Chapter 11: Blue Wind Empire

Chapter 11: Blue Wind Empire

Chu Yuechan woke up early in the morning. When she stepped out of the room, she saw Yun Wuji meditating.

She walked closer silently, observing him. This was the first time she had taken a good look at him.

He looked quite young, which explained why he got angry when she called him senior. His handsome face and gentle, clean, and quiet demeanor exuded an infectious aura that made people want to indulge in it as if the whole world had calmed with his presence.

She squatted down in front of him, resting her face in her hands, and gazed at him absent- mindedly.

"What are you doing?" Wuji asked, opening his eyes.

"Nothing, I was just curious," she replied, blinking her eyes.

"Curious?" he asked, confused by her answer.

"I'm curious about you," she replied, counting her questions on her fingers. "Why are you alone in this place, and how are you so strong despite being so young?"

"Oh~ you want to know?" Yun Wuji said with a smile.

"Yes!" she nodded, her eyes filled with anticipation.

"It's a secret-" He moved his head closer until she could feel his breath.

"Why?!" she asked, her tone filled with curiosity and a hint of frustration.

"Because I don't want to," he laughed, getting to his feet.

"Alright, you have ice energy in your body that needs to be expelled, or it could affect your health later." After teasing her, Wuji was ready to begin the treatment.

He didn't remove the ice energy yesterday because she wouldn't have noticed the difference. Now is the right time; she would feel the difference, and when she recovers her memories in the future, she'll be more grateful to him.

"What's 'ice air'?" she asked, puzzled by his earlier statement.

"Ice air is, as the name implies, ice energy inside your body. It's likely a side effect of your Profound Arts," Yun Wuji explained.

"Alright then," she simply nodded and accepted his explanation.

"You can sit here. Give me your back," he pointed at a chair and asked her to sit down.

He placed his hand on her back and infused his light profound energy into her body. With precise control, the energy circulated through her meridians, expelling the ice energy outward. As the ice energy left her body, a thin layer of frost formed on her back.

As Wuji's gentle profound energy entered her body, she felt a warm current circulating through her. Each strand felt as comforting and gentle as the arrival of spring, reminiscent of a mother's loving embrace.

She was so comfortable that she didn't notice the ice forming around her body.

"With this, all the ice energy inside your body is cleared." After a while, Yun Wuji withdrew his hand and asked, "How do you feel?"

"Huh?" His voice brought her back to reality. "Yes, I feel so comfortable. I never knew I could be this relaxed!" She moved her body, causing the ice to crack. She felt liberated as if someone who had a stiff neck for a long time and had grown accustomed to it suddenly found relief. It was so comfortable that it brought tears to her eyes!

"By the way, what should I call you? I can't just keep calling you 'you' or 'hey'," Yun Wuji said. 'I bet my balls she's going to ask me to give her a name. It's so cliché!'

"Hmm? How about you give me a name?" She tilted her head and pondered before asking him to give her a name.

'I knew it!'

"What do you think of 'Little Fairy'?" Wuji didn't need to think twice. It was her nickname in the novel; it suited her current self, and he quite liked it honestly.

"Little Fairy? But I'm not little!" She nodded her head, then shook it again, appearing both satisfied and not at the same time.

"You don't like it? You can change it if you want," Wuji said.

"No! I like it!" She quickly shook her head.

"Now that you've recovered, we will leave this place," he said.

"Leave? Where?" she asked. She didn't have much attachment to this place, so she felt no reluctance to leave.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"Blue Wind Empire. I have some business there," he answered. Of course, it wasn't as simple as 'some business'; in fact, his future cultivation and life path depended entirely on this visit.

Phoenix Trial, Dragon Trial, Ancestral Goddess, The Samsara Mirror, Xia Qingyue, Yun Canghai, and others- all of these are crucial elements for his future plans.

It's ridiculous how all these are gathered in the smallest and weakest empire on the planet, and perhaps even in the universe.

"You are at the 9th level of the Sky Profound Realm. Do you remember how to fly?" he asked as they walked out of the house.

"Of course, I know. Although I lost my memories, that doesn't mean I've forgotten common sense," she replied, puffing her cheeks as if annoyed at him for doubting her.

"Ok," he nodded his head. Cultivation, languages, and most of common sense aren't usually affected by amnesia because they are fixed at the subconscious level.

Soon, Little Fairy and Wuji took off, leaving the wilderness behind.

The Blue Wind Empire is the smallest and weakest nation among the seven countries in the Profound Sky Continent. It is remote, lacks resources, and its highest-level cultivators peak at the middle of the Emperor Profound Realm.

With Wuji's strength, he could crush them with a sneeze.

"Look, the Profound Floating Technique! Those people are at the Sky Profound Realm!" In the imperial capital, some onlookers exclaimed in amazement and envy as they watched two figures flying overhead.

"This is the Blue Wind Imperial Capital. Does it look familiar to you?" Yun Wuji asked as they flew above.

"I don't know. I don't feel anything," Little Fairy replied quietly after a moment, shaking her

head.

"Hmm, let's get down and see if you remember anything," Yun Wuji suggested. They descended to the ground, and as they did, people quickly moved away, leaving a clear space around them. The onlookers cast admiring and awestruck looks at the pair.

"Why are these people looking at us?" Little Fairy felt uncomfortable being the center of attention, especially from men. Despite her warm and sometimes cute behavior around Wuji, it was only because she felt close to him. Her instinctively cold nature made her dislike being stared at like this.

"Because it's rare to see Sky Profound Realm cultivators in this place," he explained before

they walked away.

Although the Imperial Capital is small compared to other empires, in reality, it's quite large! It's many times bigger than Tokyo or New York back on Earth.

They both walked around the capital for a while but didn't find anything interesting. Wuji wasn't impressed, having seen grander cities back on the Azure Cloud Continent, while Little

Fairy didn't feel comfortable.

"There's nothing noteworthy here. Let's leave," Wuji proposed, noticing she didn't seem happy staying. His goal in visiting was to satisfy his curiosity; after all, this place was frequently mentioned in the novel, and he hoped to meet Cang Yue along the way.

From Chu Yuechan's strength, Wuji could easily deduce that the plot is still far away. It was possible that Cang Yue was still in the capital and had not yet gone to New Moon City.

Not long after they left a man and a girl appeared.

The man was middle-aged with a few strands of white hair, and his gaze was sharp.

The teenage girl's beauty was captivating: sparkling eyes with a gentle, unassuming gaze, radiating a noble grace. Her cherry-colored lips and crescent-shaped eyebrows added to her

allure.

"It seems that we are too late after all, sigh!" The man let out a sigh.

They noticed the arrival of the two unknown Sky Profound Realm individuals and considered

approaching them, but hesitated to avoid offending them. Despite the man being a Half-Step Emperor Profound, he sensed a dangerous aura from the pair, particularly the man. As they waited for a suitable opportunity to approach, the two suddenly departed.

"Uncle it is not your fault, who would know that they would leave so quickly!" The girl

comforted him.

"You are right your highness." The man nodded his head.
