"Sai, what did you get during your investigation?" She asked and he glanced at her.

"The news of your nation is spreading across the lands like wildfire along with the news you told others to start spreading as well, more people are becoming aware of the enemies and are even talking where they spotted them before, it's going according to your plan," He responded.

"Is that so? Then it will be only a certain amount of time before the spreading of the news leads back to you, they will come for you, you know that right?" She asked and a smirk appeared on his face.

"I know, which is why I made sure they know about me, this way we will start getting to their bases, which is your target for now, right?" He asked.

"Yeah, it will cut down their numbers as well as help me bring out their commander, I am starting to connect the dots more because of this, they left traces behind, which even they were not aware of, those I am using to my advantages, it's similar to a game of chess," She responded and he smiled.

After hearing that things were going the way she wanted, especially against the enemies, she was pleased but knew that it wouldn't be for too long, which is why she was willing to spend every waking moment she had to use her opening wisely.

"Also, I successfully did what you wanted and a few other precautions I took as well, I wonder what it will feel like to have their own men being turned against them and the start is near, are you going to take a look at the other nations their higher-ups were in?" He asked.

"Yeah, I will be visiting but I got some unexpected news lately, one from the people who are considered holy, the ones that work mostly with the council as well as the most powerful kingdom among the others, seems like the trust between them is starting to waver," She responded.

"What?" He asked and she sighed.

"Yeah, their nonsense is sparking something else as well, they didn't quite expect that," He responded.

"What are you going to do?" He asked.

"Just let it play out, keep using whatever opening you have, it's already benefitting you in many more ways than one is it not?" The demon asked and she turned around, only to see him standing by the balcony and he waved at her.

"Tell me, how far ahead does your plan go?" He asked.

"I know and it will continue to be like that," He replied and a smirk appeared on Nessa's face.

'He is no different from a tactician himself, he is dangerous in his own way, I wonder what the future will bring us from now on,' She thought.

"Will you venture into a demon lord's territory now that it has come to this?" He asked and both of them looked at him and Nessa's eyes narrowed as her lips curled up into a smirk.
