting crackling sounds as a brutal and bloodthirsty aura surrounded him.
Gunther smirked disdainfully. "What! You want to fight? Oh, but now that I remember you also lost to me. I don't waste my time on defeated opponents."
Sigurd's eyes flashed with killing intent as he gritted his teeth, but Gunther met his gaze fearlessly, his own aura rising as he stared back coldly.
"Alright, enough of this. Today is important, so can you two set aside your grudges?" a voice interjected, the young man who wore the blue and white clothes stepped forward.
" Wilhelm this is none of your business so stay out of it " Sigurd shot a cold at the blue and white clothed young man called Wilhelm.
"Sigurd Wilhelm is right today is an important day so put away your grudges, this is not the place to fight you will have many opportunities to fight this is just not the right place and time " the young woman wearing green clothes said as she looked at both Gunther and Sigurd.
"Just do as Alura said and stop this, do you want to further embarass yourself again" Wilhelm shook his head.
Sigurd silently looked at Wilhelm and Alura with narrowed eyes, cold light flickered in them.
A moment later he shot a cold glance at Gunther and retracted his aura. Gunther also stop releasing his aura, he nodded slightly at Wilhelm and Alura.
The crowd around heaved a sigh of relief when both Gunther and Sigurd retracted their aura, both of them were simply terrifying the pressure emitting from them was too intense for them to handle, some of them backs were already soaked with cold sweats.
" Ok let's get inside I'm some of the guests have already arrived " Wilhelm smiled as he looked at Alura and said with a gentle a smile.
" Ok " Alura smiled back as they made their inside the restaurant.
Sigurd grunted he looked up at the plaque hanged above the restaurant," Origin Restaurant what an arrogant name " He smiled coldly and entered the restaurant.
Gunther shot him a disdainful smile, shook his head and also walked inside the restaurant.
The moment all of them entered the restaurant, the crowd who were originally silent, erupted into loud discussion as they talked among themselves.
"Thi..this.. these people are really powerful" a man said in the crowd said Ina trembling voice.
"They sure is, I almost couldn't breath in their presence " another voice echoed.
"Their auras was simply intense, I almost suffocated to death " another person said with fear.
"How do they cultivate anyway, they are simply too powerful " a person sigh.
"Damm, how can the gap between people be so huge " another person said in amazement.
The crowd was abuzz with excitement as they chatted amongst themselves.
Suddenly, another powerful presence descended upon them as a massive Magical Beast pulled up in front of the restaurant, drawing everyone's attention.
A stunning young woman emerged from the carriage, casting a curious glance at the restaurant before making her way inside.
This scene repeated itself as more and more impressive Magical Beasts arrived, each pulling a luxurious carriage and carrying equally impressive individuals.
The onlookers were in awe as Tier 3 Magical Beasts continued to arrive, each more magnificent than the last.
As time passed, the crowd grew larger and more carriages arrived, each occupant exuding a powerful aura.
Then, an hour later, a palpable sense of dread filled the air as a massive Magical Beast, made its grand entrance. The beast was simply massive, towering over the onlookers and sending shivers down their spines.
Some of the onlookers face turned pale with intense fear in their eyes, some of them couldn't even stand properly as their legs tremble as they slumbed to the ground.
" Thi..thi..this..Isn't that the Ice Spirit Horse, a Tier 4 Magical Beast?" one man stammered, his voice trembling with fear.
"Yeah, only one power in Bridgemoor City could command and use such a beast to pulled a carriage," another man replied, his eyes wide with shock.
"The Netherfrost Clan!" they both said in unison, their voices filled with awe and fear.
The crowd watched in awe and fear as the Ice Spirit Horse slowly made its way to the restaurant. Frost began to spread, freezing everything in its path, even the fountain at the entrance. The onlookers shivered, their teeth chattering from the bone-chilling cold.
Finally, the Ice Spirit Horse came to a stop and a trembling valet opened the door.
Out stepped a stunningly beautiful girl with pure white crystal hair and a delicate snowflake symbol on her forehead.
She wore a long crystal dress that accentuated her beauty, her face cold yet hinting at hidden emotions. The girl entered the restaurant followed by a middle-aged man in black.
As another valet led the Ice Spirit Horse away, the onlookers whispered in curiosity.
"Who is that?" one asked through chattering teeth.
"I think I know," another replied, taking a deep breath.
"Who?" they all wondered.
"Seraphine Netherfrost," the man said solemnly, causing the onlookers' eyes to widen in astonishment.
--------------------------
Inside the restaurant, as Seraphine Netherfrost and Houston entered, Felix was already standing there and greeted them with a smile.
"Welcome, Miss Seraphine. Nice to see you again."
"Nice to see you again too, Mr. Felix," Seraphine Netherfrost replied, her cold face softening into a smile.
"Please Miss Seraphine follow me ".Without wasting any more words, Felix led them to an exclusive wooden elevator behind the stone white desk.
Within minutes, they arrived at the third floor and were led to the banquet hall.
Inside the banquet hall, the event was grand, spanning almost 1,000 square feet.
The hall was beautifully decorated with exquisite decorations that took the ambiance to another level. White marble floor tiles covered the ground, while large windows on both sides let in natural light.
Giant crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, casting a warm glow over the room.
Tables were set up throughout the hall, and many guests had already arrived. They were all dressed elegantly, exuding a noble air. Beautiful women and handsome men mingled, chatting and laughing.
Waiters in white tuxedos and gloves served wine and beverages to the guests, who formed their own circles of conversation.
The atmosphere was sophisticated and refined as the guests enjoyed each other's company.
" Why is that Seraphine taking so long to get here, does she thinks all of us have the time to wait for her " Suddenly a disgruntled voice sounded across the entire hall.
Suddenly the noisy hall fell silent as everyone turned and looked at the one who spoke with weird gazes but when they saw who speak, some of them immediately turned their heads away.
While some of them disdainful smiles, some also have interesting and joking smiles playing on theit lips as if waiting to see a good show.
"Sigurd can you shut up! Nobody pressured or force you to come here if you want you can go back and believe me no one will stop if you want to get out if here" Gunther who was standing at the corner of the hall growled.
"That arrogant bastard",Wilhelm, who was sitting at a table with Alura, shook his head.
"Gunther, mind your own business," Sigurd shouted at him.
"What? I was just speaking the truth. No one forced you to come here, and I don't think many people wanted you here either," Gunther smirked.
"Gunther!" Sigurd roared in a suppressed voice.
" You are just an arrogant bastard who relies on his family to show off " Gunther said disdainfully.
" Gunther I will definitely kill you " Sigurd clenched his fist with red eyes.
" Said the person who was defeated by a single snowflake " Gunther mocked.
Immediately faint snickering sounds sounded across the hall as the people in the hall looked at Sigurd with mocking gazes.
BOOOOM!
"Gunther! " A palpable aura spread out of Sigurd body as his body emitted crackling sounds.
Gunther looked fearlessly at Sigurd as he also released his aura.
"You want to fight, let me tell Sigurd I defeated you before and l can defeat again, you wanna try " Gunther stretched his fingers and pointed at Sigurd.
The atmosphere in the hall was tense as everyone made floor for both Gunther and Sigurd as both of them looked at each with killing intent.
Suddenly a cold and domineering voice sounded.
"Are you two going to fight in my presence?".
